Hello. Are you going to add a follow icon on Google? Since the algorithm change, the drop in visits has been tremendous. Best regards.
Hello DeDvdes,
We are having difficulty understanding your request. Could you please provide a reference so that we can better understand what kind of icon you mean?
Thank You
Best Regards,
When I install the theme with the JNews Meta Header plugin enabled, the site displays the message “There has been a critical error on this website.” When I disable the plugin, the site works again. How can I fix this?
Hello gustavomolinari,
Our Support Team has previously assisted you through the support forum topic you created earlier. We kindly ask you to check it again using the link below.
JNews Meta Header – There has been a critical error on this website
Thank You
Hello, Well, you’ve released your new update!
Two questions: Have you addressed the important Accessibility Mandatory law, because you risk a €40,000 fine. Have you also revised the code to make it lighter, use more flexboxes, and be more optimized for mobile devices? Thanks
Hello WOODYP,
Are you currently experiencing any issues related to accessibility or optimization on mobile devices?
If you’re encountering any problems, you may create a new topic in our support forum using the link below.
Thank You
Congratulations on your release of version 12! I look forward to testing out the GEO functionality.
FYI, your home page states, “Join Over 16,407+ JNews Lovers.” You should update this to 28,000.
Hi WebInfinityNet,
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear you’re excited to try the new GEO feature!
And thanks for the heads up about the homepage, our team is currently updating the content.
Thank you
That’s a very interesting development! It’s great to see JNews focusing on future-proof optimisation. However, it might be beneficial to clarify the terminology for your global user base. In the digital marketing world, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is a precise tactic that specifically focuses on creating expert content for AI models to cite in their answers. It’s a key component of the wider and more universally recognised strategy: AI SEO (AI-Powered Search Engine Optimisation). From a marketing and communication standpoint, using AI SEO or AI Optimisation (AIO) as the overarching category for all your new AI features (including GEO) would instantly help customers understand that the theme supports a comprehensive modern SEO strategy.
Hi propagatica,
Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback and insights.
You made a really good point about the terminology. We agree that clarity is important, especially for our global users. We’ll definitely consider your suggestion about using AI SEO or AI Optimization (AIO) as a broader category to make our communication clearer.
Really appreciate you taking the time to share this, it helps us improve both our product and how we present it.
Thank you
Once again, congratulations on the success of JNEWS 12. A fantastic job!
Regarding terminology, the chances of the term SEO fading into obscurity are minimal. It has nearly 30 years of history behind it, and it is the livelihood for millions of professionals, agencies, and startups. SEO is a massive, multi-billion dollar ecosystem, encompassing countless knowledge resources, websites, and clients.
Of course, many new terms emerge and compete for a top position, and some will undoubtedly stay – most likely as supplementary terminology, similar to the more specialized GEO. However, SEO itself is likely to evolve into AI SEO. This shift allows everyone to retain the well-known and established “SEO” brand while accurately reflecting the nature of modern services, including your own.
Therefore, choosing the term AI SEO is a safe and strategic choice, also because it is the broadest and most accurately conveys the essence of what your service does.
Hi there. Jnews 12? Can I see a changelog? Thanks a lot!
Hi Hobiti,
This issue appears to be caused by caching. You may need to wait a while for the updates to be reflected.
Thank you
I have a problem with replacing default header from Jnews with custom one created from Elementor theme builder.
In order to use Elementor custom header instead od Jnews default one do I need to disable Jnews header first and if yes how could I do that?
When I try to create new header from theme builder Elementor editor is loading infinitely. The only way I can enter is if I go with Elementor safe mode.
I can open Jnews Footer builder, Archive template and post template with normal Elementor (not safe mode) without any problem. It only gets stuck in loading when trying to create new header template, so I guess it’s interfering with the Jnews default one.
Also when I do finally load elementor header template in safe mode, create header, and publish it, than when trying to preview it on frontend, page goes completely blank.
Do you know how to fix this problem with infinitely loading elementor and blank pages on frontend.. I guess disabling Jnews header in order to use this custom one is the key?
tnx!
Hello LookaZD,
The JNews theme is compatible with Elementor Pro’s Header Builder. We’ve also tried replicating this issue on our side, and the Header Builder from Elementor Pro worked properly.
If you’re still experiencing this issue, please consider creating a new support topic on the JNews Support Forum using the link below. It would be very helpful if you could include a screenshot or video so we can better understand the problem you’re facing.
