In this theme can we create Scrolling Catagory?

One thing I would love to see from the ThemeNectar team – especially for the Salient theme – is a beautiful mega menu plug in. This would top off everything I need for my site but I can’t find any mega menus that aren’t complicated, clunky or ugly.

First of all, congratulations on the theme!
We’d like to suggest a feature that would greatly improve workflow when working with rows and columns in WPBakery:
1. Copy & paste settings between rows or columns It would be extremely helpful to be able to:
Copy all visual settings from one row or column (background color/image, paddings, borders, border radius, shadows, overlays, etc.)
Paste those settings into another row or column
At the moment, when designing layouts with multiple columns that need to look consistent, we have to open each column and manually replicate the same settings one by one, which is time-consuming and error-prone.
2. Link columns inside a row (shared settings) Another powerful improvement would be the option to:
“Link” columns inside a row so that shared properties (background color, padding, borders, radius, etc.) are synchronized
Changing a value in one column would automatically update the linked columns
This would be especially useful for multi-column layouts (2–4 columns) where visual consistency is key.
We believe this would significantly speed up layout building and reduce repetitive manual work, especially for agencies and power users.

Hi Themenectar’s team, im trying with the new post loop builder vertical list. In desktop is working, the imagen following the mouse, but in mobile It appears almost in the upper left corner, revealing a vertex of the previewed image. Its any setting that i did, or a Bug? Any alternative to make it work on mobile? THNKS!

That’s a bug which will be fixed in the next release, thanks for reporting it.

Hi! When I import the demo, the entirety of the demo is not being copied over to my website. For example, only select text is being copied. No animation, no images. I have also noticed that the import does not go over 72 per cent. Please help?

Hi ThemeNectar, hope you’re well. I’m getting an error message when the Salient WPBakery Page Builder plugin is activated. I can’t access the sites page backend as I’m getting this error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 163840 bytes) in /home/u668906109/domains/mysitename/public_html/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2328 There has been a critical error on this website. If I deactivate the plugin, I can access the page but can’t make any changes.
The sites running 18.0.2, and the plugins also seem to be up to date. Can you let me know if you have any suggestions please.

Your server is exhausting the available PHP memory, which is causing the fatal error you’re seeing. The current limit is already set to the recommended amount (512MB), so this usually indicates that one or more third-party plugins, custom code, or a very large dataset is consuming excessive memory.
I recommend reviewing recently added plugins, and disabling a few third-party plugins, or increasing the PHP memory limit further if your hosting environment allows it.

Your theme is amazing, I just purchase this today, but a made a mistake, but I buy it for as we are running late on the project without reading that its only in WPbakery and my client only uses Elementor I got only one client after years, in the theme description also it is not clearly mentioned that it won’t work with Elementor, but honestly am telling you Salient theme is excellent but please accept the refund kindly help me.

Hi, about to purchase your theme but before we do – can you let me know:
1. if your folding/stacked cards effect can have the cards fade out (opacity drop) and scale down (get smaller) with scroll.
2. can row/1-col content reveal with scroll growing/scaling up from a set width or percentage to full screen.

1. Yes, Sticky Scroll Pinned Sections offer a Fade Scale option.
2. You could use a clip-path animation to achieve that effect; however, we don’t currently provide an option for that scroll effect to pin while it animates. Instead, it will occur as the page scrolls normally. You can see an example of this scroll effect in the following demo: https://themenectar.com/salient/saas/

Hi, I can’t find the text in the WPBackery RECENT POST widget button. The string is READ ARTICLE. I use WPML. I found a READ ARTICLE string, but translating it has no effect in Fontend; it stays in English. I also tried searching for it with Loco Translate, but to no avail. I’ve searched all the Salient plugins and theme files, but nothing.

My site has performance issues according to PageSpeed Insights so I have been working with ChatGPT to resolve it and have been able to make some strides, however, we can’t get the LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) improved after trying many things so here is the end result provided by ChatGPT. Hey ehong33234, v18 of Salient added the option to choose between a standard CSS background image and an HTML image output for this reason. There is also a global option for this in Salient Options → General Settings → Performance, called “Optimize Top-level Images.”

Hello friends,
the Salient Templates Button (usually above the page builder, next to Classic, Gutenberg, etc.) is not visible to me. I can’t access it.
It happened with the most recent update. I hope we can fix it. Please let me know where to look.
What I’ve already done:
- ensured the theme is up to date
- ensure all plugins or up to date (Salient Core Version 3.1.2)

Hey BernardZitzer, If you have enabled the Salient Custom Branding plugin, please check the Salient Options > Theme Features tab and make sure the “Hide Salient Studio Template Library” option was not previously enabled. If you visit the urls below you will notice I have a section called, “What’s Included:”. Under that are either 4 or 2 buttons which I need centre aligned. If the buttons are contained in a row and columns how can I make them centred aligned (side by side) while keeping the buttons the same width?

Hey Alan,
You can switch from keeping each button in its own column to using a single column (1/1), place all buttons inside it, and then use Flexbox → Horizontal Display → Center Alignment in the column settings. If you want to force all buttons to be the same width, you can create a CSS rule that applies a fixed width to each button.

anime.js v4 uses a different syntax and has a larger footprint, which would require changes to how the theme is loaded and increase the shipped file size. Since the theme doesn’t rely on any v4-specific features, we’ve chosen to remain on v3 for now to preserve compatibility and performance.
If I have updated to 18 but can’t import Harbor and the other new demos. What’s wrong then?
Hey johanborjesson, have you updated the Salient plugins as well? The latest version of the Salient Demo Importer plugin is required in order to access the new demos.

2. Please try disabling your SiteGround optimization plugin, along with any other CSS-altering performance plugins you may have active, to rule out a caching or optimization issue.

Thanks the solution to disable the siteground plugin was the cause. However, there is still a white space between the black footer and the black section above it, and I’m not clear what’s causing it. The background for each section is set to black now. No other page with the footer has this issue. Any idea if this is a user error or something else?
