How do you hide the Portfolio page title & filter?
Tried registering for the forum but I must be losing my mind. Says to click on license certificate in order to get the purchase code and this link doesn’t exist. And yes I’ve purchased the theme… :/

Hi, I purchased the theme yesterday and it said that it includes the html files in the ThemeForest Files Included i’m trying to implement it not on wordpress can I get the html?

marking that HTML files were included was never meant to imply that the entire template was included also as an HTML version. That was still lingering from when I had a documentation written in HTML. If you bought this only needing an HTML template, please just file for a refund. I have no control over issuing them, but let the ThemeForest staff know the situation and I’m sure they’ll help you out

Hi there, i am thinking of purchasing this but i was wondering is there anyway to put 2 logos up, say for example one on the left and the other on the right, its just the business that im doing it for, is looking to put 2 businesses into one

That would require some custom development. You would need to manually enter the second logo into the code and create a CSS rule to position it on the right.

Hey kylo1989, no, Google didn’t change anything. I checked out your page and it looks like the javascript is breaking. Have you modified the files at all or activated a plugin that messes with it?

What font did you use for your salient theme logo?

Hi, I´ve tried to change the featured slider to only show up as 400px, or 470px in height.
When editing in the Salient interface nothing changes. I´ve changed the size from originatlly 702 px to 470 with the result of the bg-color is showing on that new space.
Got any tip for me?

Yes, with some custom CSS. A snippet has already been posted to remove the hearts on the support forum, but if you need the date removed as well just open a ticket and I’ll help you out

I would recommend installing the included dummy-data.xml file by going to Tools > Import, selecting WordPress and browsing for the file. If you would rather not do that and just need the about page setup, post a ticket on the support forum and I’ll give you all the markup for the page that you’ll be able to simply paste in your editor

Hi there,
As far as the portfolio, I want to add a Plansbook, which is basically a PDF booklet. Is there any way of doing this inside the portfolio theme? A lot of my stuff is more written work with some visuals to complement.. And also there has been a lot of updates lately.. is that normal? Is there any easier way to update rather than deleting and re-uploading?

1. Enable the “Extra Content Editor” option for the portfolio in your Salient options panel. Then inside of that, you could post embeds to your .pdfs like this:

2. Yes, I have been hard at work making some awesome additions and fixing all the bugs that have come in to give you guys a top-notch experience. All of the updates are thoroughly fleshed out in the changelog so that you know exactly what to expect in each version. If you find updating to be cumbersome, you don’t have to do it if you don’t mind missing out on the changes in the new version.

Also in the portfolio, when I click “View Larger” An error message comes up saying “Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.”

Recently purchased and installed this theme. I also installed the dummy data but noticed that none of the images were imported properly. Any idea how I can get the import to do this? I’d like to play with this theme to get an idea of what I can do with it and it would be so much easier if I could have everything imported including images.
Also, I noticed that not all of the sections are imported as they appear in the demo. For example, the footer widget area is different in the import data as compared to the site demo. I noticed a few other areas as well.
Is it possible to get the import file that exactly matches the site demo?

Hey Olimess, thanks for purchasing the theme!
Most of the demo images can not be included due to copyright, so placeholder images (black squares) are used in their place to hold the layouts correctly. Also, widget preferences are not stored in the .xml and there is no way to include such data. All of the widgets used in the footer/sidebar can easily be setup in a couple of minutes as they are all built in to the theme.

The portfolio items are sorted by date just like blog posts so you could just switch the date manually to adjust the order. Alternatively, you could use a plugin like this to drag and drop them
