Top navigation bar can be removed in two ways:

1. If you wish to remove it from core files, open header.php file and delete line no. 31 to 35:

<div class="top_nav">
...
</div><!-- .top_nav -->

2. Or, add these rules at the end of style.css file:

.top_nav { display: none; }

Any of the above methods will work.

Download latest version of theme and go through version_details.txt file. This file contains a list of php files and style changes which you can implement/replace selectively.

Just replied to your email. It seems a max_var suhosin limit o nserver side, which prevents mroe than 16 or 20 menu items to be displayed. If this var limit is less, menu items do not save properly, or start disappearing. Reference links below:

It will be required to contact Hosts and ask them to increase suhosin max_vars limit.

GoDaddy advised they would not install Suhosin on their shared hosting.

I don’t think hosting was the problem though. I believe I got the issue resolved. What I did was delete the product category that wouldn’t display, and recreate it. Everything appears to be working again.

I really don’t understand what happened, between the theme update and the major WooCommerce update some wires appeared to get crossed somewhere.

Sidebar width is based on layout grid system. There are 5 columns of equal width. 4 are occupied for products and the 5th one is for sidebar. Changing sidebar width may affect rest of the layout grids. Or, if you are good with CSS, you can increase the main container width and then change sidebar width. But still, I would not recommend that.

That’s pretty poor designing in a responsive theme if you ask me. This could easily be avoided using a 960 or 1140 grid system and percentage rather than fixed width. I’ve purchased anyway but something to consider for future templates.

Thanks for the feedback. I would rather say, the theme is adaptive. Even if it were fluid, your query about changing sidebar width would require changing parent container width. The only difference is that you would provide widths in % rather than pixels. But you will have to increase parent container width.

Say, your five columns are 18% each with 2% margin. Can you increase one column without affecting others? Or let me know if it’s possible to keep four columns 18%, parent width 100%, and your custom column width 20%.

Session expiry error arises if the cart is empty, or your server doesn’t support php sessions, or the tmp directory is not writable. For that you may need to contact hosts and ask them whether sessions are enabled for your server. You can find the reference here.

Sorry for that confusion. I think there is some issue with permalink settings. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks, and reset them by switching to default permalink structure. Save settings and again switch to pretty permalink structure like “Post name”. I hope this will work.

I will probably use a sandbox to test the changes before I update my website, my masterpiece (with your help of course).

1. Product categories can be added instead of recent or featured products. WooCommerce supports a short code [product_categories] for this. Using this short code, a category thumbnail will be displayed instead of product thumbnail. Clicking on this thumbnail will lead you to the actual category archive.

2. Yes product categories can be added from WordPress Appearance > Menus. There will a panel similar to Pages and Categories. From this Product Category panel you can add category links.

3. Search bar is set to that particular width in order to fit into sidebar widget area. If we increase it’s width, it won’t be able to fit in sidebar.

The “Hide top navigation” bar option is for the top most Navigation menu bar in black color. It is not the posts pagination menu. On WooCommerce pages, pagination is shown only at the bottom of store. So kindly let me know if there is something else. Or send me a link with that pagination.
