can not get background slidshow to work at all

I’m having a nightmare with this theme. I looks lovely but it has many issues. Can they be resolved or am I being stupid?

1. Backgrounds don’t work in Chrome. 2. Incredibly difficult to add galleries. Am I doing something wrong? Can you explain simply? Why can’t I just create a gallery or porfolio, drag and drop some images, and done? Why do I have to link to this image and that thumbnail? Why isnt the thumbnail auto-generated? 3. Documentation poor. 4. Images for header tags (i.e. I have to make images for the header tags). Terrible for SEO. 5. Have to create a thumbnail for each picture in the gallery/portfolio. 6. Too much markup in the code. Makes it difficult to edit.

The HTML version of this template is quite “polite” to use hence the high ratings, but this Wordpress version is the most awkward template I have ever used from Themeforest.

I hope it can be resolved because it really does look beautiful.

Is there a minimal – e.g. blog index, single, header & any function pages only – version of the template available? I bought the HTML5 version & built up my site using that, so don’t want/need the full bells & whistles you offer. Can you help me with just the basics so I can run a simple blog please?

I have an urgent issue with this theme. I have a sortable portfolio. I want to add a few lines of text to each portfolio item. Unfortunately the theme is displaying 2 “more” buttons under the text.

Hi, I just bought your theme, I installed following all the instructions, I put all my data and my photos, but I have had many many many problems with the Sliders Admin : unable to create new slide or delete old ones, and I lost all my slide! I have wordpress 3.5.1

This is the first time I have install a theme. Trying to upload your theme but all I’m getting is this message 500 (Internal Server) Error after it upload.

Have you made this compatible with wp 3.5? If you do, I’ll buy it. The one on your screenshot seems pretty outdated…. 3.5 is changed a lot

How to make navigation sidebar horizontal at footer which is currently at left side

Here’s another one. I have made a simple page. I created a royale slider and entered the shortcode. [royaleslider id “furnishings”] However, I only see the first image. There should be 19 of them. The dots do display at the bottom but not the images. And they are way to low. Also, the slider sizing option does not work even though I have auto resizing selected or even unselected. Same thing. I had to make the images the exact size I need.

One more, I after trying to upload the save sliders data file, I get this warning:

Another issue, I tried using the wordpress tools to import the xml but I get this message:

Sorry, there has been an error. This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number

Ok, so I finally was able to upgrade to 1.63 but now I cannot import my xml option tree settings or sliders that I spent a whole day creating. When I try to import, I get this error: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” I have had so much trouble with this theme and the poor support. I even gave my log in info as requested but nothing happened. I hired a developer to help me but they are just creating more of a mess since they did not originally code it. I had to revert to the original files. I paid for this theme. I promised my client the site would be done last week but due to these bugs and no help, I have not been able to do it.

Hello. After upgrading to Wordpress 3.5, the slider on pages only shows the first image. After that image passes, all the other images are black. This only started after the upgrade to 3.5. I have v1.63 of the theme installed. Is there a way to fix or is there an updated version that is more compatible with Wordpress v3.5?

I just checked the version number and I have version 1.52, so this may be the issue.

How can I upgrade to version 1.63?

I downloaded the zip file again from ThemeForest and it’s still version 1.52! The sidebar to the right of this comment on Themeforest also says the latest version is from June 6 (version 1.52).
