Hi, I really need your help with an issue happening on my WordPress setup.

Normally, the system should take the user who made the purchase, identify the plan they bought, collect the plan variables, and then store all of that in the database so the user can have access to the plan afterwards.

However, in my case, this action is NOT being triggered at all, and we have no idea why. The plan is purchased, the payment is completed, but the assignment process never runs.

Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know what could prevent this action from firing?

Hello Listeo Support Team, I hope you’re doing well.

I’m currently experiencing an issue with the Listing Packages on my website. I created two packages a Free plan with a limit of 5 listings and a Pro plan with a limit of 20 listings but they are not being assigned to users after purchase/activation.

Even though everything seems correctly configured in WooCommerce and Listeo, the system is not recognizing the package and is not applying the listing limits to the user’s account. I’ve already reviewed the product settings, package type, and integrations, but the issue still persists.

Could you please check what might be causing this and guide me on how to fix it?

It appears that the core search functionality is not working as expected because the theme does not use proper geolocation logic when users search for place names. The search currently depends only on text matching instead of resolving geographic coordinates and returning listings within those bounds. This causes valid locations to return 0 results, even though listings exist in that region. Adding a full geo-location–based search is essential to ensure accurate and reliable results for users.

Please tell me when you are going to add this so that the search functionality will start working fine.

I hope you’re doing well. I am facing two major issues related to Region archive pages, search behavior, and filters, and according to your documentation, these are not standard functionalities — which means they likely require fixes on your end.

Issue 1 — Region Archive (/region/asia/) shows 100+ listings, but Search for “Asia” shows only 1 listing

This region displays 100+ listings, which is correct.

But when I type “Asia” in the search bar and perform a search, it returns only 1 listing.

Your documentation explains the reason:

The region archive is based on taxonomy (Region = Asia) → shows all listings assigned to that region.

The search bar treats “Asia” as a geolocation search, and Google Maps API geocodes “Asia” to a single point, then searches only within a radius around that point.

This results in only 1 listing being shown, instead of all region listings.

Requested Fix

I need a consistent and intuitive behavior so users receive correct search results.

Ideally:

✔ When the user searches “Asia”, the system should first check whether a Region taxonomy with that name exists. ✔ If a matching region exists, the search should automatically return all listings assigned to that Region, ✔ Instead of limiting results to a geolocation-based radius search from a single point on the map.

This is critical for usability because users naturally expect that searching “Asia” should show all listings available in Asia, just like the region archive page does.

In simple words: When a user searches “Asia”, the search results should behave exactly like the /region/asia/ page and display ALL listings assigned to the Asia region.

Issue 2 — Filters on /region/asia/ do NOT filter within that region; instead, they reset to global results

When I am on a region page (e.g., /region/asia/) and apply filters (price, category, features, etc.):

❌ The filters do not apply only to listings inside “Asia” ❌ Instead, the entire website’s listings are filtered globally ❌ The region context is lost completely

Your documentation states:

The search form currently performs a global query.

To filter inside a region archive, the search form must automatically pass the region taxonomy parameter.

This behavior is not available by default and needs code-level adjustments.

Requested Fix

Please update the search/filter system so that:

✔ If a user is on a region archive (e.g. /region/asia/) ✔ All filters automatically include that region taxonomy ✔ Results stay scoped to the selected region ✔ Filters refine within the region, instead of resetting to global listings

This is essential for user experience and consistent filtering behavior.

Why this needs a core fix

Both issues impact all Listeo users who use Regions:

Search results become incorrect or misleading

Region filters do not behave as expected

Users cannot refine listings inside regions

It breaks the core Region functionality

These problems make the Region feature incomplete without custom coding.

Please advise on:

Whether you can provide a patch or update to fix both issues.

If temporary code snippets can be applied via theme child functions.

Whether this will be included in an upcoming release.

These are important usability issues for directory websites using Regions, so your quick attention would be greatly appreciated.

There is a problem that I want to solve by any means. On the login screen, I have enabled registration via social media (Google and Facebook), but when registering and selecting the “Owner” type, the account is created, yet the role is always set to “Guest” no matter what. I want the user to choose their role first, and then when they register, the account should be created based on their selection.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to pass “role” option with the social site registration, you can only set it to use default role, and in Listeo Core -> Registration you can allow option to change role in My profile page so user would be able to change his role to owner there.

Hello, I’m trying to understand how the locations work. I would like to use this in different countries in a region. When a customer uses the mobile or website to search a particular location, would that location be saved so that when he returns to the app/website, listings in those locations display by default? Also, can different currencies and/or payment methods be set up across the different countries?

Multicurrency / payment methods – yes in checkout, since we use woocommerce to handle payment you can achieve that with tweaking woo. One thing regarding multicurrency – on front-end it has to be 1 default currency and the only place where it could be converted to other will be cart/checkout

I want to ask about the recent update for Zoom integration, how does it work with hourly booking? for hourly based services, zoom is integrated for the specific time slot? and how is the timezone configured?

What about, am I able to have a “Buy Now” button on my classified listings? Where each listing can choose to have a “Buy Now” button if they want to actually sell their products and not just a “Claim This Listing” or “Request Pricing” button?

The reason I’m asking is ultimately, I want to use a “Make Offer” button on the classified listings and allow a user to send an offer to the lister and the lister could either accept or counter-offer the request..and the user/requester is sent a “Buy Now” link to the woocommerce checkout page to purchase the item.

I know you don’t facilitate the “Make Offer” portion, I just need to know if I can add a the Woocommerce “Buy Now” button to each classified listing?

I’m reporting an issue we are experiencing with the Listeo theme search filters, specifically with custom fields.

Issue Summary: When a user selects a custom field (for example, Lodging Type → Hotel), the search correctly returns all listings that match the selected field. However, once the results are displayed, the filter dropdown resets back to “None”, even though the search tag above the results correctly shows the selected filter.

Because of this, the interface gives the impression that no filter is selected, which is confusing for users.

This seems to be a UI state issue where the selected custom field is not being persisted after the search results load.

Generally for bookings the prices should be set as excluding tax, and the tax is added in the checkout, that’s how it works for all booking types currently
