Hi I purchased this slider through the Kallays theme and was wondering how I go about getting the demo uploaded?
I have all the files relating to the demo, i.e. the text file and pictures but don’t have an xml file to import?

Hi, It was the revolution/creative slider which was included in the Kallays theme that I purchased. The demo Im trying to import is the one contained in the Revolution/creative slider of the Kallays theme demo page.

when you edit slider, you have option to export it at the bottom of the page. Also, next to it is option to import it.

Sure but all I have are placeholders where the images should be and no indication of what the images are called in the settings to upload them to the correct placeholders?
That’s because you also need to import other theme’s demo content with attachments. Then you will have images.

Sure but the theme didn’t include any of the images for the slider, only sample images not the actual ones. I had to get the correct images from the themes support team. The images I have are all in folders but I have no way of selecting the correct image because the placeholders on the slider do not contain any indication of what the image that goes there is called?

you really need to contact the theme that made the slider. We cannot support other themes.

Ok. I will start again.
I purchased the Kallays theme. The theme includes the Creative/Revolution slider. I want to replicate the demo slider shown in the themes demo page shown here: http://themeforest.net/item/kallyas-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/4091658
To see the correct demo slider please select sliders from the main menu then creative to see the demo slider. (First slide contains Facebook development slide)
I contacted the Kallyas Themes support team to get the actual pictures that they used in the demo which they sent me. They also sent me the txt file which I imported to the slider however after uploading the txt file, the slider only contains the placeholders where the images should be. (Because I cant upload images as I don’t know where they should go)
So rather than try to guess which picture go’s where, I was asking you to help me import the data to the slider in the correct format to save me guessing what goes where.
The import feature of the slider did accept the zip file format because it said it was the wrong format it said it needed to be in an xml format?

But it is your slider? It is a third party slider called revolution slider which you make? They make the theme you make the slider? I need help with the slider not the theme?

we didn’t make the slider. We made only the theme and purchased license to be able to provide RevSlider with our theme. Issue here is not our demo content or our sliders, but demo content of other theme and we can’t support that.

Hi. The theme looks awesome but I still have few questions before I buy: 1. When I look at the demo parallax page the order of the columns gets all messed up – each column has an headline + text + picture + caption but on mobile the order in the three columns mode goes text/text/text followed by picture+caption/picture+caption/picture+caption. Is it easy to arrange so stuff displays in the right order on mobile? 2. Is it possible to use shortcodes on the parallax page?

I am trying to make a revolutionary slider with a static image as the background. The only option I see is Show Background image under slider appearance, but it is for a different setting.

Im sorry if i duplicate this question but i am really struggling with updating the images on the parallax page you have created.
The main 6 images that you use to create the parallax page effect = how do i change them and in doing so does this also change them on the responsive version or do i have to manually amend them again for each format ?

You can change the link only if you edit header.php.
Revolutions slider is in the plugin folder of our theme. You should upload it when adding new plugin.

Oh, sorry. I’ve forgot. Theme should report that it comes with revolution slider (message at the top). You should just click to install it.

a) On the HOME Page how do I take out the small separator from Small Slider PORTFOLIO title? I want PORTFOLIO title without the short line underneath. I am using 2.0.8 version.
b) On Home Page how can I take out the top long separator; the one underneath the menu?
c) On the Contact Form I changed the text colour and black background of the input fields with CSS on the following: input[type=”text”]; input[type=”text”]:focus; textarea; textarea:focus. They are all as I wanted, except the “Your Email (required)” field that doesn’t change. Where and how can I edit its height, text and background colour?

How do I upgrade the Minimum theme? can you just send the files that need updating? normally, I go into themes from wordpress and when there is a new update you click on update – why can’t you do that with this theme?

You can upgrade our theme by performing following steps:
1. Download latest version from ThemeForest
2. Extract it and locate minimum.zip
3. Extract minimum.zip and locate minimum folder
4. Copy/Replace the content of minimum folder to /wp-content/themes/minimum folder of your web site.
Using this method, none of existing content or settings will be lost.

I saw this, this requires me to go into the ftp to do this – I have extracted and unzipped the files – found the minimum folder – it has alot of info and additional folders in it – so there isn’t any way for me to do this without going the ftp route?

1) Unfortunately no using theme’s settings. This would require custom work using child theme.
2) While you edit slides, you can change this:

Hi, I’m having some issues while trying to configure the Revolution Slider, hope you can help me.
On one text “Layer Params”, I am trying to customized the style “huge_bold” by clicking on “Edit CSS File” so I can edit the color, font size etc. and then Update. Unfortunately nothing is updated on the slider and no changes are reflected on the “Preview Slide” or “Edit Slider” page or Home page. Any idea whats up with that and how to customize the Caption Text CSS?

I know we had all our RevSlider CSS changes stored in captions.css found in wp-content/plugins/revslider/rs-plugin/css folder. Maybe you can check if this folder is writable?
