Hello, This feature isn’t available in our theme, so listings cannot be duplicated from either the admin side or the host side. Can you charge a listing fee for some categories and not others?

Hello, You can apply listing fees within your listing type. Any listing created under that specific type will automatically have the listing fee applied. The admin can create as many listing types as needed.

h4 for modules still appear, that are not good for SEO in listings. I try to find them out at under the plugin: routiz/inc/src/listing/modules/

Why does I see under html so many javascript and h2 tags (at least 14 h2 tags) after undate theme to the newest versions?

Hi, what do you mean with this?

“2.4.0 – 17 Oct 24 NEW. Now user can do live chat from the message tab in frontend dashboard.”

I tested a previous version of 2.4.0 (2.3.1) and the newest (3.0.0) and nothing seems to change with the chat. Still the same chat and doesn’t look live a “live chat” (I opened 2 windows with 2 different users sending messages each other and you need to refresh the page to see the other user answer… so what do you mean with “live chat”?).

It’s a validation message it’s not the verification. It’s shows when users enter a wrong format of phone number in fields then it reflects validation message

1. Does the theme have a guest checkout — where users can book or pay and an account is created automatically? Answer: No, the theme doesn’t currently support guest checkout for bookings.

2. Can I use both monetization options — host fee and service fee — together? Answer: Yes, you can enable and use both monetization options simultaneously.

3. How do you enable VAT? Answer: At the moment, there isn’t a dedicated VAT option. However, you can create an extra service and manually add a name and price for VAT if needed.

4. Does your iCal send bookings from the theme to other OTAs like Airbnb, and also import bookings from them? Please explain how your iCal works. Answer: Our iCal system can import bookings from other OTAs. You can add your iCal link to your website, and the booking calendar will automatically sync with the external platforms. Please note: Your website cannot send or update bookings to other OTAs — syncing works only one way (import from other OTAs).

5. Is there SMS or email verification on signup? How does it work? Answer: Currently, there’s no built-in SMS or email verification feature in Brikk. You can, however, integrate third-party plugins for this purpose. Our support team can also help replace the default booking form with your custom form.

What happened to the standard method of uploading images? Now, when someone clicks “Upload Images,” it brings up a WordPress media-style popup. Previously, it was much better — users could simply select the photos they wanted to upload directly, instead of using the WordPress admin-style upload interface.

I understand the value of being able to reuse previously uploaded images for creating new listings, but at the very least, if that popup were styled to match the theme instead of looking like it’s from the WordPress admin, it would be much better.

Is there a way to revert to how it worked before the last update?

Hello, Yes, this change was implemented to allow users to easily reuse images they’ve already uploaded, making the process more convenient and efficient.

However, if you’d prefer to revert to the previous upload method, please raise a support ticket — our team will restore the old functionality on your website. Please note that reverting it will disable the option for users to reuse previously uploaded images.

Hello . I have noticed that if I put closed on Saturday and Sunday in the open hours section for a listing, people can still book weekend. Is there a way to sync the booking form to the open hours?

Also, is there a way for people to choose when there listing starts from? At the moment it runs from the date the listing is posted to end of the plan.

Is there an availability calendar?

What if they only want to rent Their house on weekends. And they choose a 5 day plan? They would want the property showing as available of the other days and they would want to pay for those days

The opening hours and the booking system are not linked, which is why users can still make bookings on days marked as closed in the opening hours. To prevent this, listing owners can go to their frontend dashboard and block specific dates in the calendar when they don’t want to accept bookings.

Is there an active buy and sell listing site using brikk? would it be nice if there’s a buy now button and listing owners can tag the listing as Sold once someone bought it- or automatically tagged as Sold.

Hello, Yes, you can check our live demo. The booking system is available and automatically blocks booked dates or appointment slots (if the appointment module is used) for other users once a listing has already received a booking.

how about for non-booking listings? I mean, the website will have 2 listing types: For Rent and For Sale. For For Rent listings, the booking system can be used. For For Sale listings, it would be nice to have Buy Now button and changed the listing status to SOLD or draft once the item is ordered. Is it possible with this theme?

Hello, There is no direct selling option available for listings. However, there is a feature that allows another user to purchase or take ownership of an entire listing. Once a user becomes the new owner, a “Business Owned” badge will appear on that purchased listing.

Hello, Currently, there is a profile button that can be added to the sidebar of each single listing page. This button displays the user’s profile, where visitors can view all listings posted by that particular author.
