Hello – im getting an error here. something is misconfigured – trying to work out what it is and how to fix the error code is
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/sites/*/public_html/wp-content/themes/physio-qt/index.php:8 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /home/sites/**/public_html/wp-content/themes/physio-qt/index.php on line 8
I havent edited of the theme files thanks very much
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! We haven’t seen any issues coming from the function you mentioned. The get_header function is a core part of WordPress and is essential for displaying the theme header correctly.
Could you please check that both your theme and any bundled plugins are updated to the latest version? The current theme version is v3.3.9.3. Bundled plugins should be updated after updating the theme. If you’re not on this version yet, I recommend updating the theme first.
Typically, this type of error occurs in a few situations:
- Trying to access /index.php directly, which isn’t compatible with WordPress.
- Placing the physio-qt theme folder outside of the WordPress themes directory (/wp-content/themes).
- Custom code in functions.php or a plugin calling get_header() too early.
As a troubleshooting step, I recommend temporarily deactivating your plugins to see if that resolves the issue. Also, please check for any custom code added to functions.php (or a custom code plugin) and remove it temporarily to see if that helps. Once these steps are done, make sure your theme is updated to the latest version.
If none of these resolve the issue, it may require a closer look. I also want to kindly note that your support license expired in 2022. To provide hands-on assistance with troubleshooting or fixes, we usually ask customers to extend their support license.
Hi there, is there anyway to disable lazy loading for the slider? via code or anything like that? its negatively affecting page speed insights.
Kind Regards Mike
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your message.
There’s actually no lazy loading set on the slider images, they use the loading=”eager” attribute, so they won’t be lazy loaded by default. If you’re seeing lazy loading behavior, it’s most likely coming from an additional plugin you have installed.
Also, just to be safe, make sure you’re running the latest version of the theme so you’ve got all the recent fixes and improvements.
Hope that helps clear things up!
Your right! im using BerqWP – theres no where I can exlude the slider from there – natively it covers “all images” its a great plugin -just wanted to know if icould drop some code somewhere (possibly html in each slider image “content” to exclude that) – Ive just updated too – thanks very much!
Ah, that makes sense, thanks for checking! Unfortunately, there’s no way to override this from our side. The plugin is actually overwriting our slider’s default loading attribute, so it would need to be handled within the plugin itself. The best next step would be to reach out to the BerqWP developer and see if they offer a way to exclude specific images from lazy loading, either through their settings or with some custom code.
Hope that points you in the right direction!
Legend ! – thanks soo much
It appears the Contact Form 7 Plugin is not working very well for many people even with WP SMTP. Any plans to change this plugin out for something that works?
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Contact forms don’t directly send emails themselves, they simply pass the message to your domain’s mail server, which is then responsible for delivering it to the recipient’s email address. If messages aren’t being delivered, or if delivery is inconsistent, it’s often related to the server setup. In those cases, we recommend reaching out to your hosting provider so they can investigate the issue more closely. Just make sure your SMTP plugin is correctly configured before reaching out to them.
We’ve been using the plugin for nearly 10 years with our themes. At this time, we don’t have plans to switch to a different contact form plugin, but of course, you’re welcome to use an alternative if you prefer something else that better suits your setup.
It looks like the Advanced Custom Fields PRO is outdated (version 5.12.3) with a vulnerability severity of 9.9/10. However, when I want to update the plugins, no available update appears. The theme (Version: 3.3.8.2) and all other plugins are up-to-date. How can I update Advanced Custom Fields PRO too, to not be a vulnerability on my website? Thanks for your reply.
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
In that case you can update the plugin by deleting Advanced Custom Fields PRO from your site and re-install the plugin under Appearance -> Install Plugins (not through the direct “Plugins” tab).
got it. thanks!
You’re welcome
I’m interested in purchasing this theme for a website I plan to build. The website will be in two languages: English and Arabic, so RTL support is essential.
Could you please confirm the following:
Does the theme fully support RTL (Right-to-Left) layout?
Will the entire layout—including navigation, alignment, and text direction—shift correctly when switching to Arabic?
Will the design and aesthetics remain clean and user-friendly in RTL view?
I’d appreciate your confirmation before I proceed with the purchase. Thank you.
Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in the theme.
The Physio theme fully supports RTL (Right-to-Left) layouts. Once you set your WordPress site language to Arabic, the theme will automatically switch to an RTL layout. Please see the link below. I enabled RTL mode on my local theme installation, and this is how the header and slider area appear: https://ibb.co/219CgvR1
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for the message. I will have to use both languages, main one is English and then a tab to switch. That should be okay right?
