Hi, thanks for the question. The calendars do not sync in the booking system. The way it’s designed is every calendar is separate with its own schedule.
It is not required to use different calendars though. You could use one calendar, and add a field into the booking form for the customer to select which tour they want to book.
It is a feature built right into the booking system to add custom fields, so it’s very easy to do.

1) There is some customization available – you can choose whether to ask for full name and if you want to require email and/or make accounts or not. Then otherwise you can add any number of extra additional fields that you want
2) Yes it’s ready for translation – if you just want to display the site in one language that isn’t English, we recommend the free plugin Loco Translate
3) The payments system is set up through WooCommerce, so if it can be done in Woo then it should work here – there are plugins that make it so you can accept partial payment or a deposit, so those should work as options
4) Yes – it is through Woo, so any payment options for Woo will work
i have bought this theme long time ago. Now trying to install. Plugins like Elementor page builder, kirki, formidable are not included. If it is not included – your theme becomes useless. Any comments?

Hello, I am currently using the Embark template, and after upgrading to WordPress 6.8.1 (released on June 10, 2025), I encountered several issues that were not present before the update. Based on your support team’s response, I understand that the template is fully compatible with WordPress 6.8.1, but upon testing it, I experienced multiple problems, so I had to revert to WordPress 6.7.2.
Additionally, I noticed that your official website only states compatibility with WordPress 6.7.x, and I couldn’t find any mention of WordPress 6.8.1. Given that the last update for the template was in January, it seems unlikely that it would be fully compatible with the WordPress 6.8.1 version released just a few weeks ago.
Could you kindly confirm if there are any plans to release an update that ensures full compatibility with WordPress 6.8.1? I would greatly appreciate any information regarding this matter, as well as any steps I can take to resolve the issues I am experiencing in the meantime.

1. The plugin includes a one-way sync where you can choose to have the bookings show up on your Google / Apple / Outlook calendars, but it does not include a sync with other platforms such as GetYourGuide.
2. If you use separate calendars, they use completely separate schedules. So if you have different tours and want to prevent double-booking, it’s best to offer all of the tour options on one calendar which can be done and generally works well.

We just put our website in production. When an order is placed, we must change its status to completed to validate it. We must then go to the QuickCal calendar to also validate the appointment. Is it possible to automate the validation of the appointment when the status of an order changes to completed? Via an API perhaps or something else? Is there something we missed in this regard?

While doing this, I realized that we haven’t received the latest version of QuickCal. We never receive updates since updating from Booked to QuickCal. We always have to ask you for the latest version. Can you tell us how to automatically receive the update? And can we have the latest version ?

The QuickCal updates should be pushed directly to your WP Dashboard. What version do you have installed now? Can you please renew your support with us so we can look into your issue directly?
I’m reaching out again because I still do not receive theme updates via the WordPress admin panel, despite your previous assurances.
I purchased the theme last year, and at the time it came bundled with the Booked plugin. Your team later instructed me to switch to QuickCal instead. Since then, I have never received an update automatically.
You’ve already sent me manual updates twice, each time assuring me that future updates would be delivered automatically. That has not happened. As per the terms of the original purchase, updates are supposed to be included—I should not have to pay again to access them.
We are currently stuck on version 1.0.14 and require the latest version: 1.0.15.
On top of that, I had to manually fix several style issues because QuickCal’s integration with Embark is not seamless. Given these complications, I believe the least your team can do is ensure we receive updates properly—without any additional cost.
Please address this issue and provide a reliable solution.

The json file is still not up to date… However, I manually installed the update, and since then, we no longer receive appointment details in the order confirmation email. (Calendar and appointment date/time) I am deeply disappointed with Themovation and completely bewildered by the situation.
Hi, yes as I mentioned in our direct message conversation, due to scheduling the JSON file update took a bit longer than I had mentioned – however it was updated today so it’s reflecting the latest version.
We are aware of the issue you have mentioned as well (regarding booking info in the order) and we’re working to address it with a fix as soon as possible.
Version 1.0.15 has fixes to address specific issues, but if you were not experiencing those issues, then you can use 1.0.14 until the next update is released soon.
I saw today the update of the JSON file thanks.
Version 1.015 also fixes appointments that block the calendar in the admin. We’ll stick with that and in the meantime we can check the date and time of appointments on QuickCal. I hope it doesn’t last all summer either, otherwise I won’t be able to get out of it! (canoe and kayak rental)
I hope the update to fix emails will be released soon!

It would be great to have more frequent updates in general. In my opinion, 6 months, in some cases, is a significant change in plugins.
Fix those minor bugs I mentioned in my first ticket (2022).
Also, QuickCal should update automatically from the plugin itself, so I don’t have to wait for a new version to come out, request it so you can send it to me, upload it, and update it.
Small things that I think make a difference.
The theme deserves it.

Is it time for an update?

Presale Q: Hello, We are starting a new project for a travel company that requires an availability system for their single tour pages. Each tour should have its own availability calendar displaying real-time availability information for every calendar day. For example, if a tour has a maximum capacity of 50 people on April 4th, the number of available seats should decrease automatically as bookings are made on that day.
Would your theme support this functionality, or do you have any recommendations on how to implement it?
Hi, yes all of that is possible.
There is just one note and that is that if you have a maximum capacity for tours, then each booking made needs to be for one individual slot, in order for the available seats to decrease according to what is available.
If max capacity is not an issue, you can always add a custom field to state how many people are in the group, but that would not impact the number of available slots.

Hi, during SEO audit I found out that I have 2 H1 headers even though I had only 1 on my website. The second one was automatic title that appears as page title and is counted as H1 as well. What can I do to make page title not be counted as H1?

During update I faced critical error and information that theme was not updated, however in envato plugin displayed theme version is 1.4.6. Did it update, even though there was error?
We have seen that happen before; it’s not a problem. If it says 1.4.6 then the update was a success.
