help.revaxarts.com is live!

As you may know I’m currently working with Ticksy to give support for my items. Recently support requests have increased tremendously and since Ticksy has stopped it’s development I had to find a better solutions for my customers.

From now on all support request for buyers go through this contact form and all most common questions should have been answered already at help.revaxarts.com

I’m going to add new articles in the future so you may want to add the feed to your favorite feed reader or sign up to my newsletter as well

I’ll answer open tickets at Ticksy soon but you should consider to send me a mail to speed thing up

Thanks for understanding

Hi Just purchased and found an issue when using the template builder uploading to Campaign Monitor. On the 3rd step I click the upload to CM and I get this error!

“You need have at least one singleline /, multiline / or img editable=”true” / tag in your template. Without these, your clients can’t add any content to their emails (and are better off sending a regular campaign instead of using a template).”

It’s okay with the above… I uploaded the template builder to my own server instead of using the one on your server and it works fine now.

I do a an issue with responsiveness on mobile though where for example 2 images are side by side but on mobile these are still sideby side and very small. I tried the code change (in 2 places on the template I created but this did not fix the issue! Text layout is responsive but not so the image layout?!

templatebuilder must be on your webserver to work probably.

Images are supposed to be inline

Hello, I tried using the template builder for use with mailchimp. Whether I paste HTML or upload through the template builder, the size of buttons and padding between sections is not preserved. Is there a trick to get the formatting to stay the way it looks in the template builder?

Mailchimp is removing the width and height attribute so you have to insert a max-width attribute as well.

I’m talking to MC about this issue to get this resolved!

Please stay tuned

Hi,

I installed the template builder, but I have a problem with Mailchimp. The check credentials button is disabled and I cannot send the template to mailchimp…. Any clue?

havebought and downloaded your product… can see the files in my directory…but how do I activate this theme product…no icons etc… help…i need to start using it to deliver a commission in next day

This is a template and not a theme so you can’t “activate” it. How do you send your campaigns?

Doesn’t come close to being responsive. Using pixels for responsive widths shows you don’t understand this technique.

Using % stand more for fluid layout and not responsive. The template was designed to work on most devices which have similar dimensions or can at least handle similar dimensions.

The reason you don’t see a responsive template is media queries look like this
@media only screen and (max-device-width: 480px)
while on my demo sites for I use
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px)

This is required that only devices with a max device width of 480 pixels use the responsive feature

To allow media queries only on that devices (which they are made for) helps to get rid of unexpected results in Thunderbird and Apple mail.

You can remove the “device” from the media query to see how it looks in the browser

Hope that explains it!

Thanks!

You are incorrect revaxarts. Do some tutorials on responsive design. % does not stand more for fluid layout. The responsive design should be applied across all devices, not just devices with a screen size of 480px or less. Your design does not respond to the iPhone5 or other mobile devices with screen sizes larger than this and looks terrible.

I am a web developer for a living and do responsive design every day. I bought this needing to produce a HTML newsletter quickly thinking it would save me time. It end up just costing me a whole lot more time, making it truly responsive.

I opened a ticket more than a week ago (Ticket# 63611), but never received any response from you. It says you guys respond in two days. This is getting frustrating… Please see the issues with your templates below.

it doesn’t look good on iPad and iPad mini. Isn’t it fully responsive design?

1. In a portrait viewing on iPad, your template doesn’t stretch all the way to the right. There is small gap on the right side.

2. I see two white lines between your words “How Are You Doing?”. I purchased email templates from other sellers and never had this type of issues on the iPad.

I also attached a screenshot on your support ticket page. It doesn’t allow me here…

Sorry for the delay! Ticket has been answered

Tried your support page with no response… so I’m trying here. Where can I find directions for the slider feature on the iPhone element of this theme? Not sure how to insert a gallery through the MyMail plugin when editing this template.

Sorry for the delay! Had some busy things to to lately, Support is back shortly

Grab it here: http://d.pr/f/ym4S

Very nice but doesn’t seem to work on Blackberry 7 os. Email message just shows up as a blank message.

Hi mgoddyn!

Sorry for the troubles!

Can you please open a new ticket?

Thanks!

Hi, I bought this template and unzipped the download and saved it to my computer. However, when I try to open the template builder, I get an error message that says “No response from the server! Would you like to check your configuration”. I click OK then it says that the template builder may not work correctly. Once I get to the 3rd page to download the HTML, the error message that pops up says “Unable to generate the HTML. Please make sure you’ve uploaded all files correctly”. What files is it talking about? If someone could please help me I would really appreciate it! I am sure I am missing a step in the download process…

Hi Aromano4!

Sorry about the troubles!

You have to upload the files to your webspace. Please check this video: http://vimeo.com/35621636

If you don’t own a webspace you can use MyTemplateBuilder as well!

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help! I tried to upload it to the webspace, but now when I follow the link it says that the file is not writable and asks if I would like to check my configuration.

Can you please open a new ticket?

Thanks!

Hi there, the formatting in the header doesn’t work in gmail. Even using an unedited template. Will you be releasing a fix for this soon? I was hoping to send this out today, I’d like a refund please if this isn’t the case.

Hi!

Sorry for the delay!

You have to inline all CSS to get a proper result on Gmail!

Hi,

I have uploaded a template inside Mailchimp. I see that the left floating images cannot be edited here.

Is there a way to achieve that? It would make it easier to build another newsletter based on the first one, without having to redo it all from the start with the Template Builder.

Thanks

Hi Hepa!

This is a known issue, sorry.

You have to remove the floating text before you can edit the image.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the answer. But if I remove the text, how do I put it back using just the visual editor?

remove the text until the very first line and you “reveal” the image. After you have changed it you can insert the text again

This is a very fine theme and the “My Template Builder” is totally awesome! I have no regrets about purchasing though am a little disappointed on the mobile view on my iPhone. I am finding some minor viewing problems: - 1/2 Image Full loses the space between the photos - overall fonts are too large on the iPhone

Hi Denny!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll see how I can improve that.

Hi there, I have bought this template and using Portifolio theme for my newsletter. It does not see to be responsive on the Iphone as this shows First and second image together and for the second image it just shows the text. Grateful if you could have a look on this. Thanking in advance.

Sorry about that issue. Can you try different modules? You can alter the HTML of course but for small screens I would go with the provided solution.

You can also get rid of responsiveness by removing the media query blocks in the style section.

Hope that helps!

I bought this templates only because of this portfolio modules and its responsiveness. This portfolio modules has been implemented on my site. Now it looks like, I made the wrong choice and I would really appreciate if you could do anything about this.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Sorry about that.

But the template is sold “as is” and you can check everything you get on the livepreview

My Footer is not responsive :-(

This should be the normal behavior. What do you expect?

That the whole theme is responsive?

it is! This is from the demo:

\\

Is this compatible with Aweber?

I’m sure it works with Aweber. Haven’t tested it though