In the meantime, please check your site configuration to ensure it meets Elementor’s requirements, which you can review at the link below. We also recommend increasing your site’s WP Memory Limit to 768MB.
Thank You
Hello, after the latest update, the review module stopped working properly. Can you help me with this? The system, which has worked flawlessly and hasn’t had any issues before, is now not adding review information to the text.
Hello rzrblds,
We assume that your site has an optimization feature such as an active caching system. We recommend clearing all caches on your site first to ensure the issue isn’t caused by your optimization setup.
If the issue persists, you can try deactivating plugins that are not related to the JNews theme, such as WP Rocket or similar plugins, and then check the issue again.
Thank You
Hello,
I tried what you suggested. There was no change. While doing this, I also discovered the root cause of the problem. Even if I enable the review button, which activates the review module for the post, and then click save, it still won’t process.
On another site where I use this theme, it works fine with PHP (7.4.33), WordPress 6.8.3, JNews 11.6.13, and WP Rocket Cache.
On the site I’m currently experiencing the issue, I’m still experiencing the issue even with PHP (8.3.26), WordPress 6.8.3, JNews 11.6.17, and WP Rocket Cache disabled. Even rolling back the PHP version didn’t fix the issue.
Hello rzrblds,
We sincerely apologize, but we currently don’t have enough information regarding this matter. If possible, please continue this conversation through the JNews support forum at the link below, and kindly include more details such as screenshots or a short video to help us better understand the issue.
Thank You
I am using your JNews theme on my website, and I’ve encountered a small issue with how external links are handled in the header and footer areas.
The Problem:
When I add an external link (for example, https://abc.com/directory/) to my header or footer, the link works correctly. However, when a user hovers their mouse over the link, the trailing slash (/) at the end of the URL disappears in the browser’s status bar preview. The displayed link becomes https://abc.com/directory.
This only happens for external links. All internal links on my website correctly keep their trailing slash on hover.
The href attribute in the HTML source code is correct and includes the trailing slash. The change only seems to happen visually on hover, which suggests it might be caused by a JavaScript script within the theme.
Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Taken:
I have checked the JNews Theme Options, particularly in the Performance, SEO, and Advertisement sections, but I couldn’t find a setting that seems to control this behavior.
I have also tried deactivating other plugins to check for conflicts, and the issue seems to persist, pointing towards the theme itself.
Could you please advise on why this might be happening? Is there a specific feature or setting in JNews that “normalizes” or processes external links that I can disable?
My goal is to have the external links display their full, correct URL (with the trailing slash) when a user hovers over them.
Hello Anonyviet,
We have checked the issue on our side but couldn’t replicate or find the same problem.
For further investigation, please create a new support topic using the link below.
Kindly include a more detailed explanation along with screenshots and your site URL so that our support team can better understand the issue you’re experiencing.
Thank You
look at your demo page, other links with domain also do not have / at the end Your link: https://preview.themeforest.net/item/jnews-one-stop-solution-for-web-publishing/full_screen_preview/20566392
Image: https://i.ibb.co/23F0gQx7/2.jpg Image: https://i.ibb.co/dsCY5XpP/1.jpg
Hello Anonyviet,
Upon further inspection, this issue is not related to the Demo or the JNews theme. By default, browsers will remove the trailing slash at the end of a domain when the URL does not contain any path.
To confirm this, you can try creating an HTML file that contains a URL link without any path.
Thank You
Hello!!
I have a question with Autoptimize cache size. My site is using Autoptimize and WP Super Cache plugins. Curently the Autoptimize cache size is up to 1.13 GB. Is this a problem? if so, how to fix it?
Regards
Hello dddownloads,
Yes, it’s normal for the Autoptimize cache to grow over time, especially if your site frequently updates or serves different versions of CSS and JS files. Each time Autoptimize re-creates optimized files (for example, after a plugin update or when cache changes), the old cached files remain stored until they’re manually or automatically cleared.
That’s why the cache size can increase — even up to 1 GB or more — depending on your site activity and the number of visitors.
You can safely clear the cache from Autoptimize, and it’s a good practice to do this occasionally to keep the cache small.
