Will the next update include a child theme?

I can place a child theme on the file package with a simple style.css file. Is this what you are talking about?
Sounds like it. I just understand them to overwrite the parent theme so we don’t lose our customizations when updating. Typically it means that I upload the parent theme, then upload the child theme and activate the child theme. Now all future updates to parent theme will not affect customizations of child. If that’s what you are talking about, then yes please!
Yes, but this brings some trouble with certain plugins and maybe with some core functions. Anyway, I’ll include that on the 1.2 version. By the way, the update was just approved so you can download the file package from here now. Cheers!
BTW, I’ve downloaded the new version twice from TF and each time it still shows as 1.0 instead of 1.1 in WP?
OK got the theme updated. Here’s what is fixed: Headings are now centered Divider under main nav is there
Here’s what’s missing still: can’t upload new logo can’t upload new background (same thing, screen goes white on “insert into post”
I think this is because your browser has cached an older version of a js file. Please Click on Twsited Options, refresh page and try again. If you still have issues try refreshing the file’s specific link (on my server is: http://www.munto.net/twisted/wp-content/themes/twisted/js/admin_scripts.js )

Does the update address the heading position as well? In your demo, all your headings are centered but on mine they are all justified left. Would be great if we could choose centered, justified left, justified right. But for me, I wanted the centered headings for this particular application.
I’d also like to know if we’re able to rename portfolio to whatever we want? Basically I have a client that I’d like to showcase “collections” so I’d like portfolio to be called collections and slug to be called “collections”.

Probably both things are related, because with the whole top section looks exactly like the preview. Renaming the portfolio slug is simple, but it requires a manual change to the functions.php file and I prefer not to place it here. Please send me a private message and I’ll tell you how to do this. Installed Wordpress 3.5.1 correctly onto our development server online, then followed by installing Twisted.
When I go into Twisted Options and click Upload against Logo Image under the heading BRANDING, I select a file from my computer and nothing happens. The pop-up window simply goes white!
Same thing happens when I try and change the background, the pop-out window simply gets stuck after clicking Insert into Post.

Great theme! Just, is it possible to have a button for AJAX lazy “more posts” loading? And also, after ajax loaded new posts, the on:hover effect on links and buttons (to change colours) on that newly loaded content stops to work.

1) Page is not in public mode, can not been reviewed for now. Just try to add shortcode to portfolio page to see the result
2) Used the regular page with hidden sidebar – works perfectly

I’m also missing the line under the navigation but didn’t notice it until you mentioned it. It looks like the line ended up above the main nav making the outer box outline a little off right at the top of the site.

1 – Sorry… I forgot to include that in the documentation. I’ll do it on the next update, but in the mean time you can see them here: http://www.entypo.com/characters/ – just rollover an icon and wait until you see a yellow tooltip (if you see “mail” you should use “entypo_icn-mail”). Depending on your browser you can also see some of them here http://www.munto.net/twisted/wp-content/themes/twisted/inc/fonts/entypo/stylesheet.css;

For some reason I’m unable to change the default logo? Everything else seems to work fine for me but this?
What happens is I click the upload button, upload my image, choose “insert into post”, and then the text and elements on the upload screen go to all white?

Also, it seems that the intro text and excerpt want to align wierd and get cut off. I’m using the same font and font sizes as default setup too btw.
So far I love the theme but would appreciiate any feedback on this.

Lovely looking theme. Few questions
a) Just trying to find out how easy it would be for a newbie to WP to change the top nav to a different colour along with the body and footer. It seems like it only has one colour throughout?
b) If I want to move the slider up ahead of the slogan would that be included in the main theme structure
c) If I want to create a traditional blog with a date block to left, a rectagular image and then add some text… possible without too much code?
d) Finally, adding a full width slider (edge to edge) like the revolution… do you know if itll work without breaking your theme
oh and I tested out your theme on my Ipad and the accordion doesnt seem to work on the demo pages. Just worth a check

a) It’s already an option (the menu colors are independent from the body and footer color);
b) You can decide not to use the slogan abode the slider and then all you have to do is place whatever content below the slider;
c) If you buy the theme I’ll add this blog type in the next 4 days;
d) It wont break the theme, but probably you’ll need some extra css code to make it full width. The theme has a custom CSS textfield if you need to do this;

Thx for the swift reply….. Im almost onboard. Just a few more questions. Im a Creative Director and filmmaker so this is looking perfect for me….
a) When I said change the Nav colours I was really refering to the background colours not the text. I’d love to at least change the footer but maybe even the colours in the header too…. e.g. orange bar behind the nav, your grey for the body background and then a much darker footer… Possible?
b) Can I actually put those slogans wherever I want so if I did move the slider up I could then put it underneath… Oh and dare I mention the idea of left aligning things like the slogans and sub copy!!!!
c) On the portfolio “more info” pages, can I put a slider in there so I dont have to scroll down pages and perhaps even rearrange by having a small chunk of text to the left or right. I’d be quite keen to move the “back to portfolio” button up near the top of the skills set so it was easy for users to flick back and forth
d) Im already on Vimeo but im considering housing my vids with my Server host instead. Possible?
Thx again and apology for so many questions but Im trying to find the balance between artistic quality, simplistic adaptability (I have no time but who has!!!!) and using something that will really grab my video clients

Ref question C) Apology Ive just been looking over your portfolio pages and saw the single post. I can put a slider in there… great. Ist it possible to make the slider smaller and maybe move the info text to the right. I would be keen to close things up a bit and also move the “back to folio” button. Cheers

So here are my comments:
a) You can do this if you have CSS knowledge;
b) Same as my previous answer (but this is just copy/paste already existing code);
c) You can add a theme button using a shortcode for this and keep the other button at the bottom (or hide with CSS it if you want);
d) You can use self hosted videos as long as you wrap them around an iframe or in alternative placing a video tag on the page content (I always recommend streaming from external sources, because their players work better on all devices);

The symbol you see is just a loading image
I have other themes and this is not an issue… Content is loaded normally like any other page. You can see it after the page loads by viewing the page HTML.
As for SEO itself I always recommend the Yoast Plugin. It’s really the best thing in the market for this.

Just checked it on the iPad and notice that the timeline blog has some problems in vertical view. Scrolling is slow and there is a huge space below the posts and the next posts don’t load. In horizontal view all perfect. Something to check?
