How can I disable the left and right scrolling. It seems everything does not fit correctly.
The boxes you added called ‘You May Also Like’ were not part of the original design, so there is no mobile CSS for them. You will need to add some CSS the appropriate mobile CSS media queries to tell it to resize these accordingly. Thanks
Can I disable You May Also Like?
It looks to be part of the Share-a-holic element you added. If you remove that it should remove the ‘You May Also Like’.
Hi there,
I’d just like to say thanks for this great theme and a big thank you to Dan & Adam for their brilliant customer support! These guys certainly know what they’re doing. Looking forward to using more of your themes in the future..
Thanks!!
Hi, I just purchased your theme and after installation the theme got half broken. Most of the grafic features doesn’t work like theme options menu is not controlled by tabs, all the menu is listed in one page and can’t change color scheme and some other stuff. On page edit i can’t set the bg image because there is no option for that and again theme features controls half crashed. I am using wordpress 3.5.2, when i reload all theme files things seems fixed but if i change anything on theme features it gets broken again. Can you help please.
Received your support ticket and responded. It has been fixed, let us know if you have any other issues. Thanks for your purchase!
On the demo you see a girl climbing up that is a picture. Can a video be placed there instead?
Yes, you definitely can!
Hi, I really love this theme. I am having a couple of issues though.
The first issue is that I have looked on ThemeForest for an update and I can not find one. It says I am running version 1.0 of flight. Is there a more recent update than this? If so, where exactly is it located?
The second problem I am having is when I go into the Flight Theme on my WP Admin, If I make any changes and save the changes, the formatting of the admin page completely goes away and it is impossible to make anymore changes W/out deleting then reinstalling the theme. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
On the first question, the release on ThemeForest is always the latest release. We have been working with Envato’s versioning system to try and integrate with their system but there have been issues that we haven’t been able to resolve yet, so at this point all of the versions say 1.0 even though there have been 20 or so updates.
On the second problem, I’m not sure what is going on, we haven’t run into that before. Would you kind enough to open a Support Ticket with your website information so we can login and investigate this for you? Also make sure you are following the correct procedure when updating the theme: http://support.themesuite.com/?knowledgebase=updating-the-flight-theme
Thanks for your purchase!
Support ticket is submitted. I followed the updating procedure to the T so I’m not sure that is the problem. Thanks again for your help!
Hi, I so far love the theme thou I am have a couple issues with the template. It seems when I updated to Wordpress 3.5.2 the slider is no longer fitting into space almost like it been bumped down. Also the text doesn’t seem to be responding to paragraph breaks. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the feedback! Please open a Support Ticket with your website details and we would be happy to have a look at this for you.
Hi there! Great theme! But if I open the language file with poedit, the file is empty. Do you have a working language file?
It is WPML Certified, so you would have to use their plugin for translation. Thanks for your purchase!
Hi, only for translating the contact page I must install WPML?!
WPML is the only translation option we offer at this time. If’s fairly easy to manually translate it with another plugin though. If you need help figuring out which files contain which wording just open and a Support Ticket and we would be happy to assist you.
How can I shut off the mobile theme?
Under the General Tab the third option from the bottom is ‘Responsiveness’. Just flip this toggle switch to OFF
Hi! Love the theme. I’m trying to make some modifications that would add functionality for me and the way I’m using it. I suspect some of these are easy to do and some not so easy, but could really use your assistance in accomplishing the changes/figuring out which css file is going to be relevant to change or add to, or if certain things aren’t possible with this theme:
- is a way to keep “slideshow” images/background aligned upper left? I am not using the slideshow functionality; I’m only putting one image in them and using it to make each page have a different background. I need them to align upper left to maintain consistency across screen sizes…
- can the whole floating content area be forced to load lower on the screen or otherwise be resized? where can i do that? what code is relevant?
- how can the menu fonts be changed to other web fonts? what about the body fonts and h1-h6?
I suspect I probably mostly need pointing to the right css file and some guidance on whether or not said file’s contents will override parts of the theme such as the content window alignment.
Thanks very much for your assistance!
Glad you like the theme! We would sincerely appreciate a 5-star rating on ThemeForest once you have had sufficient time to work with it and are satisfied.
1.) If you aren’t using the Slideshow functionality, you should be setting the images as a Static image for background. I’m not entirely sure what you mean by align them to the upper-left, by default they should fill the screen and maintain that consistency across screen sizes.
