You need to update your WordPress version. If you don’t have that function that means your on a version < 3.4
Awesome theme I just have one request before I purchase it.I just wanted to know if I can download the demo theme and play around with the colors I need(gold and maroon) before I buy it. Is that possible?

Which version of the Google Analytics tracking code are you using?
The most recent one. However, the theme should be compatible with any/all versions.
The portfolio “fade in” feature is jumpy/clunky in safar…great in chome. Any ideas on a fix?
I see no difference between safari and other browsers with the portfolio fade in. It is just a simple delayed fade in, only a few lines of code so I wouldn’t expect it to be “jumpy/clunky” in any browser. Please try and post any future issues your experiencing in the support forum mate
yeah not trying to complain here…dont get me wrong, this template is awesome. It just doesnt fade-in in order or with the smoothness it does in FF or Chrome. A few of the images jump a bit (why I used the word clunky).

Hi, Love this theme, but I’m having one big problem – none of the CSS-related options seem to be working for me. We were able to swap out the logo and favicon, but our accent color change isn’t reflecting on the live site, nor are any of our Typography Options changes. Any ideas?
Yes, your server probably changed the permissions of all of those files to not be executable. I am taking care of this problem for good in the next release, but for now try CHMODing the permissions on these files in the css folder to 755:
- colors.css.php
- fonts.css.php
- custom.css.php
- responsive.css.php

Hi again. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I managed to get the contact form sorted, but now I’m wondering how you got the text to the right of it in the demo. i have tried adding a text widget to ‘page sidebar’ but this hasn’t worked. What am i doing wrong?!

If you’re ever wondering how a certain layout was setup in the demo site, you can import the dummy data xml file included with your purchase to replicate the setup in its entirety. All you have to do is go to Tools > Import, select WordPress and browse for the file.
If you would rather continue without doing that, the answer is I used the column shortcodes. Here’s what it looked like:
[two_thirds] YOUR CONTACT FORM SHORTCODE HERE [/two_thirds] [one_third_last] YOUR TEXT HERE [/one_third_last]

Is there any way to make the header image aligned to the right edge rather than left edge? I’d like the right portion of the image to remain visible on smaller screens as the left bit is mostly blank space. Cheers for your excellent support

The header images are aligned from the center and have their size to be set as cover so you shouldn’t see only one side of your being cut off, it should all be equal. If you needed a right alignment then you would have to turn on the image resizing and loose a lot of the responsive aspect.
Hi! Bought the theme and really enjoying it! Congrats! Just one query, sorry if its been asked already. I’d love to get a live twitter or facebook feed on the landing page. nothing big, just the last 5 tweets or something. Is this doable? If so, how?

The easiest way to do that would be to get a recent tweets plugin and either drop it in the widgets or possibly do a manual function call of it in the home template you’re using if you want to display it in the content area

Under my portfolio page I’ve set the left bar to stay fixed while scrolling down the page. It looks like it works sporadically and good for only one scroll down… when I scroll back up to the top and scroll down again it doesn’t work the moment it does happen. I’ve tried going back into the portfolio settings and adjusting this to on and off again and still it’s a bit buggy. I noticed on your sample site it works pretty flawlessly all the time. Very weird J, it seems as though on some page loads the script is stopping early and never executing some things. Sometimes your smoothing scrolling also never activates, yet I see no errors causing this in the console. If I were to troubleshoot this, I would need you to post this in the support forum as a private ticket with your info

You can use the typography options in the Salient options panel to globally make changes to the font families and properties used in various sections of the site.

Make sure you have at least one location turned on. Just entering a map latitude and longitude center point will not add a marker to your map.
Freaking awesome theme!
My only complaint is the scrolling on the front page has some sort of “soft scroll/fade” effect that makes it lag.
I’ll buy this theme if I can make it simply scroll without fading out or doing any other fancy (but processor intensive) things
Note: Only seems to be a problem in chrome, and on slower machines.
Furthermore
Pricing tables page is broken in IE 9, haven’t tested others except chrome. Can I removed the custom scroll bar?

Yes, you can disable the smooth scrolling and the custom scrollbar with one click in the admin panel. That alone would help with the lag.
Also, turning off the opacity animation on the captions when scrolling would only be a matter of deleting a few lines in the JS.

Love the theme. I’ve installed it and everything works fine. I went to upload a few images to the homepage slider and the “UPLOAD” button simply isn’t working or responding. I’ve tried it in Firefox, Chrome, & Safari and I get the same problem…
I click “UPLOAD” and nothing.. it says in the bottom of the browser bar “javascript / noid”... What could be wrong? Thanks!

What caching plugin would you suggest and do you think it would help the page load time?
Currently the portfolio loads very slow…doing everything we can to optimize images.
Do you have a lot of items in your portfolio? If so, have you turned on pagination?
Great theme! I appreciate what you have done with it. I’m having a small problem with a child theme. When I change the font on the main navigation to a larger bolder font, I get a large black bar below the slider. Do you know why this is happening? How Can I change the “more details” text to read “Purchase” ?
Open up the page-portfolio.php template and search for “More Details” Here’s the line you can edit to say whatever you want:
echo '<a href="' . get_permalink() . '">'.__("More Details", NECTAR_THEME_NAME).'</a>'; ?>
(it’s at line 182 if you’re on the most recent version)

Assuming you’re talking about the recent projects shortcode, open up nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php and run a search for “nectar_recent_projects”
inside of this function, scroll down until you find this:
<a href="' . get_permalink() . '">'.__("More Details", NECTAR_THEME_NAME).'</a>
edit it just like you did the above one

All you need to do is install the plugin “Contact Form 7”, configure a form in their UI and paste the shortcode for it on the contact page
