“I noticed that the 2025 demo (the new 2026 theme) seems to be importing the old landing page design. Is there an updated version I should use?”
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Please update to the latest version of Ohio and the new landing page will be available for import.

The Colabrio Team
Hello, I really love your work. I purchased the OHIO theme and developed the site in PHP 7.4 on a subdomain of the hosting where the site was being replaced, because the theme on the main hosting domain was old and no longer supported. The migration went well, without problems. I updated the hosting PHP to version 8.2 and the site works fine, without problems. The issue is that with PHP 8.2, WP Bakery doesn’t work (it doesn’t appear) and I can’t edit the pages. To do so, I had to revert to PHP version 7.4. Is there anything that can be done to overcome this issue? Is there a future update planned for the bundle to correct this situation? Thank you very much. Regards,
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
WPBakery works on PHP 8.4 when we test it in our testing environment. To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:
Deactivate Third-Party Plugins:
Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for WPBakery and the Ohio theme. If the editor begins working, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify which one is conflicting with PHP 8.2.
Check for JavaScript Errors:
With PHP 8.2 active and the WPBakery editor open, right-click on the page, select Inspect, and go to the Console tab. Look for any red error messages, which can help identify the specific file or plugin causing the conflict.
Adjust Server Settings:
Increase Memory Limit: PHP 8.2 can sometimes be more resource-intensive, or the editor may simply require more memory to load. Ensure your PHP memory limit is set to at least 256M in your wp-config.php file: define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
Clear Caches:
After any updates or changes, clear your browser cache, WordPress cache, and any server-side or CDN caching (e.g., Cloudflare).

Hi there, i have been trying to edit pages with Elementor, and Elementor has not been loading. I even tried enabling safe mode, i uninstalled all the plugins and its still not working. Please help
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
If Safe Mode didn’t do the trick, it usually indicates a server-side limitation. Please try increasing your PHP Memory Limit to 256M in your wp-config.php file. Additionally, go to Elementor > Settings > Advanced and enable the “Switch Front-end Editor Loader Method”. If the issue persists, let us know your PHP version, and we’ll dig deeper.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
My PHP memory limit is 1024M and I have already switched front editor loader… It’s still not working.. My PHP version is 8.5.4

Hi guys,
I just installed a fresh WordPress and installed the Colabrio Demo 30, but there are lots of pages missing, etc. It seems the demo is incomplete. Can you please check this? Thanks.
Sorry, Demo 27 Corporate not Colabrio Demo 30
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Inner pages can be imported as individual demo templates:https://tppr.me/Yog68G
If you need all pages from the mega menu, you can install the All Pages demo.

Hi, I’ve bought and activated the theme. In the registration tab of the theme the license pill is green and look activated. Why do I have a slider on the top with Super Sale, enjoy 35% off or something? How can I remove it?
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Ensure you have the latest version of the Ohio Extra plugin. After updating, the banner shouldn’t be visible anymore.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Hi, I downloaded the whole folder. The extra plugin I got are
advanced-custom-fields-pro.zip js_composer.zip ohio-extra-v368.zip ohio-importer-v133.zip ohio-portfolio-v113.zip slider-revolution.zip
All of ‘em have been activated.
Is there something missing?
I even tried to delete and make a fresh install, this time I have dowloaded the plugin in the Install plugin page (before that I uploaded the zip files manually). Still the green scrolling advertising. How can I get rid of it?

Hello, is it possible to link services to portfolio/project?.. eg. i have service called chemical.. can I link several portfolio/project items to service chemical..so when I go to chemical service i can see and link to related portfolio/project items
Hi,
We appreciate you reaching out.
You can link any WordPress or external page to a portfolio project. Regarding the second part of your question, could you please clarify what you would like to achieve?
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Hi, thanks for your reply.. The goal is to set this up for building company who do different types of work (eg. kitchens, bathrooms).. there must be page for each of these things they do (aka services) where they have images and text explaining their general approach to each service.. Also, they have different projects with various customers for these services.(eg. a kitchen for customer A, kitchen for customer B, a bathroom for customer
. So the idea is someone clicks on kitchen services page and can also see and click the projects they did for this particular service on same page. Make sense?
Any thoughts on this.. I heard from another theme with answer below.. can you do the same? Do you allow custom categories which can be assigned to project and filterable portfolio element?
you can easily achieve this using “Portfolio Categories”. First, create a Portfolio Category named “Kitchen” in your WordPress dashboard and assign your related projects to it. Next, open your “Kitchen” service page with Builder and add a Portfolio element. Finally, in the left options panel, select “Kitchen” as filter
Hi,
Once you create your Service page and add your content using your preferred page builder (Elementor or WPBakery), you can simply include a Portfolio element and use the built-in filtering options to display the relevant projects only. Since you can filter items by specific categories (like “Kitchens”) or even hand-pick individual projects by name or ID, you have full control over exactly which work appears on each service page.

