I’m using the kingsley college demo as my base and have accidentally deleted the formatting of the “academics” menu in the main navigation. now all my menu/submenu items are stacked vertically and the school logo and caption are on the left, instead of overlaying the picture on the right. How do i get back to that menu format?

I have been using your theme for years – love it! But, I have noticed an issue with the permalink for courses. We have courses that have the same names, for example Spanish, but the difference would be in the permalink for example website.com/ks3/spanish and website.com/ks4/spanish.
Within the permalinks on the website I have the following structure: website.com/course/ course_category / postname / and I have resaved this after making changes, but it doesn’t appear to work.
If I change the course name to Spanish, it makes the Spanish link website.com/ks3/spanish-2, and then if I go to the website and put in website.com/ks3/spanish, it will take me to KS5, as will website.com/ks5/spanish.
Am I doing something wrong here?

- It’s the wordpress system that does not allow to posts ( courses ) to have the same slug.
- If the url does not exactly match with the course, wordpress will automatically redirect to the course with close slug.
- I’d recommend to add a unique identifier to each course with the same name instead. ( eg. instead of spanish, change it to ks3-spanish )

Could you make sure your site meets all the server requirements shown in the Goodlayers Start/Import > System Status section?
This may happen if the server limits the number of items that can be saved.
You can ask your hosting provider to increase the post.max_vars or max_input_vars to around 5000 to fix this.

Hi, I’m currently using the “College” demo, but I want to switch to the “Kindergarten” demo. How do I switch without losing the pages and content I’ve already created?

It can’t be switched just like that. Each demo will be processed when import the demo only. Each demos are not preset.
In this case, you may have to re-import the demo and work on it directly.
Please note that each elements in the page builder was created manually(like color, spacing) to match each demo.
However, what you can do is to upload the admin panel setting of the Kindergarten demo but it will override your current admin panel settings(every settings!) so please make sure that you’re ok with that. To upload admin panel settings, it will only reflect elements that set by admin panel such as header/footer but note that page builder design won’t change.

I’m experiencing an issue with my website using your theme. When the Goodlayers Core plugin is active, the Media Library search in both the Media section and the “Set Featured Image” modal does not return any results, even when searching for exact file names or titles.
Disabling Goodlayers Core immediately restores the search functionality, but the plugin is required for my theme to work properly.
I’ve tested with other plugins deactivated and confirmed that the issue is specifically caused by Goodlayers Core.
Could you please advise if there’s a fix or update to resolve this conflict so that I can keep Goodlayers Core active and have a working Media Library search?
