Regarding the dropdown background issue: If the color becomes transparent after refresh or when switching variants, it is most likely related to cache. Kindly:
Clear your site and browser cache
Disable any caching/minification plugin temporarily
Test the site in Incognito mode
For listing submissions, you have the following options:
Submit listings via the frontend submission form
Add listings from the WordPress backend
Bulk import listings via CSV

I am having hosting with hostinger. I downloaded your latest theme and installed there. But I am not able to import content. I am getting 500 error in console. The procedure first starts with “Compatibility Test” and later it fails with 500 error. Do I have to do anything on my side?

This is not a compatibility issue with the theme. A 500 error is a server-side issue, usually related to hosting configuration, PHP memory limits, execution time, or security rules on the server.

You can enable it from theme options> advanced filters> near by.

Please note that having spaces after PHP closing tags does not cause backup errors. We’ve been developing and maintaining themes for over a decade, and we’ve never encountered such an issue reported by clients due to this reason.
The problem is most likely related to another issue in your backup process, server configuration, or plugin conflict. We recommend checking those areas, as the theme files themselves are not the cause of this error.

We are using updraftplus to backup sites. May be you can try to use updraft plugin. It will give you warning.
Also, I see spaces at the start too. After downloading the theme and unzipping it, I see this issue in some files. May be I shall send you exact file name.

This issue usually occurs due to a missing or invalid map API key. Please go to Theme Options > Map and add your API key there.
If you don’t want to use Google Maps, you can simply select OpenStreetMap and keep the default key as it is. This should resolve the overlapping fields issue.

Is it possible to completely remove Google Maps options. But I want to use lat and lang feature only. Is that possible?
Yes simply go to your WordPress dashboard> theme options> map> select the open street map from here.
But, even after that, i see Google Address in the listing editor. I mean map pin field. I do not want to use map pin field.

first i need to buy the script. i have read things about the demo content importer and i dont need another project that starts with a lot of troubleshoting first.
and is there anywhere a working demo of the restaurant menu input fiields and userflow? i used the instant demo but there you dont get the right restaurant site rendered and on your own demo site.i dont see any menu fields when i try adding a listing. another question would be if i can have the restaurant version looking like classic2? and is it possible to mix restaurant and event fields on the same detail page? thanks
Hi, thanks for your questions.
By default, the event system can be displayed on the detail page, however currently there is no option to add custom fields along with it on the same detail layout. The restaurant menu and events are managed after listing submission from the user dashboard. From there, users can add and manage events, and menus can be uploaded either as images or listed as individual menu items.
The instant demo access is provided only for testing purposes, so some configurations may not appear exactly like a fully set up restaurant site. At the moment, mixing restaurant and event custom fields on the same detail page is not supported.

thank you for clarification. i didnt mean custom fieds on this. so all fields from all demos except the 2 premium ones can be used on 1 live site? like i can build one site with events, menus and so on with the classic2 template without any custom fields? thanks
im asking bcs its a bit confusing in the demos. for example, on classic2 if you add a listing you have all those, menu, events and so on options but you dont have any classic2 demo listings showing events or menus on the details page and you also see a warning in the dashboard if you try to edit menus it says this package hasnt that option included?? thanks

Please don’t get confused by the demos. All demos come with the same core features and functionality. You can use all available fields (events, menus, etc.) on a single live site, except for the two premium-only demos if mentioned.
The demos are provided only as different design/layout examples, not as limitations on features. There is no feature-based restriction per demo. Whatever you see in one demo can be achieved in another demo as well.
The warning you’re seeing is related to demo presentation or sample data, not actual functionality. Upon installation if you will see any warning you may reach out to us we can disable them. You are free to build your site with Classic2 (or any other demo) and include listings with menus, events, and other options without using custom fields.

I am currently experiencing serious issues with this theme on a live site.
Environment:
WordPress 6.9
PHP 8.1
Latest Elementor (free, no Pro)
No cache plugin in use
Problems:
Elementor throws PHP fatal errors (Class not found) when saving pages.
Initially this happened only on the homepage, but now it also affects other pages.
Errors are clearly visible in the server error logs and are not cache-related.
Switching to another theme immediately resolves the issue with the same setup.
Support suggested a workaround (clearing page content and restoring it), but this is not a real solution and is not acceptable for a production site.
This appears to be a theme-level compatibility issue with recent WordPress / Elementor versions. Until an official fix or clear version compatibility is provided, I would advise caution before using this theme on new projects.