2.) For these changes activate the Child Theme (so you can still update the theme but maintain your core CSS changes): The floating background can be pushed down by adding changes to the Child Theme style.css adding margin to #top and #content
3.) These can be set in the Flight Option Panel under Fonts: Heading Font
Thanks again for your purchase!

Thanks so much for the fast reply—re: #1, I don’t want them to stretch, I want them to tile so that pixel for pixel in the upper left area it’s always the same and NOT stretched. Is there a simple way to do that?
Thanks re: other answers! Best, Caroline
Sorry I misunderstood, this CSS functionality is built-in already
Simply go to the page you want to edit, and in the bottom right corner there is the Flight Options box. Just set the Background to Texture. Then from the box below just choose whatever image you want to be your ‘Texture’. It will automatically fix to the upper left pixel-for-pixel and tile automatically.
Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for getting back to me on this. A couple more questions..
1) How can I change the menu from being all caps to being regular lettering based on the menu item titles?
2) my line breaks are really not showing up properly. I can’t seem to get an actual break in a line at all, even with br, using p again, etc. where can this be fixed?? my paragraphs basically run into each other as the spacing between lines is the same as the spacing between paragraphs.
3) Are you able to show me what css I can use in the custom css area in the child theme’s style.css to push the main content box down? we talked about this before but there are several possible places for it in the main style.css and I can’t figure out where the appropriate code would go (what element(s))... I just need it pushed down 50-100px whenever it shows, regardless of type of content and need something to point me a little closer to the right spot..
Thanks so much!
In case you want to see waht the text is doing: http://www.beautifulenvironment.com
Also, 4) I’ve tried several times to swap the blog page (in this case titled “on the board”) to a “texture” background, and it will not stick.
Can you open a support ticket at http://support.themesuite.com with these details and temporary login info to your website so we can assist you with this? Thanks!
thanks in advance
Awesome, thanks for the feedback, we would certainly appreciate a 5-star rating if you are happy with it!
The reason the font is bigger in our demo is it is based on how much text you have (as you can see, you have more text). The good news is it is easy to change!
To increase the logo font size:
1.) Enable the child theme (so you can update the theme and not have to redo these changes)
2.) In the child theme’s style.css add:
h1.logo { font-size: 100px !important; }
You can adjust the size by changing the 100px to any number that suits best.
Hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!
PRE-SALE Question:
I learned from reading through the comments, that the Style Switcher is not part of the theme, and can not be added for the website user to set his own preferred options, right?
- Is there a possibility to hide the Body / Content (like the option in the Style Switcher) to give full view at the (background) images?
- Is there a way to pull the background images from a picasa (Google+) Album like described here: http://www.javabeanhosting.com/billing/knowledgebase/25/How-to-add-images-via-Picasa.html
(I want to replace a RapidWeaver site at http://www.hessler-motorsport.de where I tweaked in all these options..)
Thanks in Advance.
regards.
.olaf klein.
The Style Switcher simply is to show you how quickly and easily, as well as the extent to which you can customize this theme. In the amount of time it takes you to customize the Style Switcher you can just as quickly customize a page with the custom option panels we have integrated into the theme.
1.) Yes you can hide the Body / Content – each page has a Flight Option Panel on it, just flip the toggle switch for “No Content” to “ON”.
2.) Yes you can pull background images from any location. On the page you are editing, you simply select ‘Static Background’ in the Flight Options on the right hand side of the editor and then a URL box drops down and you just paste in the URL of your Picasa image.
It’s also worth noting that you can customize each of these options differently on different pages if you want to have a different look, different pictures, different styles, different behaviors and different content on different pages. You can customize it as much or as little as you like!
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Also our Support Department is always available if you need help or if you run into problems.
Hi themesuite,
thanks for the fast reply.
to (1): can the website user (not the panel admin) hide the content to see the background images in full bloom (and then switch back to the content again..)?
to (2): I did not mean static images, i ment to use all images of that picasa album to be used for the background slider.
thanks again.
Greetings from Germany (1:30am here..)

Hi monkeytower,
1.) No, they cannot by default. If you really need this functionality you could purchase a license for Style Switcher for $4 and Pullouts for $9 and we would zip up the files for you to upload and make it just like our Demo Site.
2.) Sorry I misunderstood, in this case you would need to save the Picasa pictures and add them from your computer. On the Images Tab of the Flight Option Panel you hit Browse and choose the Picasa files on your computer from the folder you saved them to.
Thanks for clarifying what you meant!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi themesuite,
let me just state that your (even pre sale) support is great!
