Hey guys, is there any option to remove sub category photos but the sub category itself in parent categories? I just dont want those sub category photos in the sub category pages.

Is there anything in the works to enhance options for background images? Such as upload images and align sides, bottom and/or top without having to have a patterned background? If not consider this a suggestion.

Yes, that option will come in our next update, you’ll be able to upload bigger images and choose whether they tile or not, and their position of course. We decided to push the left column update for now, should be ready for download in a few hours, and will follow through with the backgrounds option by next week.

Hi, product grid width varies with the responsive states. On the lowest rez it’s 280px, on the highest 230px. The banners module is laid out independently and not related to the product grid so you can have any number of banners in a row, they’ll be divided equally to fit on the available width of the page. Thanks!
We’re actually working on an improved banners module where they won’t shrink on the mobile resolutions and take up new rows.
thanks you for answering so fast… I understand what you said about the journal banners module and would use that, but there is no option for the column (right). I wanted to know the right column width so I can use the default opencart banner module and set the right px size…

i suppose that resolutions apply also to the column width…
I’m sorry, I misunderstood, the right column is fixed at 200px so banners/sliders for the side columns should be made at 200px and can have any height. Side columns don’t change with the responsive layout, they stay at 200, although they are hidden on resolutions below 760. This information is also found in our documentation. Cheers!

Hi, yes, we need to put that in there The logo box varies in size as well with the responsive states, but it’s 200×80px at it lowest (Extended Module option). The logo image, however, is not stretched and will always be centered within the parent box. Thanks!

Just purchased and tried to install the theme. Though the admin page seems to work correctly, when entering the website as a “customer” the only thing that is shown is the text “journal not installed” Does anyone know what I have done wrong?

Hi.., I’m new here.., I found that the themes layout on computer is exactly the same with the ipad (vertical view) but why its different when we open it on Galaxy tab 7” (vertical view) ?
Hi, it seems the Galaxy 7 has a different resolution. The iPad has 768px in portrait mode so if the Samsung tablet is lower than that it will trigger the next breakpoint, which is 480. We have several breakpoints from 1220 all the way down to 320. They’re based on resolution, not device, so you can resize your browser’s window to see all of them. Thanks.
oh you mean resize the browser’s window on galaxy tab? to make it exactly the same as the computer/laptop layout…,
No, I was referring to computer browser window, if you resize it (drag from a bottom corner) you will see all the responsive breakpoints and determine what you see on your particular tablet. We don’t know what resolution a device may have, that’s why we have several breakpoints. Cheers!

I’m using Opencart and setting up a custom printing site for my family.. I’ve got little experience in web development and it’s taken me about 1 year to get everything working on my test site (test.nwfineartprinting.com). While I know the styling is not the best, I just need to get the site up and get some sales going on it.
In addition, I’d like to set up a second site with our Opencart for our sign and graphics division that doesn’t really sell online products but would have different category pages that provide information on the different types of products we produce on the sign/graphics side of things and then have a request a quote page for customers to fill in information and get a quote from us.
Is there any way I can use your theme on the new site I’d like to set up without it breaking the styling of our first site (test.nwfineartprinting.com)? Basically can your theme support multi stores and work independent of my first store?

Hi. I’ve got a lil problem with the Background color of the Content. I’d like to input something more than a color code, maybe some rgba opacity or an url background.. Where do i need to look at? I tried editing the background property of the style.css, but it also affects the background of the product grid of the main page ><
Hi, have you tried background images in Control Panel/General/Backgrounds? You can have tileable patters on the main elements like header, content, footer, etc.
As far as background color with opacity goes, I’d save a solid color png with some transparency in it an upload it as a repeating background image in the section I just mentioned.

Unfortunately, if i prompt a color from Control Panel -> Colors -> General -> Content Background it affects all contents except the homepage product grid (as i want), but doing it via Control Panel -> General -> Background also affects the grid 
I think you don’t see it on the home page because you have “Extended Module” enabled in General/Layout. If you need to apply styling only to the home page content background, it needs to be done with css to target just that element. However, this is not done in the main css file (style.css). In fact, you should not modify that file as most of it is being overwritten by the Control Panel.

Hi there, As im working on SEO URLs, may i ask; Is it possible to change of SEO/route of: system>design>layouts and route? its home and i wanna change that to turkish. And i dont know if im going to see: index.php?route=common/home or just home? (or the home in turkish anyway)
Btw: if its possible, i think i may name the home.php to anasayfa.php or something! in my ftp folder.

Hi, I’m not sure about the custom layouts with different languages. This is an OpenCart feature and I think you should consult their documentation.
As far as the icons they are loaded from the Control Panel, you don’t have to do anything in the tpl files. Could you please use our support page for any questions you may have, we streamline our customer service much better that way.