And the code ffs, I wanted to change font color in an elementor widget, your theme just overwrites my font color in the button, now I have to do it with CSS.
And again, on page creation, turn page header on or off, had to remove that with CSS too.

About font color and typography:
Please note that ListingPro uses three typography layers — WordPress core, Elementor, and ListingPro theme typography. To maintain design consistency across the site, ListingPro theme typography is prioritized and loaded from theme code files. While it is technically possible to enable Elementor typography fully, it is not considered a good practice as it may cause inconsistency and styling conflicts across pages.
Concerning the page header on/off option:
At the moment, removing the header is not supported by design. The theme uses two separate headers — one for the homepage and one for inner pages. Disabling or removing the header would disturb the overall site structure. Additionally, nonces are generated in header.php, so removing header functionality can break core features and security-related processes.
We understand that CSS workarounds may feel inconvenient, but in these cases, they are currently the safest and recommended approach.

The latest downloadable version of the theme is 2.9.9 instead if 2.9.10. Another user a few ago reported the same issue. Also the visual composer is outdated within your theme. When will it be updated to the latest version?

Sorry to say, this isn’t possible to transfer directly. The “Accepted Insurance” section is a MedicalPro-specific feature, and MedicalPro is not just a demo of ListingPro—it’s a separate solution built on top of ListingPro with its own custom post types, fields, and logic.
Because PlacesPro and Classic 2 New demos don’t have this underlying MedicalPro structure, the feature can’t be moved or enabled through a roadmap or simple configuration. If MedicalPro were only a demo layout, it would have been easy to reuse—but in this case, it requires custom development.
If you’d like to replicate similar functionality, you’ll need custom work. For that, we recommend contacting wpvender.com, as they can assist with custom development based on your requirements.

Hi support! As we do not want to use Google maps at all on the website, I choose OpenStreetMaps under Theme Options > Map and I also choose to enter Search Manually, not Autocomplete by Google. I deleted the Google API key as well. Now on the submit form there is still the Tab Search with Google and Drop Pin. Both are not working and give an error, so of course they should not be there. How to delete this? And also: due to German GDPR I do not want to call googlemaps at all, as this gives a red mark. I need to get rid of all google maps related. How to deactivate all google maps related calls? I no, my support expired – I will not buy a new one again, as google maps should be deactivated automatically when I choose Openstreetmaps.

I see 90% of the users have problems with basic demo import include my self. No explanation why maybe the import is not working i don’t see any of this but a create a ticket?For a new customer this is not acceptable.. We want to clarify that there is no known issue with the demo import in the theme. Whenever users face import-related problems, it is almost always due to server resource limits or third-party plugins active on their website. These factors can block or interrupt the import process.
Regarding your case, our support team must have requested your website details so they could check what exactly is happening on your site. We can only resolve issues once we have access to review them. In all our experience, we’ve never had a customer come to support and leave without a successful resolution.
Also, it’s difficult to claim the theme is “full of bugs” without even completing the import process. If the demo isn’t imported due to server restrictions, the theme cannot be evaluated properly.
We are absolutely here to help you and ensure everything works smoothly. All we request is that you give our support team a chance to check your setup—whether it’s a server limitation or a conflict with a third-party plugin. So far, no error has ever been reported in the demo import functionality itself.

Dear ListingPro-Team, I would like to ask whether your Directory Plugin offers the possibility to add an individual legal notice (Impressum) for each entry. In Germany, every listing partner is legally required to provide an Impressum. This means that the mandatory information (name, address, email, VAT ID) must be entered separately for each partner. Does your plugin already support this functionality, or can such an option be easily implemented through custom input fields? Thank you for your question.
At the moment, ListingPro does not include a dedicated “Impressum” feature. However, you can absolutely create custom text fields (such as name, address, email, VAT ID, etc.) using the built-in custom fields system. These fields can then be displayed on each listing individually, which fulfills the legal requirement for partners in Germany.
The only limitation is that uploading documents (PDF, files, etc.) is not supported through custom fields by default. For document upload functionality, custom development work would be required.
But for standard text input like email, address, legal information, and IDs—you can easily add all of these through Custom Fields without any issues.