Thank You
After the last theme update, I cannot update the JNews Essential plugin anymore (and nor the WP Bakery composer). I tried in each way, I deactivated all other plugins, reinstalled the theme… nothing: pushing the Install button does nothing. I don’t understand this error, as I have this theme for years.
Practically, I cannot even see the JNews Essential plugin in the plugin list (because it cannot be installed).
Hello eddietone,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.
Could you please try installing the plugin from the Plugins menu available in your JNews Dashboard?
For more details, you can refer to our documentation at the link below.
Installing Plugin – JNews Documentation
We hope this helps.
Thank You
Well, THIS is the problem, that I cannot install the plugin from the Dashboard. I push the install button, it seems to install but after the op is complete, nothing happens: the button Install is active again. This happens with WP Bakery Visual composer also.<be> Is there a place where I can find the plugin and install it manually, in the classic way?
Hello eddietone,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please let us know your system configuration, such as your WP Memory Limit or PHP Time Limit? It’s possible that the execution time or memory usage during the plugin update has reached its limit, causing the update process to fail.
You can check your system status from the “JNews -> System Status” menu. If there are statuses marked in yellow, you can increase them — for example, raising the WP Memory Limit from 40MB to 256MB or higher.
If you have already ensured that your system status meets the minimum requirements but are still experiencing this issue, you may continue this conversation with us via email. You can contact us through the Contact feature on ThemeForest available on the Author’s page.
We will be waiting to hear back from you.
Thank You
I cannot add a picture here, but in the System status, all seems to be ok (all is green).
Hello eddietone,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. For now, you may continue this conversation via email. For the images, you can share a Google Drive link or attach them in your next email reply.
We will be waiting for your next update.
Thank You
Hello Jnews, AdBlock to understand ???
Hello sourds1970,
Could you please let us know which part you do not understand regarding AdBlock?
AdBlock is an element used to display advertisements on your website. For example, you may visit the link below.

Hi, Yoast SEO cannot read subtitles from posts. It says my post doesn’t have a subtitle.
Hello revistaalternativa,
Could you please clarify which Subtitle you are referring to? If what you mean is the Meta Description in SEO, you can try adding an Excerpt to each of your posts.
How to create a good meta description – Yoast
We hope this answer helps.
Thank You
Hi, subtitles from Jnews singles Posts.
Hello revistaalternativa,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. Where would you like to place the subtitle? If what you mean is the Meta Description, you can directly modify it in the Yoast SEO settings. For more details, you can refer to the article below.
How to create a good meta description – Yoast SEO

I’m having a challenge with getting one theme working. I openned a ticket here: https://support.jegtheme.com/forums/topic/error-with-new-installation-of-jnews/#post-161484
Hello makhatemg,
Our support team has replied to you in the support forum, and we hope you can check it again.
Thank You
Alright, thanks
You’re welcome!
It’s honestly disappointing how reluctant you are to add proper RankMath support, despite countless comments and support requests from your users.
Right now, JNews only integrates with Yoast and NavXT. For anyone using RankMath, we’re forced to edit theme files just to disable breadcrumbs and schema—something that should be a simple built-in option. This is not acceptable in 2025 when RankMath is one of the most widely used SEO plugins.
Why are you ignoring your customers on this? RankMath support should already be a core feature, just like Yoast and NavXT.
I’ve been using JNews for many years, but unless this gets addressed soon, I will have no choice but to switch to a theme like Astra that actually listens to its users and fully supports RankMath out of the box.
Hello royalmice,
We sincerely apologize for the delay. We follow a series of steps when applying fixes or feature improvements before releasing them in the JNews theme.
Your previous request in the support forum has already been received, and our team has completed the requested feature. Before it can be included in a JNews update, it must go through additional quality assurance (QA) checks. At the moment, there are still several items pending review.
We kindly ask for your patience a little longer until this feature is available.
Thank You
Could you please give me some indication of approximately when the feature will be released? My support subscription has expired, and I am reluctant to renew until the RankMath option is integrated with your breadcrumbs and schema settings.
I just need a rought indication : week, weeks, months, years
Hello royalmice,
We sincerely apologize for the concern you have experienced. We are planning to release an update for the JNews theme within the coming week, and this feature improvement will be included in the next update.
We kindly ask for your patience until the next release.
Thank You!
NO worries, i will wait for the update, thank you.
Thank you for the update, which now includes RankMath breadcrumb support.
Hello royalmice,
You’re very welcome!
