Hi, I have installed this theme a wile back. But now I have an issue with the language of the account-bar. All of the page is translated into dutch. Only the account-bar showing in the header is still in English. I tryed to change the account-bar.php in the xing/woocommerce folder, but this won’t seem to work. Can you tell me what I miss?

btw the site url is: http://www.airkayakshop.com
Hello eyes2you,
Thanks for purchasing the theme.
If using translation files, the shopping bag text is translation ready. You approach is also correct, and you are almost there. Just that it will be also required to make same translation inside xing/woocommerce/woocommerce-hooks.php, line no. 13. This code is used to update shopping cart with ajax. So, translation is required in these two files:
woocommerce/accounts-bar.php
woocommerce/woocommerce-hooks.php
I hope this will help.

Thanks for yor respond. But this ai’nt working. It still is showing in english..
Hello eyes2you,
Kindly send me your WP URL and login at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. Also send me the desired text to be shown on shopping bag. I will change it.

email has been send. Awaiting the result..:-)
Hello eyes2you,
I have fixed it.

Hello! Great theme. I’m also having issues with the blurring images. I really need this to work for a client as quickly as possible. No matter what size i make the image *800×800 it doesn’t work. And for some reason when I upload pictures, it doesn’t allow me to choose a thumbnail size like you described above.
http://devteam.blipp.caHello eugenelee223,
Currently, your thumbnail images are 150×150 and single product image is 300×300px. If the theme is installed after WooCommerce plugin, proper image sizes are set inside settings. If not, you can manually set this inside WooCommerce > Settings > Catalog > Image Options. Here, assign these settings:
Catalog Images: width: 240, Height: 999, Hard Crop: no
Single Product Image: width: 370, Height: 999, Hard Crop: no
Product Thumbnails: width: 90, Height: 999, Hard Crop: no
After changing the sizes, it will be required to regenerate thumbnails so that new sizes are generated.
For featured image size, as of WP 3.5, now the full size image is taken as featured image. So I think it shall only be due to Catalog image size settings. I hope that will fix the issue.

Hi! We love this theme it is very friendly to tweaks and customization. Is there some documentation available on all the shortcodes used in the theme? We can’t seem to find any in the documentation (that we’re aware of) and we’d like to see all of the options that are available for things like the carousels and such. Thanks!
Hello flashions,
Thanks for the purchase and kind feedback.
I haven’t included details on each short code parameter as they are already visible inside the option panel. For example, if you click on the slider short code, or the columns short code, a lightbox option panel will pop up. This contains various text boxes and drop-down lists for choosing available options.
Similarly, for carousel, if you click on the carousel short code button (in visual mode of editor), you will see parameters such as speed, easing, products type, etc.
A complete reference to shortcode parameters can be found inside includes/shortcodes/shortcodes.php file.

Hi , Is it possible to to place one big image in the header instead of the logo?
Hello ridder21,
Yes it is possible. The logo width is auto. You can upload or replace logo.png with a big banner image of same name “logo.png”. Next, it will be required to hide header widget area. For that, add this rule at the end of style.css file or inside user.css file:
.header-widget-area { display: none }
After adding the banner, it may require to adjust it’s margin and padding. For that, you can target the .brand selector. Or send me the site URL. I will check and suggest appropriate CSS.

Hi
Can i add the general description, additional info and reviews where the excerpt normally lives
Like this

Thanks

Hello Mark,
The link doesn’t seem to work. Do you mean shifting the entire tabbed content to the right side, just below product description? Or to hide the tabbed content completely on single product?
Regards
hi, try now, have removed the coming soon page
Hello Mark,
The Tabbed content (Description/Additional Info/Reviews) can be shifted to right side, just below the summary. If the summary part is empty, it will automatically appear below product title. For that, add this rule at the end of woocommerce/woocommerce-custom.css file, or inside user.css file:
div.product .woocommerce_tabs { float: right; width: 49% }
This may appear close to your requirement.

Hi, i have a problem with my catalog picture. why the picture blur at product picture? please help me.
Hello aliikhwan,
On single product, the picture size stretches to around 370px. Make sure the provided featured images is bigger than 370px. For example, upload an image of 640px width, and while setting as featured image, choose the “Full-width” option. May be you have chosen “small” or “medium” size while setting featured image. A full size shall display image in correct dimensions and quality.