I will come back to you on (1), will discuss it with the client. Maybe for next version: What about a button option (similar to the “back to top”): “Hide Content”?
on (2): Pulling images from picasa started as a workaround since RapidWeaver is a static (only present at the web-designer’s desk) solution.. But it came so natural now to share new pictures just via Google+ into the “background” album… But with WP it is not really necessary (tho the G+ effect gets lost..).
My pre-sale questions got more than answered! Thanks a lot!
love. .olaf
Hi monkeytower,
I will mention to our development guys, probably wouldn’t be a big deal as it would just be a CSS class to display: none; on the body and some Javascript to load it on-the-fly.
Let me know if there is anything else we can help with!
Thanks for the comments!
hi, i get these errors, after installing the theme (i installed the theme as is, the only difference being i renamed the folder name of the theme to “treasure”):

Hello!
For some reason my menu’s are not adding. I created a menu and tried to apply and save it to the side nav menu, the flyout, and the footer, and none are appearing to work on any of them. I even tried re-creating the menu again, and applying that one to each.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Do you have the menus appropriately named flyout-menu, side-nav-menu, and footer-menu as outlined in the documentation under Appearance & Menus? If you are still having trouble please open a Support Ticket with your website details and we would be happy to have a look at it for you!
Just did, and it’s working beautifully! Thank you! However, I did run into another problem with a calendar plugin I am trying to use. I believe there is some interference with the jQuery of the flyout menu and the function of the calendar. I’m going to submit a ticket for it now. Thank you!
Hey,
It’s just great theme! Thank you.
But I’m having problem with gallery page. I create media grid and use code in page but I can not see anything :/
Link any suggestion?
Thanks for your purchase rosaselavy! Would you be able to open a Support Ticket with temporary website login details so we can have a look at this for you? Off hand I am not sure why it wouldn’t work, so without seeing it it’s hard to guess.

What is the background image size?
Whatever you want it to be, it will resize and adjust automatically. The bigger the better quality, but the slower it will load and operate. In the demo we just use 1200×800 images. Thanks!
Hello, I need to have a separate static background photo on each page, the static dropdown on each page doesn’t list my photos, what is the problem?
When you select Static Image from the right-hand column you will notice a URL text field drops down below. Simply enter the URL of your photo.
If you are having trouble finding your image URL: Go to Media, click your picture, and in the right column your will see URL. Copy this and paste it into the Static Image URL field on the Page you want the static image background.
Yes, I tried this in Chrome and IE, and I do not see a URL text field drop down. I see a dropdown with no menu choices that says “Select an Option” below Background after selecting Static. Static is the only option that doesn’t give me a field to add to. I will repost on your support forum with my login details.
Thanks, we just received your support ticket, we will look into this right now and back to you shortly!
Hi!
Where can i see your theme running with background video and can i use local video or only youtube/vimeo?
Regards Christoph
Hi Chirstoph,
Thanks for your interest! You can see the theme running with a background video here: http://demo.themesuite.com/flight/flight/index-video.html
Yes, you can use local video (just enter the URL).
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hey,
I really love the look of your theme and am trying to set my homepage up with it. But I am facing some issues with the Media Grid Plug In. 1. When I try to create a Gallery, it doesn’t show the thumbnails from the Media Gallery of WP. 2. When I create a Grid and try to include it in a new page, the page remains empty. On mouse-over I can see that there is a link, if I right click and copy the URL it says ”/thumb%20creation%20failed”.
And my final problem is that when I try to create a support account on your homepage, I get an error message that either my username or purchase code are incorrect. How could the username be incorrect when I try to setup an account? And the purchase code is copied from the txt file I get from themeforest, so should not be wrong either…
Thanks for looking into this for me
Hi pxstrato,
Can you email this information along with your site details and purchase code to support@themesuite.com and we will be happy to assist you with these matters.
Thanks for your purchase!
Hi,
I have a problem with the Blog template. The sidebar did not show up, when I change the setting. I edited the blog-page.php to:
$current_toggle = get_post_meta( $post->ID, ‘sidebar_toggle’, true ); $header_toggle = get_post_meta( $post->ID, ‘header’, true );
Then it displays the sidebar but the dark background top part and the mid overlap. I cant seam to find the problem. I suspect the search field creates this problem.
Thanks for your help Joachim
Hi Joachim,
This is controlled by the div id ‘top’ in the style.css:
#top {
height: 26px;
top: -26px;
position: relative;
}