We’re glad to hear that you’ve received this feature
Thank you so much for all your appreciation and support up to this point!
I cant activate the theme. Error API
Hello clientes23,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response.
For this question, could you please create a new topic in our support forum?
Our support team will assist you further in resolving this issue.

Magnific Popup: „Important note This jQuery plugin is deprecated, only critical or security bug fixes will be released in future. Use native <dialog> element if you need a basic dialog/modal/popup, or my PhotoSwipe library if you need an advanced image gallery”.
Why are you still using Magnific Popup, for example for the login screen, when it is deprecated? It poses a security risk and is already incompatible with WP Rocket.
Hello rankingexpert,
We are still maintaining both our theme and plugins. Everything included, including the Magnific Popup library, is also being properly maintained.
Do you happen to experience any issue related to Magnific Popup?
Please note that Magnific Popup is still being maintained with regard to bugs or security issues.
“only critical or security bug fixes will be released in future”
If your issue is specifically about Magnific Popup not being compatible with WP Rocket, we would recommend reaching out to the WP Rocket team first regarding the issue you are experiencing.
Thank You
Jun 8, 2024. It’s been a year and a half since the last update. I can’t believe there’s no other up-to-date and more secure plugin in the entire WP ecosystem, yet you’re using something that’s been practically deprecated for two years.
Feb 20, 2016. The previous update, also related to security, was on February 20, 2016. Updates are released on average every 8 years. Do you think this is enough to ensure the security of JNEWS users?!
Hello rankingexpert,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response.
Once again, we would like to assure you that we maintain all the code within the JNews theme along with its plugins and libraries. We always sanitize and escape every input and output as part of our security practices.
Do you have any specific security concerns, particularly related to the Magnific Popup library?
If you are experiencing a security issue, please let us know by sending us an email along with a Proof of Concept (POC) that demonstrates and explains the issue. This will help us address it more effectively.
Thank You
I appreciate your efforts and expertise, but there’s no way such a plugin could be secure. Experts detect 99% of threats, and portals like Wordfence Intelligence are full of hundreds of examples of even large development teams failing to detect threats.
https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel
Notice that issues reported on GIT have remained unanswered since October 2024.
The situation is similar to selling a new car with used, rebuilt tires that don’t come with a warranty. You can assure them that you’ve inspected them and they’re safe, but they’re used, old tires that could burst at any moment.
Hello rankingexpert,
From our investigation so far, there are currently no known security issues related to this matter. Could you kindly provide us with a more detailed reference link regarding the security issue you mentioned?
If there is indeed a security issue within the Magnific Popup library, we CAN and WILL update the library’s code or change the library to resolve the issue.
Thank You
We don’t understand each other. You don’t have the resources to detect threats in a third-party plugin. Even large specialized teams such as CVE don’t detect them.
Example. The latest bug in Magnific-Popup 1.1.0 was detected after… 9 years. Version 1.1.0 was released on February 20, 2016, and CVE detected the threat on July 3, 2025, even though a fixed version 1.1.2 had been available since June 8, 2024. To this day, thousands of websites still use 1.1.0.
It’s a simple thing. You sell a good product, but its Achilles heel is Magnific-Popup, which is DEPRECATED! You should look for another solution that is not DEPRECATED. That’s it!
Hello rankingexpert,
We will review this again and take the update into consideration.
Thank you very much!
I’m having trouble changing the logo size. It’s too small on both desktop and mobile.
Hello rabeloalexandre,
For this question, you can create a new topic in our support forum. Our support team will be glad to assist you further there.
Thank You
Is it possible to have different logos for each category?
Hello gustavomolinari,
Do you happen to have any reference regarding that feature?
Thank You
I have mentioned this before. Since the version 11.6.8 was released. I was getting the error “An error occurred while updating JNews: No upgrade package available.” and your suggestion was to manually download it and upload the new version and this is what I did. But there have been months, 8 updates since then and I keep getting the same error when updating. Can you give me an answer why this is happening and how you are planning to solve it? I have bought your theme 4 times, 1 site has been deleted, 1 site I am not administrating so I don’t know if this happening but on the other 2 it is happening.
Hello papadio,
We sincerely apologize. Could you please continue this conversation by sending us an email? We may need some additional information about your site to address this issue. You can use the Contact Author feature on ThemeForest to send us an email.
Thank You