Hi,
I am still researching but close to purchasing
Few quick Q if I may:
1) Can you add more images in the store section?
To display more angles or different sides of the products
or are we limited to only 1 image per store listing?
2) Can one add a video link inside of the description of the product for
sale? I know that we can’t put a video in the default image but
would placing an html video link in the description be an issue?
3) Can I display a certain kind of products on the right hand side
that would MATCH for example the CATEGORY of the blog article?
For example: is it possible to have each post/article and its category
linked to all of the PRODUCTS listed in the same category to show
up on the right when someone reads the article in any particular
category? Sort of customize products displaying on the right along
with the category of the article/blog or video on the page?
Thank you,
Very close to buying
Hello tms11,
Thanks for browsing the theme. Please find my answers below:
1. Yes, more images can be added to a product by attaching images to it through media library. For example, check this product. Multiple images will be only shown on single product display. Not on product archive thumbnails.
2. Yes you can add any type of link inside product description. You can add HTML too.
3. This one is a bit difficult. The reason is, products are Custom Post Types. Their taxonomy is product_cats, whereas a default blog has category taxonomy. They can’t be linked together. Further, exclusive sidebars can only be used for pages or posts. They can’t be assigned to individual categories. May be a link inside the post content itself can take to the product archive. Besides that, exclusive sidebar is difficult for product archive.
If you have more questions, feel free to ask. I would be glad to respond.

few little questions Saurabh,
After researching other posts here one should be able to make a buy decision based solely on your tech support response. you are awsome
1) I researched your other templates like VOLT, can I add similar advertising/banners sections like there? or should I say identical
?
2) Can I add a simple newsletter window to collect and sign up users for newsletters other the a full customer/login? any code or suggestion?
3) i use addthis.com feature to share blogs/articles, can one add the one that floats along the posts when you scroll down the page and it stays right next to the post (always visible?) here is the code. Just wanted to know if this can be added to the posts/site without an issue:
code: <!thanks!!!
about to buy
tms
Hello tms,
Thanks for the kind feedback. Please find my answers below:
1. Yes advertisements can be added inside any of the available widget areas. The theme supports widget areas in header (next to the logo), sidebar, and inside secondary area (just above footer). You can use text widgets for inserting advertisement images. If you wish to style them similar to volt ads, I will provide you CSS. There is one limitation though, you can not use 300px ads in sidebar, as the maximum width is 176px.
2. Newsletter form can be added using Contact Form 7 plugin. A short code will be generated, which can be placed inside a text widget in any sidebar. The theme supports form styling for this plugin.
3. Yes you can use addthis plugin. If you wish to add custom markup inside single posts, that can be done by modifying single.php file. In that case, the built in social sharing needs to be disabled.

Is it possible to change the amount of products it lists per page? It’s only listing 10 instead of 12 and not filling up the whole page.
http://www.repaircodingdesign.com/pdq/product-category/footwear/Hello Anthony,
Yes, that can be changed inside ‘Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most’. Change 10 to some other value and save settings. This will be applied to all archives.

I am trying to add product variations. I don’t see the variations tab under the products though. Is there something I need to add first?
What I am trying to achieve is different sizes, colors, etc. for different products.
Also I did go to Attributes tab and put in Size with different sizes. Still no variations tab.
Edit: Fixed.
Forgot to change to variable product.
Is there a way to change it saying “From” a certain price when all of the prices are the same?
Nevermind again… It’s only if you do an on sale price that it uses that.
Hello Anthony,
Thanks for solving the issues. At first, the variations tab seems confusing. But it gets clear as we use it more and more.

