I’m using the Qwery theme (ThemeREX/AncoraThemes) on a WordPress site and I’m experiencing a strong CSS conflict with Fluent Forms Pro.

Site: chestnyznak.com.tr Form plugin: Fluent Forms Pro Affected form: the main contact/lead form (Fluent Forms indicates the selector prefix .fluent_form_3)

Issue summary (front-end):

Button / submit styling issues

The form buttons (especially the submit button) look broken/inconsistent with normal layout.

Hover/focus states appear abnormal and the button sometimes looks “over-styled” or overridden by theme button rules.

Phone input (country code UI) takes up ~half the field width

On the phone field, the country code / flag selector area expands too wide and covers nearly half of the input.

As a result, the actual typed phone number looks partially hidden or as if there is not enough usable space to type.

This makes the form feel broken and reduces usability significantly.

Important detail:

The exact same Fluent Forms form works normally (buttons and phone input layout) when I switch to another theme. So the issue seems to be related to Qwery’s global form/button/input styling.

What I found:

Qwery generates a CSS file with global selectors such as input[type=”text”], textarea, select and input[type=”submit”] and applies typography and styling via CSS variables (theme-font-* / theme-color-*).

This appears to override Fluent Forms’ intended styles, especially for advanced fields like the phone input with country code UI.

Troubleshooting attempted:

Added custom CSS at the form level (.fluent_form_3 …) to override/normalize input and button styles.

Cleared cache / regenerated theme CSS (ThemeREX/Qwery).

The issue persists unless I aggressively reset styles for the form elements.

Request: Could you please advise the recommended way in Qwery to prevent theme-wide form/button styles from overriding third-party form plugins (specifically Fluent Forms Pro), ideally with:

A theme option to exclude or reduce global input/button styling for specific containers, OR

The correct “safe” selectors / CSS approach recommended by Qwery for isolating third-party forms, OR

A known compatibility fix/snippet for Fluent Forms Pro phone field (country code selector width).

If needed, I can share:

A page URL where the issue occurs (on chestnyznak.com.tr)

Screenshots / screen recording

The exact CSS rules that are overriding the phone input and buttons

Please note we do not guarantee full compatibility with the 3rd-party plugins. But please try to wrap your Fluent Forms shortcode in a dedicated container, e.g.:

Then add CSS rules to reset Qwery’s global styles inside that container:

Hello! I’m facing a strange problem. Although I updated everything, including the theme, I still have the message Theme update available. Current version: 3.6.0 -> Latest: 3.6.1. Even more bizarre, in the themes it shows me that there is an update available but the theme is updated. Am I missing something? I did the update both from the site and then from the theme downloaded from Theme Forest. Thanks!

Hello, we use the theme without any problems and everything is ok, but now there is a small issue. Maybe we do something wrong and don’t understand, but don’t know: when we try to change the footer layout in the correct section (theme layout), we can’t see anything. There are 10 total layout pubblished and 1 in draft, but we can’t see or modified them. Have you ever see a similiar bugs?

You can definitely continue working with the current setup. Qwery is still a powerful and well-supported theme, and its section-based structure works perfectly fine with Elementor. The newer container system offers more flexibility, but it’s not something you need to switch to right away – your site will continue to function and look great as it is. At some point in the future, we may look into converting parts of the theme to the container system, but there’s no specific timeline for that. For now, you can safely keep everything as it is and introduce containers only when they make sense for new layouts.

For one of my projects, the site needs to be container-based rather than section-based. Currently, everything works fine, except when I need the container to be full width. It doesn’t work. Qwery has a global setting that can “force” a maximum width on all content, regardless of Elementor settings.

Go to Appearance > Customize > Body > Layout.

Check if the Content Width is set to “Boxed” or has a specific pixel value (like 1200px).

Ensure it is set to Full Wide.

Hello, The issue is most likely caused by renaming the main theme folder. ThemeREX Addons checks the theme’s original folder name for permissions and registration, and if it doesn’t match, WordPress may block access and show the message “You are not allowed to see this page.”

Please rename the theme folder back to its original name. This should restore access to the ThemeREX Addons settings panel and allow activation.

You can install the theme on your test/development server for testing/development purposes. As soon as the project is ready for moving from dev server to the main domain (create the backup to be on the safe side), please disconnect the license from staging domain and activate the theme on the live domain. You can have ONE active theme installation at a time (development or main). Development installation will still be functional, except for importing/exporting demo data and installing updates. You can perform all other tasks there without any issues. Moreover, you can easily transfer the license from your production site to the development one and back again at any time, if needed.

Please update bundled plugins using Themerex Updater plugin. After the plugin installation, navigate to Appearance -> Themerex Updater and enter your purchase code. Then you can update the plugins in the Dashboard -> Updates, just scroll down to section Active theme components: Plugins.

Hello, I need to change layout from “burger” – can’t find it. At layouts at one page are some burger samples, but none is the correct one which is set up at the header. Vertical one in black. Have to change Logo, Menu and additional information, e.g. links.

Theme version: 3.6.1 and ThemeREX addons Version 2.36.2.1 – both up to date, however now I cannot edit any page (Elementor Edit doesn’t open). I had to turn on Safe Mode to troubleshoot but if I disable ThemeREX addon, the Elementor Edit opens. Likewise, if I install Hello Elementor, the Elementor Edit opens… Please help. If you want to use simple text/image or shortcode (like grid gallery, mailchimp form, etc.), just omit this step. 2. Add a new Elementor Page Builder section to the page. In the left panel with Elementor elements open the “ThemeREX Addons Layouts” group, drag and drop the Layouts widget from the panel into your section. Select the desired widget’s type (popup/panel) and custom Layout from the dropdown list (Layout field) or enter simple text/shortcode/image from the Media Library in the Content field (if “Layout” option is set to “Use content”). 3. You may navigate to Edit Layouts > Advanced tab to enclose the elements with paddings or set the background image/color. In the widget’s settings under the Content tab, Popup (panel) ID field, assign the ID to your popup/panel, e.g.: example_popup.

In your section “about us” from the standard template there is also a popup-video. It works fine on the same page.

Yes, you can import them separately. You should go to Theme panel → Demo kmport → Partial Import and choose specific pages or sections from another demo. Or, in Elementor → Templates → Saved Templates, you can import templates manually (downloaded from another demo).
