I’m using the multi-select option in the category dropdown (drilldown menu) on the search form. After selecting one or more subcategories, the dropdown remains open and partially covers the “Search” button below it, which may confuse users.
From a UX perspective, it would be more intuitive if there was a visible “OK” or “Confirm” button within the dropdown that allows users to finalize their selection and close the dropdown manually.
Currently, there’s no clear way to confirm the selection, the dropdown stays open until the user clicks elsewhere, and it’s not obvious that their selections were saved.

Is there a built-in way to enable such a confirmation button, or would you recommend a custom implementation?

Please, I have one more very important question regarding a problem that occurred after updating the theme and Listeo plugins.
I only use categories and subcategories. One of the main categories is, for example, “Halal Smještaj” (Halal Accommodation), and it is organized into subcategories such as “Hoteli” (Hotels), “Apartmani” (Apartments), and “Vikendice” (Villas/Cottages).
The issue is that when I enter a main category like “Halal Smještaj” (or any other), the subcategories are not selectable. Instead of being able to select them, they have arrows beside them and are clickable, which leads to a new (empty) hierarchy. This behavior started right after the update, and I have already spent several days trying to fix it.
I tried unchecking the “Link the custom taxonomy ‘Object Type’ with the listing categories” option, and I’ve also double-checked the category hierarchy in the backend and everything looks correct there.
I’m not sure what the problem is anymore and would really appreciate your help. I have already purchased two licenses and used up both of my support periods, so I can’t renew support at the moment, but I’m hoping you can still help me resolve this issue, especially since it started immediately after the update.

I have now performed a restore to a state from two days ago when my site was working correctly, before any updates. I then updated the theme first, and after that, I updated the plugins one by one. After each plugin update, I checked if the categories and subcategories were functioning correctly. Everything worked fine until the last plugin.
The last plugin I updated was Listeo Core. After updating this plugin, the site’s categories and subcategories are misbehaving again. Specifically, the subcategories are no longer selectable. Instead, they now show an arrow and branch into ‘other’ sub-subcategories that, in essence, do not exist.
So, something is wrong with Listeo Core plugin, I dont know what exactly.
No known such bug, zero reports so far. Send support ticket with admin access, we will check.
But looking at your website I see you use LiteSpeed Cache. Disable it and check again.
I just updated Listeo to the latest version 1.9.2 along with all the plugins in my test environment, and everything works just fine. Wait, “The only thing that’s still an issue is that you can’t directly select the second level of the drilldown menu when there are no child categories inside.” -This is the exactly what I am talking about for a couple of days.
I have been trying for a 2-3 days now to make the second level of the drilldown menu selectable!
The second level of the drilldown menu was selectable in the older version of Listeo Core, but not in the new version. That is the big issue (from my perspective that is a big bug) because my website only has two levels of drilldown menu and if it is not possible to select the subcategories then the whole website is missing its point
. Please fix that bug as soon as possible, so I can build further my website.

It can but as far as I remember you disabled it in fields editor. “Multi select” was unchecked.
Now everything looks fine even on my PC. There was a problem with cashe, as you said.
I have a new question, when I choose “Buregdzinice” and search, I get one listing, when I choose “Cevabdzinice” and search, I get another listing, BUT when I multiselect both “Buregdzinice” and “Cevabdzinice” then I get nothing (Nothing found) instead of showing 2 listings. Any idea why that is?
Add the same filter on search results page because there is no such filter as far as I remember. Consider renewing support for further help. We receive 150+ tickets per week I think it will be fair to other customers who have active support. I’ve created a custom listing page using Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder, and it displays correctly once the listing is published. However, when submitting a new listing, the Preview does not reflect the Elementor layout, and it shows the default template instead.
Is there a way to configure the theme so that the custom Elementor template is also used for the preview mode during listing submission?

I’m using the drilldown menu for category selection on the search page, and I’ve noticed an issue with final-level (leaf) categories like “Buregdžinice” or “Pizzerije”.
Although these categories have no child categories, clicking on them still opens a new (empty) sub-level instead of simply selecting the category and closing the dropdown.
The expected behavior is for these categories to be selected immediately when clicked, without navigating into an empty submenu.

My support has expired. I will try to fix all this by myself, but I feel that I should get help because it’s the issue with the theme and not something else.
This new dropdown style came out a couple of months ago, and I’ve never seen an issue like this before. Plus, it seems like you changed the styling, so I don’t think it’s a theme-related problem

No information on listings and existing Memberships (members vs. free), or if Claiming would be enabled or not (claimed vs. not claimed), We are importing our lists from Brilliant Directories. We can’t imagine going through and reassigning over 1,000 members. We didn’t find much in the documentation.

Hi, I have added a custom page for Dashboard Listings Menu following the documentation. Apparently, the menu is appearing and accessible by guest users too. Is this is bug? The new page is “Dashboard Page” page template as per docu.
Also, the icon for that menu I defined is not showing.
That’s not much details so I am not able to answer precisely however as to icon not showing – it’s a bug and will be addressed in next update
I have created a custom page using one of my custom shortcodes and assigned it the “Dashboard Page” template as per your documentation (which says that any page you create for that menu should use the “Dashboard Page” template).
This custom page is now showing correctly in the user dashboard, and of course, it should only be accessible to logged-in users (owners). However, I’ve noticed that guest users can still log in and access this page:

Dashboard pages are not only for owners, only specific ones so “theme doesn’t know” which user role could access your custom page.

For example, in a page that you are going to create, put there a calendar (something similar to the one that the owner sees in the dashboard), but in this case for a client to see the events that are available on a certain date.

Hi, Is it possible to setup “Category templates”...meaning, when someone signup to a category I want them tot fill in specific information, and when user selected a category I want them to only filter by specific things within that category. Example: House Cleaning would have different categories/sub-categories compared to Landscaping.

I have a directory which I’m moving over to Listeo. One of the main reason is that the current BD does not have features for “customers/regular day-to-day people” to post jobs…it’s just a directory for Searching. And nobody wants to search and click through pages of “handyman” and still have to figure out or send 50 emails (to multiple providers).
This is where your upcoming feature for ‘price’ will have a big impact as well. I want people to be able to post what they are looking for, within an area, within a price range, and then only have those that are filtered to choose from, not hundreds.
So, would it be considered multi-vendor if it’s only my members? They will still be able to create accounts, use the dashboard, bid on jobs, etc.

Is it true that comissions are supported only when using stripe?
No, that’s not entirely true. Commissions are supported for all bookings made through Listeo, regardless of the payment gateway used.
Each booking is tracked and stored in your WordPress Dashboard → Commissions, where you can manage bookings and orders and see how much you need to transfer to the listing owner. You can set your commission rate in Dashboard → Listeo Core → General.
However, the automatic split payment functionality, where the commission is automatically deducted and the rest is sent directly to the listing owner, is technically only supported with Stripe and PayPal.
If you use other payment gateways that work with WooCommerce, you will still earn your commission, but you will need to handle the payouts to the listing owners manually.
