Yes you can modify some of it via theme options but it depends on what you want to do.

what shadow effect did you use? I can’t seem to get the same look as your home page.
You can select “no shadow” to get our built in Avada shadow. We had to do that as the Rev Slider does not allow for custom skins. That shadow is our own custom built shadow and is not apart of the rev slider. Same thing for layer slider, that is our own custom skin. If you use the layer slider, then you can use the Avada skin.

When I check the portfolio pages the video examples on Chrome and Firefox on Windows 7 64bit have the thumbnails appearing over the top of the video. You can’t see or access the video controls (back-forward sound etc.).
Also on all video examples, there is no play button that appears in the middle of the video it seems that you have to click on a tiny play button that is part of the same thumbnail strip along the bottom?
It’s not very common as a user interfaces go, is there a way to get rid of the thumbnail strip (or have it drop while playing the video) and most of all, have a play button in the middle of the video area?

We’re not seeing any of those issues, I just checked on Windows 7 with Firefox, Chrome and IE 8 and 9. What page are you specifically seeing this issue. I checked the portfolio video pages as well as other pages with video controls.
Again, I dont see any of those issues. Please provide a page URl so we can try to see what you are seeing. I’m able to view and use any of the videos in all browsers and in Windows 7 and 8.

I see what you mean in the version you are referring to when I look at the URL you provided but I think there is an issue with the page I have referenced. I can avoid using that layout but it seems a pity not to be able to have videos appearing amongst images…

Also, the issue is with the featured image navigation, which can be turned off in theme options. That is the “gallery” for the lightbox which can be disabled via theme options

That’s weird I purchased in between time but can’t see the purchased marker.
Quick response like this to issues is actually no1 in my books so glad to have invested wisely with you… Only have an issue trying to get foobox to work instead of the default lightbox but I’m sure I’ll figure it out…

Those slider images were bought from thinkstock.com, or from shutterstock.com or from iStock.com. You can buy images like that though at any stock image site, fotolia.com is a good one and is very affordable. It just depends on what you want

I purchased the theme, wonderful work, really admire the simplicity of your effort :] (achieving the simple is the hardest of all)
however, i have some questions and registered in the forum like you said, but i can not open up a new topic under the forum (i have access to my profile – wp dashboard but no option to open up a new topic etc, i entered my licence certificate and all) (i assume this is another bug on the forum end)
the questions are as follows:
1-) how’s the masonry layout actually chosen and integrated to a page? 2-) while creating a new portfolio, (say a1 project for a specific identity design project) it gives only upto 5 featured images to be created for the whole thing. is is better to create a slider (any one of the elastic, revolution etc) and link it to the project?
i ask because that way, if we link the project to be seen under Identity category, on the homepage it only gives the featured images we chose. how should one make it so to show the related slides be seen when clicked while on the homepage?

For the forum, did you enter your purchase code so you cna access the forum sections? If so, to open a new topic, scroll down to the bottom of the “Avada” forum page, the topic fields are at the bottom of the page below the thread list.
1. Masonry is only a design at this point, its not been implemneted into the theme yet. Those are just the PSD designs that we created and will be implementing in one of our next versions.
2. To add more featured image boxes, go into theme options on the “slideshow” tab and enter a higher number for “Posts Slideshow Images”. You can have as many as you want, 5 is the default.

It looks like you scrolled down to far. Open up the “avada” forum, then scroll down to the bottom. Right below the topics there will be fields to make a new topic. That will show as long as you entered your purchase code. Please email me your username, password and purchase code.

Yes its possible to have full width sliders but only for the TF slider, Rev Slider, Layer Slider, and Elastic Slider

Yes you can change the content as well, our demo just shows the “dummy” content for filler, you can insert your own content anywhere you see on the site.

1. Yes just about all our items are shortcodes so you can put them on any page or in any placement on the page.
2. We do not have a form shortocde, only the contact form on the contact page. But you can put any content inside of a tab if you wish
3. For downloads, there is no specific download feature, but all you need to do is insert an image or text and make it a link to download the file.

