I know that it would be enough to change the generic theme of the posts to be displayed in that section, but it doesn’t work. - Change the date in the post, indicating it as in Europe (05.10.2025 and not 10.05.2025 – for 5. october 2025).

I have a few questions, in addition to the email I sent you which has not been replied to.
1) I wish to change the link color in my post from red to a color of my choice, specifically to match my overall color theme. Where can I find this setting and how can I accomplish it?
2) Despite labeling nearly all my posts as ‘FEATURED’, the FEATURED post is not appearing. There is nothing showing up in that section at all.
3) Next to ‘MUST READ’, there is a dropdown menu. How do I customize its background color? I’m unable to find this option in the ‘advanced customization’ section.
I have reinstalled the theme 3 times in order to correct the issues, but when one is solved, another one occurred.
Please mention your blog address so I can take a look at the issues and help you fix them.
As for featured section, Note that labels in blogger are case sensitive so featured and FEATURED are two different labels. Use featured with all lowercase.
For LInk colors, go to Theme > Customize > Advanced > Link Color. Make the change, then click the save button. Open the blog in a new tab and changes will be reflected there.
If you have to change the menu background color we need to paste the code in CSS editor. Like this –
Go to Theme > Customize > Advanced > Add CSS
Paste the below code –

Finally press the save icon on the bottom right corner.

I left the ‘featured’ as it came with the theme originally. I did not do anything to it, so I expected it to function as required.
I did change the link color but it did not change the links in the post. It only changed a few of the links like the ‘next story’.
How do I add videos to the video section? There’s no instruction for that.
How do I disable the dark theme, change the link color in the dark theme, and disable the top menu date as well?

Just added the label name featured to the post you want to feature. How will the theme know what you want to add in featured section unless you add the label.
Video you can add by clicking the video icon in the post editor toolbar. It’s a blogger function. Then to show that video post in a video section, simply add the label name ‘Videos’. Please read the installation guide that came with the template. It has all the instructions. If you are new to blogger, please take a few minutes to learn about labels and widgets.
To disabled date and dark theme switcher you can change their color to be same as background color. Or if you want to completely remove it, go to theme > customize > advanced > add CSS

Finally press the save icon.
It seems that you are new to blogger, please take few minutes to learn about it. Once you know few basic concepts like labels and widget, etc it will be very easy to setup
I have 12 posts with ‘featured’ label on them. In fact at a point I deleted other labels from 5 posts and replace them with ‘featured’. Still nothing showed up. I’m also aware of the problem with case sensitive, I experimented with both uppercase and lowercase, still nothing showed up.
Look at the blog footer, you will see the number of posts labelled ‘FEATURED’
No, I’m not new to Blogger. I’ve had that blog since 2012 and had no problems until now. I have switched browsers to determine the problem, it seems to work better on Microsoft Edge. Now, I can upload the video but the rest are still a problem.

Make me admin then only i will be able to edit it. Also there is no issue to resolve, i will just remove all the labels named ‘FEATURED’ and then add the label named ‘featured’.
There is another option too. In layout, open the featured widget and replace featured with FEATURED. This way you don’t need to edit post labels.Basically, the name in widget has to match the label names.
Hi, I’ve replaced the ‘featured’ widget with ‘FEATURED’ and it seems to have worked now. If I make you admin, will you resolve the other outstanding issues raised… like the links color in the posts area, the dark theme, etc?
By the way, I have just posted a video and it showed that you’re the ‘AUTHOR’ and I’m not showing up anywhere at all. Does this mean if I make you an admin you will takeover my blog? I’ve heard stories of account takeovers by other people.

It’s showing as mine because i created a draft to test something and then you used that you created the post. If you are not comfortable then don’t make me admin.
Already asnwered about dark mode, as for color – pick your color and let me know i will share the code to add.
I didn’t know that the draft was created by you. I usually create draft posts myself and I thought it was one of them until I published the post. I believe I can still change it over to me when you are no longer an admin/author?
Or if you can share how to fix the widget so that I can apply it in the future if it happens again in addition to the dark theme, etc.

Ok, thank you. I changed it from lowercase [featured] to uppercase [FEATURED]. But i’d like to know how to keep it at lowercase without defaulting to FEATURED. This way, I won’t have to bother you for help.
Please update the Twitter/X widget. I tried to put in X, but it did not show up. Rather it came with an error.
Also what I need to know about the link color change. I’m being consistent with the colors that I’m already using and I would like to keep the links the same color, and thanks for sharing the code do do so.
Blogger labels are not part of the theme. They are a feature of blogger and hence un-related to the theme. If you want to use featured in lowercase, just remove the label ‘FEATURED’ from every posts and then add featured in smallcase. That should work. Till you already have a uppercase FEATURED label, blogger won’t allow you to add a lowercase.
There is no twitter widget for Story mag theme. If you are facing issue with any third party widget, please contact them for help.
As for link color, as i already mentioned before, please share with me what color you want to use and i will provide you with a code to change that.

TOC is not part of storymag theme by default. You can follow some tutorial online and add it. As for natively supporting it, I might add it in the next update.

1. The Disqus comment box is still not showing even though I have followed the instructions.
2. The Twitter share button and the social media icons need an update, especially for Threads and X (formerly Twitter), can we have an update on this?
3. In the Latest Posts section, is there any option to change to “Grid view” by default instead of “List view”?
4. Can I exclude a specific label on the “Latest Posts” section? For example, I want the “AI Generated Images” and “ChatGPT Prompt” tags to be hidden/not showing on “Latest Posts” as they already have their own place on the homepage.

You seem to be talking about Unnao theme while you have purchased story mag theme. Please read Storymag documentation and see the Demo to know what features are available in Storymag theme.

As for code block, you just need to wrap your code with pre tag. And it will work automatically. Go to ‘HTML View’ in your post editor and add <pre> before the code and </pre> after the code. So it looks like this – <pre>some code</pre>
To add some basic styling. Go to Theme > Customize > Advanced > Add CSS
Paste the below code –

It’s not added by default because it’s a big script and most people don’t need it. You can follow any online guide to add it. All online guides will work on this theme.