Hello,
First of all, I think the template has no issues whatsoever its a really great design and I love it.
I have a weird issue, My Woocommerce plugin is attached to the “Shop” page and it displays the products. My issue is that when I select “shop sidebar” and the “Shop” page clearly states to use that “shop sidebar” as a sidebar, it still uses the “default sidebar”. I can’t seem to make it work unless I remove WooCommerce from the “shop” page, that’s when the “shop sidebar” works. Any thoughts?
I’m new to Wordpress, maybe I’m missing something, though I have a few other pages with their own sidebars and I had no problem with those.
Hello neocorps,
Thanks for the purchase and kind feedback.
My apologies for this confusion, but exclusive sidebars are only for pages or posts. The Shop based page is actually a product archive, and it will use default sidebar. Other WooCommerce pages like single product and archives will also use default sidebar.
Exclusive sidebar may work if you create a custom page with products short code in it. For example, create a new page and add this short code to it:
[recent_products per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]
Do not set this page as “Shop” based page. The exclusive sidebar will work fine on it. But the plugin generated pages like Shop and default archives will use default sidebar. Even the non-woocommerce archives like category, monthly archives, author, search, etc. will use default sidebar.
Regards
Yeah after I posted this, I realized that was the case.
It sucks that archives can’t get their own sidebar.
Thanks for the response.
Hi Again, I have another question concerning the sidebar. I want the sidebar to be in the right side the entire website except on the Shop. I can do this if I assign the global sidebar to the left, and use the “right side template” on the other pages. The issue here is it doesn’t work on the Blog sidebar, I ether use a blog type template or put the sidebar to the right. is there a way to create another template that says “Blog – Sidebar right grid style” or something like that?
Hello neocorps,
Yes that can be done. By duplicating a blog template and changing the class name on content DIV. This can also be done by simply targeting shop page in CSS and move sidebar to the left. Other pages will use default right-sidebar alignment.
For the second case, add this rule at the end of style.css file, or inside user.css file:
.post-type-archive-product #content { float:right }
This will align sidebar to left on shop pages. On other pages it will be aligned as set inside global sidebar options.
Regards
Used the CSS hack and it looks great now!.
One last final question, What’s the recommended size for the logo?, The one I have it’s 252Wx128H and when it’s not in the boxed layout it cut’s like 30px from the top. I also noticed that in the Boxed layout the logo is not clickable around those 30px on the upper part only the lower part.
Thank you.
Another question, Hope you know how to do this, I added a background to my site, and it displays well, but I want to do something else here, you see, I have some collections (for example: Star Wars), and I used attributes to filter all of my star wars products so that when my clients click on “Star Wars” only those kind of products are shown. Is there a way to know when the client uses the “star Wars” layered nav so that I can use a Javascript function like
$('mybackground').css('background-image', 'url(' + imageUrl + ')');
Thanks.
Hello, I found another error, When trying to check the website on a mobile devise I get the “No CSS” version. What could be causing this?
Hello neocorps,
For both these issues, kindly send me your site URL. I will check the logo CSS, and also the “Star Wars” archive. Based on the body class of particular page or archive, we can target a different background image.
Regards
Alright, let me update it, it will take me a few minutes (I’ve been working locally)
Ok, You can access the website at this location: http://4dageek.com/
Here are the issues that I need clarified or resolved: 1) Logo is not entirely click-able (upper part seems to be behind a Div or something (around the letters “da”).
2) I’m using layered navigation for “Collections” so that users can filter the results by these. I want to change background depending on the selected attribute, for example “World of Warcraft” or “Star Wars”, I don’t know much about JavaScript but I’m pretty sure I can get a $variable and trigger a background change with a function like this:$('mybackground').css('background-image', 'url(' + imageUrl + ')');
3) When trying to check the website with my mobile devise I get a “no CSS type” of website, all the content is there, but no CSS styling, I tried it with an android 2.2, Iphone 4s, Nexus 7 tablet android 4.2 and same results everywhere, not on my usual firefox or chrome though.
Thanks.
I fixed #3 now, It seems that when I migrated from Localhost to actual live site, the url’s sticked with localhost, I changed that and it worked.
Hello neocorps,
1. For logo area, open style.css file or user.css file and add this rule at the end:
.brand { z-index: 9 }
2. For background, i tried wit the layered nav. Unfortunately, it doesn’t add/append any extra class name to body selector. Due to this, we can not target a unique background for each filtered result page. I will further search if there can be a JS solution.
3. Thanks for finding and fixing this issue. Much appreciated.
Regards
Thanks for the help, #1 and #3 fixed, as for #2 I think there should be a JS solution and it would be a nice addition to further releases of this Template (or any other), I’ve seen many websites do that background change depending on the brand you are looking at.
Hello neocorps,
That could be done if the brand/category archive is being viewed. If you see the browser address after filter results, there is an extra parameter, and not exclusive archive link. Due to that we can not target it using CSS. I will try with JS solution if possible.
Regards
I tried using a $_GET function in Javascript to fetch the filter, and I managed to do it, now I’m just having trouble modifying the background-image with Javascript. I used different methods but nothing seems to work, or mayble I’m just addressing the wrong class?
What do I need to do to manually change the background? is it the “body” tag?
Hello neocorps,
Since you were able to fetch the filter variable, you can add a unique class to body depending upon the filter. For example:
if ( filter_var == 'foo' ) {
$( 'body' ).addClass( 'foo_class');
}
elseif (filter_var == 'some_other') {
$( 'body' ).removeClass( 'foo_class');
$( 'body' ).addClass( 'some_other');
}
Next, inside style.css file, add background images for these class names:
body.foo { background: url( ... ) }
body.some_other { background: url(...) }
This is just a broad example, but if you got the filter variable, body class can be added and used as shown above. May be it will help.