Unfortunately, the functionality to make a WordPress website multilingual is only available through a plugin. However, the Physio theme is compatible with both the WPML and Polylang plugins, which can be used to achieve this.
Yes okay clear. Thank you.
You’re welcome! If you have any other questions please let me know.
Hi , I’ve had this Theme for a good while and NO issues. Recently my Logo link is broken and not matter what I do to reupload it wont display. Any help/direction is appreciated. Thanks
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Most likely the issue is related to your WordPress installation not being configured yet for a HTTPS connection. Therefore the logo will show up as a broken image if you access your website over HTTPS.
Please follow the steps outlined in this article. This should resolve the issue and make your logo visible again.
Thanks so much it fixed the issue! I noticed many comments about Slider not showing anymore. What do we need to do to get the demo slider back up? please point me in the right direction , thanks
First check if you have at least version 6.4.0.1 installed and activated of the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin. If not you can update and install/activate this plugin under Appearance -> Install Plugins on your dashboard (not through the direct “Plugins” tab).
Then, edit your homepage and make sure the “Front Page Slider” template has been selected. You can do this while editing the homepage at the right side at the “Template” setting.
Now the slider should be visible again.
That worked! I really cant thank you guys enough. Definitely will be purchasing another niche theme thru you guys in the future. Thanks again
You’re welcome, glad everything is working again!
Hi. I make simple changes directly to the text block of my homepage from Avata Builder or from Avada Live but I can not see my changes on the site. I press the Update/Save button and the page does not show the new content. I hane not extra plugins for cache. The weakness I face has to do with the end of my support? My theme and plugins are updated.
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Please note that Avada Live and Avada Builder are not part of our theme, but are exclusive to the Avada theme itself. Kindly verify if you have updated your theme to the latest version, which is v3.3.8. If you are not using this version, please follow the instructions in this article to update your theme.
If that doesn’t help please send us a message through the contact form on our profile page, with a link and login to your website, and our support will have a closer look.
Thanks!
Hello
How can I change the backgroun and the font color of the Side Page Widget? Thanks for your help.
Hi there,
Please refer this to our support desk at https://qreativethemes.ticksy.com and our support will be happy to help.
Thank you.
I have version 1.0.3 – is it elementor compatible?
Hi there,
Unfortunately that version is not compatible with Elementor because it’s an outdated theme version, later theme versions are compatible with Elementor.
I recommend to download the latest theme version from ThemeForest (from the account that purchased the theme) and then update the theme on your website.
Hope this helps.
How the appointment system works. How we are notified when the user makes an appointment. Can we receive notifications via SMS and mail. Or is it just a message to the wordpress admin panel.
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
You will receive an email when a visitor books an appointment, and you will see a notification within the WordPress admin panel. SMS is not possible unfortunately.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi, the logo does not diaplay after uploading my logo, Is there any other place to upload the logo apart from the theme options?
Hi there,
Could you check if the “Logo width” setting under Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Logo & Site Icon is set to a value greater than 0, something like 100 of 200.
If that doesn’t work, your WordPress CMS is probably not yet configured for an HTTPS connection and therefore the browser is not loading the logo image because it is stored within an HTTP path.
To fix this (and make the logo visible) follow the steps in this article:
Thanks a bunch! Changing to the HTTPS connection fixed the issue.
Great! You’re welcome
There is this warning with the latest version and PHP 8.
Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /wp-content/themes/physio-qt/inc/theme-actions.php on line 266
The problem is that this array is empty:
$slide_buttons = get_sub_field( 'button_colors', $get_the_id );
// Button default
$slide_btn_color = $slide_buttons['slide_button_color'];
$slide_btn_background = $slide_buttons['slide_button_background'];
$slide_btn_background_hover = $slide_buttons['slide_button_background_hover'];
// Button outline
$slide_btn_outline_color = $slide_buttons['slide_button_outline_color'];
$slide_btn_outline_border = $slide_buttons['slide_button_outline_border'];
$slide_btn_outline_border_hover = $slide_buttons['slide_button_outline_border_hover'];
Hi there,
Thank you for mentioning!
The theme has just been updated on ThemeForest and the issue should be resolved. Please update the theme on your end and afterwards the bundled plugin Physio Toolkit under Appearance -> Install Plugins.
Please let me know if that fixed the issue.
When I create the home page using the Front page Slider template, the CSS of the Main Footer change: the “Extra Navigation” and “Our services” columns have different background colour. The rest of the pages that are not the home page (and they don’t use Front page Slider template) work like a charm. I’ve tried to change home page from Front page Slider template to Default template and the CSS are correct, but when I change back to Front page slider template, the CSS are wrong again. What can I do? Thank you.
