1. You’re not using the themes thumbnails shortcode to generate those thumbnails. In your page you’re using the WordPress gallery shortcode which is just a standard gallery. Theme doesn’t really add anything to this shortcode as it’s a default shortcode that’s built into WordPress core.

The thumbnail source images are huge – but that’s how you’re supplying the images to the gallery shortcode by WordPress.

That page is using the themes thumbnail shortcode. It uses resized images and is in control by the theme. You’ll find info on generating those in the Help Guide. On every Page/Post editor screen there are shortcode generator icons. This one is the thumbnails shortcode generator.

Hey Imaginem, in my version of Digon I do not have an Audio Icon in the editor, only a Video Icon. Could you just show me an example of what the shortcoode should look like so I can do it by hand ?

Also, on the page in the Guide called Shortcode GUI there is no short code for Audio only for Video.

The audio and google responsive maps shortcode was added in the most recent update. Could you download the theme again and update. This will give you those latest features. Changelog.txt file provided in the theme has details on changes. You can find version change info in item descriptions page as well.

Hi, Currently fullscreen videos aren’t based as slideshows.

Is it possible through a freelance developer or is this something that simply is not possible through the theme?

Sure this is possible. This change will require some jQuery additions to the supersized script which is in use with the theme. It currently checks for the slideshow image. An additional condition if a video is detected – can easily be displayed using an embed code fullscreen.

is it possible to modify the theme so the sub menu is in a horizontal layout like in your RSW theme???

and is it possible that the different menu items have a different full screen background? In the sample it looks that the different sides always start again with the same background image. Thanks for your feedback!

1. Yes it’s possible to modify the menu to function like RSW theme but will need customizations.

2. Yes. You can assign different fullscreen slideshow posts to the menu. Fullscreen posts can be treated just like pages independent from the homepage. You can link them anywhere. And different fullscreen slideshows can have different images of your choice.

Hi, Yes. submnenus can be made transparent by adding following code to style.css

.homemenu ul ul li {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,0.7);
}

Where 0,0,0 is black in rgb , and 0.7 is 70% opacity.

Hi, You can create 4 portfolio with 4 parent categories and sublevel categories in each of them. You can select each parent cartegory for filterable which isolates all other parent category portfolio and only displays the child categories of selected parent category as filterable.

eg.

Category A - subcat A1 - subcat A2

Category B - subcat B1 - subcat B2

Selecting Category A as filterable category will isolate Category B and subcats B1 and B2. Filterable will only be generated for Category A and sub cat A1 and A2

Yes. It’s multilingual supported. You can use Qtranslator to translate it. WPML plugin provides are more indepth hooks which can translate the text given from theme options as well. Could you ask Qtranslate developers if they have an option for this as well. WPML is not free while Qtranslate plugin is.

Hi,

Styling the select menu is a little tricky when it comes to replacing the arrow. One way is to wrap it with a div and use padding to move the arrow off , while keeping the div – overlay:hidden; You can then position an image to where it is. This is not a good method though.

Another, better way is to use jQuery in styling it.

Here’s a jQuery script which can do it. http://uniformjs.com/

Once the script is active with the menu you can style it using CSS.

Yes, it’s possible to disable the elements on screen using CSS. I can provide code to remove the gallery icon and audo icon in fullscreen pages.

Audio icon is only visible if audio files are provided.
