Hi, we recently purchased this theme. When we go to make a album listing page, we notice that there is none. You created static album list on the home page but there is no page to just show the albums. Is there something we are missing to accomplish a Artists page? If not, please issue us a refund for your demo was misleading making us think there was a Albums listing page. Thanks!

I’m not sure I understand your original question, then. It appears that your album posts (release or gallery?) are not displaying on your page. Be sure to set a featured image for each post, as only the posts with a featured image are displayed from the page builder release or gallery widget. Also, be sure to check your cache settings.
About displaying custom post types from different taxonomies: You can either use the page builder widget and select your desired filtering in the “Query” tab (https://d.pr/i/OANOnC), or directly use the WordPress taxonomies in your menu. https://d.pr/i/thSNmgI hope it will help.

This theme only has a Releases. In Releases posts there is not categories established. So if you wanted to created a category called Albums you can select albums under the releases dropdown in Menu and it will just show the releases that are albums(Multiple). If we create a category called singles we can select Singles(Single songs) under Releases dropdown in menu and it will show only single releases. Same for instrumentals, compilations, soundtracks, etc. Understand now?
Please create Releases categories as soon as possible in a improvement update and allow for the Categories to be selectable under the Releases Setting > Query

Currently, the Releases post type only includes Labels and Bands taxonomies. Thank you for the suggestion.
While a more general category system could be useful, it is not planned for the near future, as it is not necessarily relevant for most use cases.

No disrespect but, it seems you don’t know your own theme. Under releases it has Artists, Labels, Genres, and Producers taxonomies. Yet inside of your Releases Settings with Wp Bakergy Grid under the Releases settings Query it only has options for Bands(mislabeled and should be Artists) and Labels queries. Why have taxonomies and only provide ability to custom query only 2 out of the 4, and leave the others out? Also any well made theme that creates taxonomies has listing pages to show them (All Artist/Bands listing page as Releases, All Labels Page, All Genres Page, This theme’s demo has been very misleading. Please add the missing taxonomies(Genres, to the query in a asap update. Labels need ability to sort in more detail. Thanks!

Indeed, you’re right! The available taxonomies are: artist (Band in the query tab), label, and genre.
So the “genre” taxonomy is not present in the query tab. The theme will be updated today to fix this.

If someone has a DJ (Artist): Producer Beatmaker site then they couldn’t properly showcase thieir DJ Artists with show/tour dates with associated DJ mixtape releases or listing pages for artists they produce with labels they are associated to. ... Also, We attempted to do a Artists listing page and the Artists taxonomy doesn’t have option to add the press image of each artist. If we want to easily list label artists on the label it only shows album covers. Its extensive work to keep having to use Visual Composer just to show static images with links. When you presented the theme, in the demo you made us believe that you have a artist listing feature but, when we setup we realized just used static images on the home page. Can you please make the necessary fixes to the theme for the Artists taxonomy image with alphabetical order listing and others?

I need to clarify a misunderstanding here.
Loud does not include an “Artists” custom post type or an artist taxonomy with listing images. This feature is not advertised on the product page and has never been presented as such.
In the demo, artists are showcased using static layouts (images with links) and artist sub-pages, which is exactly what the theme is designed for, for example, a small label or catalog site wanting to present artists manually. There is no claim anywhere that artists are dynamically generated, sortable, or taxonomy-driven.
Some of my other themes (such as Phase, Soundkraft, or Herion) do include a dedicated Artist post type with advanced listing features, but Loud was intentionally kept simpler and more flexible in that regard when it was released.
What you are requesting (taxonomy images, alphabetical artist listings, dynamic archives, etc.) would be new functionality, not a fix. Feature additions of that scope are not part of support and cannot be implemented retroactively into an existing theme.

If it could be used for label as is we would have bought it already, as well as over 1000 other people that bought themes like MusicPlay that has over 1400 sales. A label is not just some type of Tag they you use in your theme. Its the top hierarchy of content types. Labels > Sub Labels > Genres > Artists > Album > Single > Video > Events, etc.
This theme is a good start but its just mostly serves as a Artist based site with several templates names things like Label, Events, etc.
2. Music share embed player feature like streaming sites
3. Multiple labels tagging. See Musicplay.
4. Streaming player
5. and other modern music site features
Thanks. Embed music players and self-hosted playlists are already available. Transforming the playlist manager into a steaming player is possible and can be added.
I will think about how a multi labels hierarchy can be implemented that would work with all the post types that are already available in the theme.

Not just embed but styled and shareable like on SoundCloud and Spotify. There is no Label post type. Artists can be on more than one label. Most signed artists are signed 2 labels. The distributor label and the production label. Streaming/Distributor(s) post type is also needed.
Something stuck out with this theme i like – the Solo Artist demo, where you have a background IMAGE throughout the site. Can that be a background VIDEO and have more of a store layout items and be centered i assume? https://preview.wolfthemes.live/loud/main-home/solo-artist/

as you might know in EU we got special law where they say it’s prohobited to use google fonts, because it transfers the IP to google bla bla and that’s bad. So people made it their hobby to admonish people with lawyers. So, how can I use the google fonts locally with this template?

I was not aware of that. The workaround, if you think it deserves the hassle is to download the font on the Google fonts website and use a child theme to enable it.

Hi, I’m unable to install WPBakery Page Builder 6.9.0 (Appearance/install plugins) uninstalling 6.8 it always re-installs 6.8. When will you update the plugin to be downloadable within the theme. ?

I did uninstall and reinstalled it from the Appearance/install plugins path as already explained in my initial post. it only re-installs the 6.8.0 not the 6.9.0

still can’t update WPbakery/ I follow the exact instruction : To update the plugin, you can simply deactivate & delete the plugin from your WordPress plugin panel, then reinstall the new version via the “Appearence” > “Install Plugins” panel.

Hi Wolf Team, once again impossible to update Slider Revolution plugin. I’m on 6.6.5 and 6.6.8 is already out. I don’t understand why this can’t be a seamless update. Uninstalling the plugin and re-installing it should update it but it never does. I followed each step described on your website and it keeps installing the 6.6.5

Hey guys! My website was down for a bunch of months. I changed my hosting and am trying to rebuild it. The slider revolution is not accepting my license key. I’ve even tried logging into to slider revolution to import and de-register the license key in case it’s being used on a previous website through Envato (Code Canyon) but the license key is not visible on the slider revolution portal either. Can you please check into it and let me know the possible solution as to how can I get the Slider Revolution working on my Loud theme?

Hi! I have updated wordpress to 5.8.2 and Loud theme to 2.1.3. PHP version is 8.0.12. Howerver I get an error for Loud theme that it does not function with this version of PHP. I have also tried PHP version 7.4.25 but the error regarding PHP version for Loud theme is still present. The error was fixed when PHP is run as ‘FPM application served by Apache’ instead of ‘FastCGI application served by Apache’. Why?

Presale question: is it possible to change the hover behavior on page tabs in the header so that the text is underlined instead of a block? As in Herion.

Presale question : I’m having a hard time choosing between your different themes especially LOUD, HYPERBENT, KAYO and FIREMASTER. Are all the themes equal in terms of features ? elements ? Would it be wiser to invest in a newer created theme for a more up to date code ? I would choose LOUD as it seems to have everything I need but looking at it on mobile phone, it feels more laggy / heavier compared to HYPERBENT for example. Don’t get me wrong I think they all look amazing, I just want to make sure I invest for the future. What would you recommend ? thank you

These themes are built on the same core and share similar features. The main difference is the design so I would recommend choosing the one you like the most. Loud may seems heavier as homepages contain more images and content mainly.