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
It appears that the texts added to the slider contain hidden HTML markup that disrupts parts of the theme.
Can you try to remove all texts from the slider fields and paste them in Notepad on your PC. Make sure the slider fields are completely empty and copy the texts from Notepad back into the slider fields to see if that fixes the issue.
If that doesn’t work could you send me a message through the contact form on our profile page with a link and login to your website and I’ll have a closer look.
I tried to remove texts and do the notepad trick and it didn’t work. Also I removed the slides and created them again, no luck. I’ve just sent you a message using the contact form.
Fair, I have replied to your email
Thank you!!
Since your update, there is now a change. Instead of the ’>’ symbols in the dropdown menus of ‘Our services’ and ‘Extra navigation’ (up in the main menus and also in the main footer), square boxes are now appearing. Do you know what could be causing this? Thanks!
Forget it, I’ve deleted cache and now it works, sorry
Awesome, thank you for letting me know.
How do I change the font color and size for paragraph? Thanks.
Hi there,
The base font size of the theme (for paragraphs) can be changed under Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Typography at the Primary font – font size setting.
The paragraph font color can be changed under Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Layout & Colors at the Text color setting.
Unfortunately we see that your support license has expired since 2016. If you need more help please extend your support license and we are happy to help.
Thank you. Gee whiz I should’ve been able to see that! Awesome you’ve added lots of customisability. I’m not used to that. Have rated the theme at 5 stars!
Still trying to figure out how to change the images on the homepage slider. I’m new to Elementor and there’s nothing in the documentation about how to do it.
Thank you for your rating again, we appreciate it.
Unfortunately we can’t provide ongoing support through the comment section on ThemeForest, we only provide theme support through our support desk at https://qreativethemes.ticksy.com/. If you have more support related questions please open a support ticket and we are more than happy to help you with it.
I found where to edit the slider, but simply cannot understand why you didn’t insert an Elementor slider? You really need to update the theme to change the slider to Elementor. As it stands there is no way to alter the font for the slider text. The slider fails to open the button link in a new tab too.
I’m not spening AUD$61 for a defect in the theme!
It is a technical decision to add the slider by using a page template instead of directly in Elementor, as that would bring other limitations as well. Many themes are using this approach, especially themes that are using popular slider plugins like Revolution Slider for example.
However, feel free to add the “QT: Slider” block in Elementor if you wish to add and edit the slider directly in Elementor and have more customization options for the texts.
Regarding the link modal that does not open I fully understand you’re not going to pay for an new support license, but you’ve asked more support related questions at the beginning. You purchased this theme in 2016 for a website that is offline now, as I can see from your support tickets from that year. This also means that you do not have an active support license. I’m happy to help with a question or two, even for customers who have been using the theme for so long and without an active support license, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Without an active support license you simply cannot get ongoing support from theme authors, that’s how it works on ThemeForest.
If you wish to add the slider through the default way, and you want me to have a look at the broken link modal feel free to send me a message through the contact form on our profile page with a link and login to the website and I’ll have a closer look. If you have other or more support-related questions, I ask you to renew your support license.
Hope this helps!
Thanks it does. I see you’ve been maintaining the theme, this is greatly appreciated. I sent you an email re: bug with QT:Image Brand element not opening links in new window. The theme may be old but it holds up even today. You did a good job imho. See result here: https://www.olaosteopathy.com.au
Thank you for the compliment! I’m glad to hear it’s still working for you
Can you pls update your theme with the latest version of Advanced Custom Fields PRO? Version 6.3.1. As the version you have in your theme has critical security vulnerabiity and my site is getting infected with malware because of this.
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
The latest ACF PRO (6.3.1.2) can be downloaded by deleting the current ACF PRO plugin from your website and re-install the plugin under Appearance -> Install Plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks! I did that. It installed an even older version of the plugin. Version 5.9.5
If you re-install the plugin under Appearance -> Install it probably say an older version will be installed, but if you go to the “Plugins” tab after installing the plugin you will see the latest ACF PRO version is installed (v6.3.1.2).
If this is not the case could you please send me a message through the contact form on our profile page.
I have messaged you last week. Can you check & reply pls ?
I replied back to your email, 3 days ago.
You can download ACF PRO from the link I sent in my email reply. Or,
We just updated the theme with the latest ACF PRO update that is released today (v6.3.2).
You can download and update the theme on your end and then update ACF PRO under Appearance -> Install Plugins.
Hope this helps!