Hello,
I have another issue, it may be some missconfiguration or something.
My “Blog” page is using the “Default Sidebar”, now since I’m using the Default Sidebar for my “Shop” I get the wrong widgets. I tried assigning a sidebar for blog but that doesn’t work. I tried installing woosidebars plugin that promises to work but still no go.
Any advice?
Hello neocorps,
Exclusive sidebars have some limitation. They can only be used for pages or single posts. If you have created a blog page using a template, make sure this page is NOT set as “posts page” inside Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays > A Static Page. Here, “Posts Page” should be left blank.
If that doesn’t work, kindly send me your WP login and blog page URL at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. I will check and fix it.

Sorry for the late response, I will be trying that “exclusive sidebar” problem next week.
How can I change the width of the Search Product widget? I messed up a bit with it via CSS but I can’t seem to get it the way I want it. I just want the input searchbox like 400px wide. Thanks!
Well, I fixed the exclusive sidebar problem by doing what you sugested, thanks!
I still have the issue with the Search Product Widget, I can’t change it’s size, I want to change it because I’m adding the “Dave’s Wordpress Live Search Plugin” and It shows somewhat wrong.
Hello neocorps,
If the search products widget is used in sidebar, it can only have the maximum width of sidebar, which is around 176px. If using this widget in header widget area, I can help with increasing it’s width. For that, kindly send me your site URL at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com with the widget enabled.
Regards
That’s exactly where I want it, in the header widget area, let me send you an e-mail
Hi, yes its me again haha.
I’m having a conflict between Yoast SEO social plugin and Xing social plugin, you see, I want to have the like buttons in my blog posts but I don’t want to use the “og:” meta tags that Xing adds when I activate the social buttons. Normally I would like Xing to do that for me automatically but I’m administrating all that with Yoast SEO Social plugin and so, I have two og:url that causes a conflict with facebook.
My question is, how do I disable Xing’s social plugin from posting the “og” meta tags?
Hello neocorps,
As you are already aware. The og tags are used on single posts for proper sharing of Facebook. If you are generating those tags with plugin, you can disable them inside functions.php file:
function add_facebook_open_graph_tags() {
...
}
Disable or delete this function. After that, no meta tags will be generated on single posts.
Or if you disable Facebook sharing button from Appearance > Xing Options > Single, it will not generate the og tags.
Regards
Thanks!, the problem is that I want the facebook sharing button but I don’t want the og tags. Will try this today!
Hey, i am using your theme on my site http://www.thehappybike.com and love it. But a quick question, is there a way to make a product listing a list instead of a grid? Thanks!
Hello pawelgra77,
Thanks for the purchase and kind feedback.
The list view on products is not available by default. But the theme supports woocommerce-grid-list-toggle plugin. I hope this will help.

Hi SaurabhSharma
the latest version of wommerce seems to have completely broke my site www.national-print.com can’t seem to find a way around this any ideas can’t get into the admin panel either
Hello vaughi28,
The latest version of WooCommerce is running fine with WP 3.5 and current version of the theme. I have been testing it very often.
It seems one of your plugins got a conflict. The only way to access your admin is to log in to your FTP, and rename plugins folder as plugins.temp. Next, try to access login URL and check the site. Once logged in, again log out and rename plugins.temp to plugins. Next, access this folder via FTP and delete any newly updated plugin. For example, woocommerce, or any other plugin which you recently added or updated. I hope this will help.
Regards
Ah just seen this but you were correct plugin conflict, although once installed I got them all back in without any problems thanks for your help great as usual
You’re welcome.