Oh wow, I’m sorry you are having this issue. Themeforest handles all downloads on their own servers, the author has not control over that. I just checked it on my end and it download quickly.
Have you tried it again recently? Maybe reboot your computer/browser.
If the issue persist, contact Themeforest support by filling out a ticket.

You’ve already downloaded it if you’ve purchased and downloaded the theme! There is a “documentation” folder with your package, inside is a “index.html” file, double click that file and all the documentation and videos are inside organized into sections with a table of contents.

Hi. Seems like the 2.1.1 zip file won’t install. Only FTP works. Furthermore , regarding Revolution slider – The delays between slides is not working .No matter what value you put in the delay is the same.
The 2.1.1 installs both ways, if you can’t install it via Wordpress then you have a limit on the file size that can be uploaded. It’s slightly larger than 2.1. You can change that if you want, or install it via FTP. 95% of hosting does not limited it, or at least is high enough. Only a small percentage is lower, but unfortunately it happens. But that’s been the case for a long time, some have it capped at 7mb.
For rev slider, that is also working for us. Can you please post this up on our support forum. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

I noticed a bug with the Avada theme when you have Breadcrumbs enabled, they are not responsive between 960px and 768px. I would recommend adding the following code to the theme to fix this.
in all.css @ Line 534 add the following:

Beautiful theme! There was an earlier question regarding tables in shortcode. I understand you’re looking to add this in your next update, but I’m wondering if I build the table using HTML, would I be able to create a table with colored borders and with a width of my choosing? I only ask because the last theme I worked with wouldn’t publish the HTML correctly (I didn’t even get a table…it was more like floating text).

Yes you can build a table using HTML, the theme will display it correctly as long as the HTML is all valid, that is not problem at all. ANd if you run into any issues, you can post on the forum and we’ll be able to help you out

A few short questions before purchase: • can I make a portfoliopage (or whatever you call it) as my homepage? I’d like the visitor to first see the 4-column Portfoliopage when they come to my site.
• the 4-column portfolio page is in the demo 3 photos high. Can I make it 4? 5?
• the bottom field (don’t know what you call it – the dark grey with lots of info etc) moves up dynamically when the portfoliopage is sorted to less photos. Can I make that bottomfield stay?
• in the portfoliopage; let’s say I have a 4-column by 5 photos (that’s 20 photos) layout. Can I make it so that those 20 photos are randomly selected from let’s say 60 photos in a folder somewhere. And then maybe change only a number of those 20 when the page is reloaded?

Yes the portfolio page can be your home page, any page you wish can be your home page
Yes you can insert as many rows as you wish on the portfolio pages via theme options
The footer area is what you are referring to, and that will adjust based on the height of the page, so if some rows get taken away, it moves up in its place. It is possible to have a “sticky” footer that will stay at the bottom but its not a theme option at this time, we will need to add that which its on our update list. We update frequently with new features and all future update are free once you purchase.
No thats not possible, each portfolio post is something you create and it has specific image assigned and text/info. There is not an option to randomly grab images from a folder, but that is true for any theme with a portfolio.

We’re adding shortocde pages with “get the code” to our demo in the coming weeks or so. That way you cna check each on out. But for nowm you can click the shortcode icons in visual editor to see the code, or post up on our forum with any questions and we can show you what you need. We also give all our demo pages in the XML file, and a good portion of them in our docs so users can copy and paste what they need.

Hi, I have an issue here. I am unable to upload the theme into wordpress. I was only able to upload the “Child Theme”, this is shown in wordpress “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Avada” parent theme.” When I upload “Avata.zip”, this is the response “Are you sure you want to do this? please try again”. Thank you for your support.

The parent theme is larger than child theme so you may have a cap on how large a file can be that is uploaded via Wordpress. Do you have access via FTP? You can upload the extracted Avada folder to your themes folder and it will work.
We outline instructions on how to upload via FTP in our docs, and its also in the install video towards the end.
We can also do tht for you if you post up on our forum with those credentials, we have a private reply system where we can get your login info securely. Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.