Perfect. Got it from the download extras folder. Thanks! very much. Appreciate your quick response.
You’re welcome!
Hi QreativeThemes,
Thank you for creating the Physio theme, it looks great and we are using it now for our new website. Could I ask how to edit/remove the footer sections on our current site?
https://staging2.speechtherapywithjulia.com/?page_id=7926Thanks sincerely,
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Please open a support ticket on our support desk at https://qreativethemes.ticksy.com and our support will be happy to help.
Thank you.
Hello, i have one problem and I can’t find solution. I can not add new plugins. I check profile and I am admin.
Thank you Katja
So i see that is this kind of theme. Where can I add Google tag for Analytics? Thank you Katja
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
To add a Google Analytics tag you can install the GA Google Analytics plugin but if you don’t see the “Plugins” tab on your dashboard, that need to be sort our first.
Could you open a support ticket on our support desk at https://qreativethemes.ticksy.com, we will have a closer look to figure out what’s going on.
This theme comes packaged with Advanced Custom Fields Pro. However, I don’t see a way to enable automatic updates for the ACF Pro plugin on my plugin page. It also does not give me an alert when an update is available. This causes my scheduled posts to fail if there is an update available and I did not notice before scheduling a post. How do I enable automatic updates of ACF Pro?
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to enable automatic updates for ACF PRO because this plugin version is not available in the plugin directory of WordPress. ACF PRO is only sold/distributed through the developers website itself and their license only allows us to bundle the plugin with the theme.
When there is an update available for ACF PRO we will always update the plugin package on our end as soon as possible, so theme users can update ACF PRO themselves by deleting ACF PRO from their website and re-install the latest version under Appearance -> Install Plugins.
The only way to enable automatic updates for ACF PRO is if you buy your own license for this plugin. We are not affiliated, this is simply how ACF have built their PRO plugin and license.
Is the free version of ACF compatible with the theme? Can I use that instead to enable automatic plugin updates?
It’s not fully compatible because the slider of our theme is using functionality that’s only available within the PRO version.
If you don’t need the slider of the theme, or if you’ve build your website upon Elementor Page Builder you could drop ACF PRO and install the free ACF version instead.
Hi Overthere, I noticed just now an error on one of my older sites: Instead of content only the word “array” is shown
I’ve got no clue since when this is the case and if it’s been introduced by a themeupdate. Do you know of this issue and have a resolve?
If this is already answered anywhere I didn’t find it and a push in the right direction would be great
Thx a lot in advance!
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Have you updated all bundled plugins (ACF PRO, Booked and Physio Toolkit) after the theme update under Appearance -> Install Plugins on your dashboard?
Yep, the plugins are uptodate: ACF 6.2.7, PhysioTK 1.99, Booked we don’t use.
I think it could also be that the pagetype was switched from SiteOrigin to Editor. Would that explain the behavior? When editing the page I get in text-mode sth starting like this: <!—wp:siteorigin-panels/layout-block {panelsData der \u003cstrong\u003eManuellen Therapie\u003c/strong\u003e handelt es sich um die Behandlung von heilbaren Funktion … and so forth.
That indicates the page builder mode got disabled and switched to the default editor of WordPress. Unfortunately that will break the page builder layout.
The best option is to install and activate the Classic Editor plugin.
After this plugin is activated edit the page again and you should be able to click the “Page Builder” label in the top right corner of the textarea (next to the Visual and Text tabs) to activate the page builder again.
Yes, I already guessed so much, but Classic-Editor was already installed from the beginning and I didn’t get Pagebuilder to show the content in any way.
Anyway, have now cleaned out the SO-code and recreated the page from hand. Was easiest that way.
Thx for your suggestion though. Great support as ever
Strange, I’m not sure what happened without actually seeing it.
Anyhow, thank you for letting me know
Hello support, There’s a bug with your physio toolkit plugin which won’t update to v.1.9.9, even when installed from your extras folder when redownloading the physio source files doesn’t work, just installs 1.9.8 and then keeps prompting that there is an update to the toolkit. I’ve tried completely deleting the toolkit and installing it, same problem again. Any ideas, please? Thank you. The envato plugin doesn’t work either, just fails to update
Hi there,
Thank you for mentioning! The issue is fixed and you should be able to update Physio Toolkit to v1.9.9.
Regarding the Envato plugin, do you have Envato Market as plugin or Envato Toolkit?
If you have Envato Toolkit make sure to delete this and install & configure Envato Market plugin as Envato Toolkit is not in use anymore.
Thanks very much for the update and the fix, all working fine now. Much appreciated
Great! You’re welcome
