The theme is great and it loads fast. The only problem is that the Tours Post type don’r work well with translations, specifically with Polylang. It’s missing the code that gives the language attribute to it.

If you would like to reset your site or transfer your license from one website to the other you would need to disconnect the license on the first site first, and then activate it on the second site. There is the disconnect button at BookYourTravel > License screen.

As you know I’ve been using BookYourTravel for few years now, and I want to raise a broader concern that goes beyond a single bug.
Recently I experienced repeated server instability and discovered that the theme generates a large amount of PHP warnings and deprecation notices on modern environments (PHP 8.2+ / WordPress 6.x). On PHP 8.4 this resulted in massive debug log growth (tens of MB) and contributed to hosting instability — even without any fatal errors my site was inaccessible several times.
The issues I’m seeing include:
PHP 8.1+ / 8.2+ deprecations (dynamic properties, passing null to functions, etc.)
WordPress “_load_textdomain_just_in_time called too early” notices
Heavy, unoptimised frontend patterns (especially gallery display)
Core features that require significant custom code to modernise or optimise
What concerns me most is not a single warning, but the overall maintenance direction of the theme:
- Modern PHP versions surface many legacy patterns
- Performance optimisation requires custom code outside the theme
- Simple UX or performance improvements (gallery, asset loading, conditional logic) require manual overrides
My questions for the team:
- What PHP versions is the theme currently tested and supported on?
- Is there a roadmap for modernising the codebase (PHP 8.2+, WP 6.x best practices)?
- Are there plans to address known performance and usability issues, such as:
ex: the gallery implementation, which is heavy and not performance-friendly,
ex: the extensive use of tab layouts (which hide content and are no longer used in most sites anymore),
ex: the availability management system, where vacancies must be added and removed line by line — workable for a small hotel, but impractical for properties with many rooms and seasons,
ex: and the general content presentation, which is not optimised by default and feels outdated compared to modern WordPress standards?
I’m asking because, improving performance and basic UX requires a lot of custom code, and as it stands, running the theme on a modern WordPress stack requires a lot of defensive work and custom patches, which isn’t ideal.
I’d appreciate clarity on whether a modernisation effort is planned, or whether users should expect to continue working around outdated design choices and content presentation that feels outdated compared to modern WordPress standards.

A month ago, we were seeing PHP notices and deprecation warnings originating from theme files not WP. We are currently running PHP 8.x and as of today, we are still seeing PHP notices and deprecation warnings originating directly from the theme files, for example:

Notices and deprecation messages that may appear on newer PHP versions are not critical errors and do not affect the normal operation of the theme. Some are not even theme related as explained above.
We continuously maintain and update the theme. If any issues arise that impact functionality or compatibility, they will be addressed through regular updates.

Progressive pricing on the other hand, is unforunately not available.
You can however, discard the native booking system and use a 3rd party solution of your own if you so prefer.

all the active plugins were bundled with the theme, i have not installed anything that didn’t come with the plugin. What i did not install was elementor as I am comfortable with WPBakery page builder. Even when i go to the plugin page, I am not able to select any as am not able to check the boxes though out the site completely

the theme comes with iCal export feature for synchronizing availability and bookings with third-pary OTAs. You can export these files to an external calendar.
Any other import functions to the theme itself would require theme customization.

Long time no speak. I’ve recently updated both my live and development sites, and noticed the following issue that appears when I deactivate the Child Theme and activate the Parent Theme:
• On the Location page template, the rating stars display vertically instead of horizontally, which breaks the layout of the short description in the accommodation list widget. In WPBakery editor preview the stars display correctly (horizontal), but on the front-end view they appear vertically, breaking the short-description layout.
This means the problem is not in the widget itself but in the CSS loaded on the public page for that template — most likely from .stars i { float: right; } in lib> style.css (v8.19.59) – parent theme
The same float rule does not load in the WPBakery preview, which is why it looks normal there.
Could you please review and confirm if this can be corrected as soon as possible?
Additionally, I’d like to remind you about another long-standing issue I’ve reported several times: when logged in as an admin, the short description> accommodation displays incorrect font colors, creating a visual inconsistency that does not occur for normal visitors.
I haven’t renewed the support fee because I believe these issues originate in the parent theme itself and therefore should be fixed as part of a regular update, not a paid support request.

Hi again, the issue still exist. I have uploaded new theme update. I have updated my files. I have deactivated all plugins. I have activated parent theme. And issue still exist. I have many pages using location template with accommodation list widget. All popular pages that visitors see all broken for a while now affecting my average engagement which has obviously dropped. And is not only this issue. You have issues for many months without resolving within the backend display with admin login. Particularly affecting the accommodation overview description and short description displaying font in a grey colour and not black as set. I have reported this long long time ago and no fix. I don’t see why I have to pay for support constantly when these are not my issues. I have tried to communicate with you via the link you gave me but never heard from you.

In the Room Types documentation, it indicates that there is a CONTENT tab, which does not exist in my template and demo. everything that you see on our demos is included in the package you receive. Please check if you havent accidentally disabled the Content areas at Appearance > Theme Options > Accommodations.
According to the screenshot there also seem to be some typos present, which are not there by default which indicate a change in theme code. Have you edited the theme files in any way?

I haven’t touched anything, the code, nor have I even touched the theme’s settings. I haven’t done anything other than import the demo and start working on the design. Now that I wanted to start adding the rooms, I ran into this problem and couldn’t move forward.

The truth is, using these kinds of templates that don’t work from the start, and then having to request support to fix these kinds of details… I cannot wait for a response from the support team; that slows down the integration of the template. Please process my refund.

The last versions of the theme are causing issues with Elementor. The images are so wide and go outside their containers. I see the comment just below me also complained of the same issue. This is a Book your Travel issue because the images become normal when we switch to a normal theme. I updated the Book your Travel theme to the latest version v8.19.58 but this issue is still not solved. I updated via Appearance>theme options>Database upgrade.
How can this be solved because it has been a persisting issue.

There’s a recurring issue with my website. Almost every time I visit, the site either loads as a completely blank white page or displays with severe problems: photos appear oversized and out of place, the overall page design becomes messy, and in many cases, images don’t load at all—only their alternative text is shown.
This issue began with update v8.19.55 and has worsened after the last two updates. To temporarily fix it, I have to clear the cache and cookies multiple times a day, but even then, the site often doesn’t work properly.
I haven’t added or changed any plugins before or after this issue began, so I’m confident the plugins are not the cause.

the theme is fully compatible with the latest PHP versions. For issues related with your server environment it would be best to contact your hosting provider in order to be able to check the logs and see what the underlying issue is.
Since you are using an optimization tool make sure to purge all cache after updating as well as clear your browser cache and cookies.
Temporarily deactivating plugins and customizations should also be helpful.

I’ve tried every possible troubleshooting step, and my hosting provider has also checked all files. They confirmed that there are no issues on their side.
Since the release of version v8.19.56, I’ve noticed a huge increase in cache/minify files, which keeps growing with every new update. In the last three updates, the situation has worsened, the website pages no longer display correctly (design, images, text, and menus are all affected).
after clearing the cache, the site works for some time, then after less than 1 hour, the problem comes back!
This clearly indicates that the problem lies within your template coding or the way the template handles customization, especially since no major template updates have been released for a long time.
Please note that I have already: Disabled all plugins Cleared all cache Reinstalled the template
Yet, the issue persists. This proves the problem is with the template itself.
This is urgent, the website in its current state is unusable, and it directly affects my work. I need this issue resolved as soon as possible.