The Colabrio Team
Hello, Is it possible to set the Slider section as a carousel? I would like to display it this way on the homepage.
*portfolio section
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Do you mean using portfolio items inside a carousel? If so, you can find an example on the following demo page:https://ohio.clbthemes.com/service-ver1/

Hello, I purchased your theme for a friend, and I manage her hosting. The site crashes regularly with major display bugs. It works again when we switch to the main theme, then it crashes again, and when we switch back to the child theme, it works again. In short, is there any feedback we can provide without renewing our support request, because this seems to be a problem on your end?https://www.justine-labesse.fr/
Same problem than JULA 30
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Please check the solution we proposed to Jula30.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Lmao, this is the worst solution for pagespeed !!
I have over 100 websites running on this server, 90% of which use Elementor, and I only have this problem with your theme. Please find a proper solution.
We haven’t received any similar reports regarding this issue. As we can’t be responsible for troubleshooting child theme customizations, the problem may be related to your cache. Please temporarily disable your caching plugins and check if the issue persists.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
I am experiencing a serious stability issue with the Ohio theme.
Each time the CSS is regenerated or the theme is refreshed, the entire design breaks and loses its styling. The only temporary fix is to regenerate Elementor CSS, but the issue keeps coming back, making the site unreliable.
My license is active and the theme is up to date, so this is clearly not a licensing issue.
At this point, it does not seem acceptable to require paid support to fix what appears to be a fundamental stability or compatibility problem with the theme.
Has anyone else experienced this? And can the Ohio team provide a proper fix or guidance?
Hi,
This issue with Elementor CSS regeneration is a common frustration, often caused by file permission conflicts or caching layers. Since you notice the styling breaks repeatedly, the server is likely failing to overwrite the generated CSS files or is serving an outdated path.
Here is a potential solution you can try:
By default, Elementor writes CSS to external files in the /uploads/elementor/css folder. If the server has strict security or permission settings, these files can become “stuck” or corrupted.
Action: Go to Elementor > Settings > Advanced.
Change: Set “CSS Print Method” to Internal Embedding.
Why: This injects the CSS directly into the <head> of the page, bypassing the external file system entirely. It’s the most reliable way to stop the “broken design” cycle.

With the release of elementor 4.0 are we safe with upgrading elementor?
Hi,
We appreciate you reaching out.
We haven’t found any issues so far. All demo templates work properly.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Okay, can you all create a new demo for AI. Looking for some inspiration around that
Thanks for the suggestion
We’ve added it to our to-do list and will see what we can do about implementing it in the future.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
When we do a demo import, are the images also imported? Does it import the entire design we see, or are there just blank screens and text?
Hi,
We appreciate you reaching out.
You will get all the content from the demo. Only some premium fonts will be replaced with standard alternatives.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Could you please provide information about which fonts these are? Also, I missed the sale; could you give me a discount, perhaps a coupon or something?
Sure, here’s the list with demo templates where we use premium fonts:
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo4/homedemo4-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo5/homedemo5-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo9/homedemo9-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo18/homedemo18-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo23/homedemo23-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo31/homedemo31-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo32/homedemo32-elementor/
https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo35/homedemo35-elementor/
Let us know if you need the font name for a specific demo.
Also, I missed the sale; could you give me a discount, perhaps a coupon or something?
Unfortunately, ThemeForest does not offer the option to provide personal discounts.
In this demo, will adding extra sliders disrupt the page layout? I’ll be adding approximately 25 sliders when I purchase it. Will this cause any problems?
There’s no limit on the number of project items for this slider layout.
My last question. Can we first set up the website on xxx.com, and then, after completing the modifications, move it to yyy.com? Will we encounter any licensing issues? I don’t like localhost.
Yes, there is an activate/detach feature in the theme dashboard, so you will be able to transfer your license once your site is complete.

The Colabrio Team
Is the Mega Menu built into Ohio theme? How do you activate and use it?
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Yes, it does. Here is the guide on how to set up a menu:https://docs.clbthemes.com/ohio/getting-started/#creating_menu
To activate a mega menu layout for a specific menu item, you should enable the “wide menu” option:
https://tppr.me/qDD02y
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Does the mega menu also work for the hamburger menu? Like am I able to use the mega menu when opening up from the hamburger menu
Unfortunately, no, there are 3 hamburger menu layouts, so a menu with several submenu items will look like this: https://tppr.me/nX8noF
Hello,
I need your help with setting Blog Page editing.
I came across some error while editing my Blog Page. I would like to add background for Page Headline in the background. I do my editing all in Ohio -> Blog settings area, not in the page itself.
Everything works fine, until I set that Blog Page as a main Blog Page in WP settings (Settings -> Reading -> Post Page). After setting this up, my whole page headline just disappears (even title and subtitle). I tried different settings variations, but nothing helped. Other settings seems to be working, but not page headline.
Also, when I try to edit the Blog Page inside when it’s set as a main, I can’t save any changes I just get this error: “Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit the _elementor_edit_mode custom field.”
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out and reporting this issue.
I have forwarded it to our dev team for review.
We will keep you updated on their progress.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Hey, any news?
Hi,
1. Unfortunately, we haven’t found a workaround for that yet. The best method is to unassign the page in Settings > Reading.
2. WordPress restricts the editing of certain “special” pages (like the designated Blog or Homepage) via the REST API to prevent database corruption. Because you’ve told WordPress “this page is now a system archive,” it prevents Elementor from modifying the custom fields (_elementor_edit_mode) that identify it as an editable page.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Hey there, I’ve purchased the Ohio WordPress theme some time ago and really like the design and vibe. I’m working on a new project built with Next.js (not WordPress), and I wanted to ask if you offer a static HTML version of the Ohio theme or any kind of HTML/CSS export that I could adapt for my setup without taking so much time to convert it myself.
If not, do you have any recommended approach for using Ohio’s design in a non-WordPress environment?
Appreciate your help, thanks in advance.
Wes
Hi,
We appreciate you reaching out.
Unfortunately, we only have a WordPress version.

