I placed a nav item with a unique class. When active, I am not able to change the colour + hover colour. How do I do this?

Because the theme has some smooth animations for hover events you need to open the main.js file for this (it’s located in the “js” folder).

Thanks for the quick reply Pirenko, the answer was not on that video you sent me, but watching another video you posted I found the answer. It was pretty simple, just changing the template to be used when creating a new page, makes all those options appear!

I also need to do the same thing with skills/skills-category
The option to do this is not in the options panel and i’ve looked through the taxonomy files but haven’t been able to find where to change it. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Woocomerce is supported, but not included in the theme package. You have to add that free plugin, but the theme is ready to receive it

The theme is great, but the site is loading extremely slow responsively (iPad and iPhone and Androids) it’s taking approximately 20 sec to 1 min to load the site depending on the device. Any suggestions how to improve this?

In the code hierarchy, the main content block is placed before the sidebar regardless of the sidebar position, so it is crawled first by search engines

Well I prefer Yoast, because it’s the best I have ver tried. The plugin you say seems to be very good to so you may keep it if you already are familiarized with it.
About the header: yes, that color is an option under Quest Options>General tab>Header.

Also, there is custom css for the nav .sf-menu>li.active > a. How do I access that?
I don’t exactly what you want to change… Some styles are on the custom.css file and other are generated on the custom.php according to your control panel options.
Anyway, I always encourage users to go to Quest Options>Custom Scripts tab>Custom CSS and throw your CSS code there. This way you can update the theme without losing any of your changes.

If you have your files hosted using wordpress.com you can’t install themes obtained outside wordpress network. If you have them elsewhere contact your hosting company to get yout FTP details. Cheers!

I’m very happy with this great theme !
As ChrisSan mentions, it would be cool to have a sitemap template (the regular sitemap plugins around omit portfolios).
Another idea for a future release: on the single portfolio page, the two buttons to navigate across the portfolio images are in the bottom left corner of the images. If the images have different sizes, the buttons never stay at the same place… can we have an option to have them in the top left corner ?

That height is set using jQuery. Your website is producing some errors related with Facebook and it’s probably affecting this function. Turn off all your plugins and try again. Cheers!
Hi Pirenko ! Very nice work with this theme !!! I’ve spotted few things, can you help me figure out how to overcome these glitches ?
1) I’ve set the “Logo Vertical displacement” to 32 in the Branding option tab, to fit my icon size. The social icons right to the menu seems to be affected by this change (they are now somewhat lower)... IMHO they shouldn’t
2) I’ve tried (in the Blog option tab), to set the “Blog categories page template” to “Timeline”. But I also set (in the General option tab) the “Display right sidebar?” to “No”. Then all the right posts excerpts in a category page (ie http://mysite/category/blog/ ) are now “floating” too far right of the timeline. (and the whole page is not centered, but is too much on the left). In “masonry” mode, the display is correct but all is also too much on the left (when you have no right sidebar). Should be centered ?
3) I’m using Yoast WordPress SEO… and all my titles now contains twice the site name. Changing the “Force title rewrite” in Yoast SEO does not change anything. I know you do not provide support for 3rdparty plugins, but I think this theme must run smoothly with one of the most used plugins
4) last thing, the white top banner (with the menus) is over the whole site (this is by design)... but it has several drawbacks: when in “admin” mode, wordpress’s top pulldown menu entries appear under your top white banner. Maybe more annoying, in the public site, on the contact page, Google map’s big balloon above the current position occluded by the white banner. As a workaround, I did tweak my google map link to center it somewhat lower.
Okay, lot of things, but wow ! in few hours, I got an awesome site…

Thanks a lot for your fast and precise answers. For the record, and to help other users of the theme:
1) The social icon position (on the topbar) can be tweaked like this:
...add this code under Quest Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS: #mini_social_nets .icon-linkedin { margin-top:-2px; }
2) It was a bug that is fixed now in my site (thanks!!!), the fix will be shipped in the next theme release
3) The solution was to check “Force title rewrite” in Yoast, and clear the browser cache.
4) If some part of the google map is occluded by the topbar, you can center your map somewhat below in Google Maps and paste the corresponding GMap link.

Open the images folder inside the theme main folder and you’ll find the 4 logos there. You don’t have to follow exactly these measurements, but you can analyse their sizes.
How do you stop the text and boxes from disappearing (or slowing them down) when you only have one slide going? Thanks.
For this you’ll have to edit manually the main.js. Open it search for “it’s a single slide – hide captions” and edit/remove the following lines.

Thanks for another great theme I loved twisted and this on even more, as I’m here I was wondering if there was a chance to add a sitemap template to the theme would be very useful and nice added feature.
