We are actively working on resolving the issue, but the original reference on patchstack – https://patchstack.com/database/Wordpress/Plugin/bold-page-builder/vulnerability/wordpress-bold-page-builder-plugin-5-6-4-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability?_s_id=cve does not provide any details.
Thus we needed to contact the initial reporter to understand the context. We have done that, but no context has yet been provided. Please note that the initial report has been submitted on 21 Dec, 2025, long before the release of the current version so the issue is likely already resolved in one of the latest versions of the Bold Page Builder.
But, to definitely confirm it, we are trying to obtain additional details.
Also please note that the issue has been listed with low priority and no impactful threat – “This security issue has a low severity impact and is unlikely to be exploited”
Anyhow, we understand that the listing in Wordfence database represents reputational problem and as soon as we sort this out, we will notify you.

I know what the low priority and no impactful threat means, but I am not able to complete something I am working on while Wordfence is showing this vulnerability. I will have to keep checking in until the plugin is no longer flagged.

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, Oxigeno is not suitable for multiple sports as it does not feature custom post types which would cover this. In theory you would be able to set up a multisport site, but as Oxigeno layouts are built as static pages with customized page elements it would be hard to maintain it efficiently.

To be honest, we do not understand what Elementor hosting means 
Just as Elementor, Bold Page Builder is a WordPress plugin. You can have both Elementor and Bold Page Builder installed, in a WordPress instance, but you can not use Elementor for editing pages on our themes, so we recommend you deactivate it.
So If you have switched WordPress hosting to one which comes with preinstalled WordPress and Elementor, you should deactivate Elementor and install the Oxigeno as per instructions: https://documentation.bold-themes.com/oxigeno/getting-started/

I just noticed that on smartphones, blocks that are on the same row are not spaced properly (when they should be displayed one under the other), see image…

Sure, you can add separators below the respective blocks which will be visible only on mobile view (hide them on desktop resolutions).
This is done in backend editor on Responsive tab of a separator element.

Yes… ok… this is the simple solution that works for columns with a transparent background. However, in these columns, there is a white background, and if I do what you suggest (I had already tried), here’s what happens… see attached image…

Then you can add two inner rows to a column, drag everything what you already have to the inner column of the upper inner row, drag the new separator to the lower one, set the white background to the inner column in the upper inner row and remove the background color from the wrapping column.
It should do the trick

It seems very complicated since I would have to apply it to rows made up of 4 columns, and from the explanation, I didn’t really understand how to do it… I was hoping for a working custom CSS solution, and in any case, the template should be updated regarding this issue… Could you show me an example with a backend image of what you’re suggesting? I would like to create tabs within the pages to insert specific posts.
I can’t find a way to do this with your builder, and I haven’t found an external plugin that works either. (I found a couple that only work with Elementor). Can you recommend a way?

Using Bold Page Buider’s backend editor you can easily add Tabs element to the page, then add Tab Items to the Tabs element and add Post Grids to Tab Items.

I have Oxigeno 1.3.6 and it only runs with PHP 7.6. As soon as I go to PHP 8.0 the whole site stops working. What can you do there?

Oxigeno 1.3.6 is fully compatible with php 8.x so, the problem might be something else.
First, check if Oxigeno plugin is also 1.3.6 If so, the best option is to take a look at your server php error log – it should clearly indicate the root cause of the problem.

We have just tested Oxigeno with php 8.1.23 and it works without issues. We were unable to recreate the problem you are having.
Are you using some kind of wp cli based environment provisioning system? The error you are getting does not seem logical as oxigeno_color_schemes function is being defined in theme’s config.php and is being called using filter in functions.php so it can not be missing at the moment when it is called.
Have you tried manually installing the theme within php8.x environment without using automated provisioning / cloning of the site?

I installed the theme about Add Design. Then I’ll see which plugins are needed for this. Just after installing the plugins, the error occurs. It’s strange that the installation under PHP 7.4 works perfectly.
I have now set Lima City to PHP 8.1, then this error occurs. On all-inclusive I still have PHP 7.4. Everything works there. If I now change the PHP version to 8.1 or 7.4, one works and the other doesn’t. It must have something to do with the PHP version. I have the same results with 2 hosters with the 8.1 and 7.4 PHP versions. esvwhv.4lima.de (PHP 8.1) gym.esvwhv.de (PHP 7.4)

Your error screenshot is referencing code from the theme, not the plugin, so if the error report is correct, the error has to happen as soon as you activate the theme, not after the plugin installation.
What is even stranger is the fact that none of the other users of the theme have reported the similar issue. In our development environment everything works as expected on all versions of php
Can you contact your hosting support and see if they have some idea what can be the issue?

I have Oxigeno and Wordpress 6.4.1 installed. As soon as I want to activate the plugins for Oxigeno, the whole site crashes and I can no longer get into the admin area and the homepage no longer works.

It seems that you are currently running a theme version which is not compatible with the WordPress version.
You need to update your theme to the latest version.

Updating the theme to the latest version should resolve the issues. Once you update the theme, make sure to update the Oxigeno plugin and Bold Page Builder as well.

Working my way through the documentation. It’s a little rough around the edges, especially on the demo content section.
It’s gotten better over time and I’ve made really good progress. I noticed that the website is horribly sluggish on my 300+ Mbps connection so something is definitely not going well. But if I can figure out this speed issue, 5 stars for sure.