understand, thanks
You are welcome
Can’t even load the preview page. Not working on multiple browsers or phone.
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
It was a temporary problem, the site should load correctly now.

Still getting error – even after clearing cache – ohio.clbthemes.com took too long to respond.
Sorry to hear that. We were also experiencing the same issue, but the site seems to be loading correctly now.
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
It should function as expected. However, if you encounter any issues, we would be happy to assist or provide a full refund.

Bug Report — ohio_recent_projects: Portfolio Lightbox not working on frontend
I found two bugs in the ohio_recent_projects Elementor widget that prevent the portfolio lightbox from working on the frontend. No JavaScript errors appear in the browser console.
Bug #1 — Lightbox does not open (open button)
The function mapped to ohio:handle_portfolio_popup in main.min.js attaches the click handler only to [data-js="open-project-lightbox"], but the open button rendered by ohio_recent_projects only has the class btn-lightbox — the data-js attribute is missing.
Additionally, handler.js triggers ohio:handle_portfolio_popup only inside the isEditMode() block, so the handler is never initialized on the frontend.
Bug #2 — Lightbox does not close (close button)
Ohio’s close handler listens for [data-js="close-popup"], but the close button inside the lightbox popup has no data-js attribute at all. Only the ESC key works.
Recommended fix
- Add
data-js="open-project-lightbox"to the open button in the portfolio card template. - Add
data-js="close-popup"to the close button inside the lightbox popup template. - Move the
frontend/element_readyhook inhandler.jsoutside theisEditMode()block so thatohio:handle_portfolio_popupis also triggered on the frontend.
Temporary workaround (wp_footer)
add_action('wp_footer', function() { ?>
<script>
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
$('.portfolio-item .btn-lightbox')
.attr('data-js', 'open-project-lightbox');
jQuery(window).trigger('ohio:handle_portfolio_popup');
$(document).on('click',
'.project-lightbox .close-bar .icon-button',
function() {
$(this).closest('.clb-popup').removeClass('visible');
$('body').removeClass('clb-popup-opened');
}
);
});
</script>
<?php });
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Could you please specify the versions of the Ohio theme and Ohio Extra plugin where you found these issues? The required JS attributes are there, and the portfolio lightbox is functioning as expected:https://ohio.clbthemes.com/portfolio-projects-widget/
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Hi,
Thank you for your response.
The versions where we found the issue are: - Ohio theme: 3.6.7 - Ohio Extra plugin: 3.6.7 - Elementor
We understand the lightbox works on your demo, but on our installation the issue is reproducible. After investigating the source code, we found the following in ohio-extra/elementor/widgets/recent-projects/handler.js:
The call to jQuery(window).trigger(‘ohio:handle_portfolio_popup’) is wrapped inside an isEditMode() block, which means it never fires on the frontend. Additionally, the open button only has the class btn-lightbox but is missing the data-js=”open-project-lightbox” attribute that Ohio’s JS expects to open the popup.
We were able to confirm the bug by inspecting the generated HTML on the frontend — the attribute is absent — and resolved it temporarily with a wp_footer workaround.
Could you check whether this behavior differs between a default Ohio installation and one using Elementor Pro with a custom child theme? It’s possible the issue is environment-specific but the root cause appears to be in handler.js.
Best regards, Gianluca
Do you have a child theme? If so, try to disable it and check if the issue persists.
You were right, the issue was in our child theme — the template files were missing the data-js attributes that Ohio expects. We’ve fixed it on our end. Thanks for the support!
Glad to hear that!
Hi Dears i am creating the blog but how to set up the post to have the feature image in the header like this : https://preview.themeforest.net/item/ohio-creative-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/25193838
That’s the copy, please check the original inquiry.
bad experience, for connect the license,viia setting theme you have to renew the support,and its not work properly
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Your theme’s license never expires and can be activated after support period ends. Please provide a bit more detail so we can help you out.
Sincerely,
The Colabrio Team
Not for me, the green button to connect the license (wp-admin/admin.php?page=ohio_hub) , after register and accept terms and conditions the api evanto don’t reply. “Too many redirections occurs”.I clean the cookies but don’t connect.
Try using a different browser or an incognito window, as some third-party extensions may be causing the issue. If it doesn’t help, please send us a personal message and provide your temporary WP credentials.

Done, a Evanto problem, I disconnected the gmail account in Evanto licenses web page and finally I could update the theme- Thanks.
Glad to hear that you were able to sort it out.