Hello,
I have one blog category showing on the home page and the pagination at the bottom does not link to more posts, instead it links to the posts already on the home page. Can you tell me how to fix this?
http://www.so-gnar.comThanks!
Victoria
Hello Victoria,
Pagination on blog and archive templates works fine on Home page too. The Paged variable is properly set for it. This might be caused due to one of the plugins. I just checked the source code and found “number pages and posts” plugin. You can try by disabling this one. If it doesn’t work, kindly send me your site URL and WP login at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. I will fix it.
Regards
Thank you so much! I did not build this site originally, my client did, and I totally forgot to look at what plugins they had installed. Thanks again!!
I deactivated and removed the plugins and the pagination on the home page still does not work. It works on blog pages but not the home page. I will email login information.
Hello Victoria,
It was a facebook plugin. The next/previous query variable or the paged variable gets some conflict with this plugin. Deactivating it has solved the issue. For reference, these variables are WordPress specific, and may get same results with a twentytwelve theme too.
Regards
I want to buy this theme, but I have 2 questions. Can I use the woocommerce compare products plugin with this theme? Is there any option to put rating stars under photo? Thank you,
Hello tomaionut,
Thanks for browsing the theme.
It supports WooCommerce Compare Products plugin. Rating can only be seen under Reviews tab on single product page. If you come across any plugin which can show woocommerce rating stars on shop pages, it shall work fine with the theme.
There are also built-in rating widgets by WooCommerce that show products based on most rated.
Regards
do you know any tweak or fix to show the ratings stars like this theme? http://themeforest.net/item/iceberg-ecommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/3568284
Sorry for all my questions.
Hello tomaionut,
I have searched for a plugin for similar requirement. Unfortunately, I was unable to find at this moment. If I come across such plugin soon, I will update the comment here.

Hello tomaionut,
Thanks for sharing the solution. I would like to add one thing. Instead of modifying core plugin files, you can copy /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/content-product.php file into xing/woocommerce/ folder and then modify it. Now this file will be automatically used from theme.

will this integrate with MarketPress from WPMU? http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/e-commerce/
Hello S&S,
Thanks for browsing the theme. I have not tested it with MarketPress. The theme is built for WooCommerce, and works best with it. I would recommend using WooCommerce to get maximum feature support.

How do I remove the sidebar on an individual product page? Is there an option in wordpress, or a php file to edit?
How do I add multiple photos for an individual product?
Thanks!
Hello belieber,
Sidebar on single product can be removed from CSS rules. It will also be required to expand product and description areas to full width. For that, kindly send me an email at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com.
Multiple product images can be add by attaching images to a product post. You can do so by clicking on “Add media” button and drag/drop images into the uploader. They will be attached to the product post automatically.

Will this theme allow you to sell a limited amount of products? Ex. If I have only 10 items of a certain product will it count those down, as if it was keeping inventory, and discontinue selling once the product is sold out?
Hello coachkwick,
The theme uses WooCommerce plugin for shopping features. WooCommerce supports stock management. You can set the amount of stock, and it will be automatically managed as the products are being sold. Once they are out of stock, the product page will show “Out of stock” message. You can find more details here.

Just purchased your product. However, when I attempt to upload it to my server, I get this message:
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
Help?
Hello HowieBlog,
Thanks for purchasing the theme.
It will be required to unzip the download first. Next, look for the folder named ‘xing’. This is the actual installable theme which you can ZIP and upload to WordPress.
Before installing, kindly refer to the documentation/index.html file inside your download zip. This may help you in theme installation and configuration. If you find any difficulty, feel free to email me at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. I would be glad to help and respond.

Hi,
Thank you for a quick answer to my previous question, I wanted to ask you these few simple questions and getting ready to purchase
1) Is there options to include in each product for the customers to choose from like: colors/sizes etc… drop down or buttons etc? can’t see it.
2) Can the store be automated with paypal, I mean to generate each purchase code for processing so that we can process the order?
3) I asked this last time and just want to clarify – how can I add picure banners for my advertisers next to the logo and throughout the site. You mentioned to use word widget? I need to be able to place clickable picture banners.
Thanks very much for your inputs. I love the theme. Regards, TMS
Hello TMS,
1. WooCommerce supports product variations on any product item. For example, checl this product with size and color variation. WooCommerce also comes with a Layered Nav Widget. This widget can be used to filter products based on size, color, etc.
2. Whenever an order is placed, WooCommerce creates an order number / purchase code. For payment options, you can choose between paypal, credit card, cash on delivery, etc.
3. Using a “Text Widget” you can insert basic HTML markup for clickable ads or custom images. For example, if using Google Ads, simply copy the ad code and paste inside a text widget. A simple clickable image shall look like:
<a href="http://target-link.com"><img src="http://url-of-source-image/" /></a>
For #1 and #2, I would recommend downloading the WooCommerce plugin and checking it’s features. The plugin is free and you can test all it’s features on a twentytwelve theme.
Regards
Thanks alot Saurabh,
Terrific and fast response
