i noticed that in quick view no options product are available and also if you click on Add to Cart do not works and theme simply switch to smartphone mode in the quick view window.

Hi, there are no options in the quickview popup as some products may have lots of them and there’s no place to fit them properly. We want to keep the quickview lightweight and quick to load.
The Add to Cart in quickview was due to the fact that we’ve made our demos secured with SSL and the button was still pointing to htttp instead of https. It’s fixed now, thanks for pointing it out!

My host has been having difficulties all day and I haven’t been able to do much of anything with the site…it works for a bit and then it’s down again ….so once things are straightened out I can go back and check things out better. It may just be a setting that didn’t get saved right the last time it went down in the middle of making changes. :0(

Hi, it’s possible in Journal – Custom Sections add in new arrivals, specials, featured, best sellers… the products automaticaly, or i must to select one-by-one.

Hi, you have to add them one by one for each section. This module does not pull your products automatically, it allows you to build your own custom sections and name them however you want. Thanks!
ok… maybe in futures updates you can add custom tabs with the defaults modules (new arrivals, specials, featured, best sellers)..

What do you mean by the autosearch details in admin? The autosuggest feature automatically pulls your existing products and populates the list with those containing the typed letter.

Hi, we don’t have any right now but we’ll put in some controls tonight. You can enable/disable the feature with some css very easily.
Yes, at least some enable/disable function which allow customer can have an option to control rather using 3rd party or built in, just my 2cents concern to your team… :>

I saw you guys updated the theme with new features. Unfortunately it comes with errors and no documentation around 1.6 Any chance you will update it soon so we can find out what is not working properly?

Hi, the php fix is working. Thanks for the update. one other small question though. I cannot seem to find the white background part of the homepage. i want to have it all white such as your http://journal.digital-atelier.com/4_3 It seems that i can only make the background of the content part transpartent or i need to completeley remove the background image. What is the setting of that part. On category pages it is working but on the homepage a cannot find it.

Hello, I like this theme but I want to use it with my Arabic/English site, but I have few questions: 1. Does it support Arabic characters? 2. Will it become from right to left if I select Arabic, and left to right if I select English? 3. Is it a multilingual theme? Is it easy to translate it to Arabic? 4. Does it support multistore? 5. Can I make home page 2 or three columns style? Thanks
Hi, this theme is multi-lingual but does not support Arabic or RTL language. It can be made to support RTL but needs to be done by a developer experienced with RTL languages. Yes, v.1.6 supports multi-store in the form of allowing you to save different Control Panel settings for different stores. 2 or 3 columns are possible with custom css modifications.

Hi, we do have another version and it’s coming in a couple of days. There are lots of new features like Multi-store functionality (save different skins per different store), the ability to export all control panel settings and then import them back on new installations, Search Auto-Complete (with products) Product Slider module, and many other.
All updates are free for all buyers, so you can buy at any time and just redownload the theme when an update is ready.
You can change any menu however you want, but I’m not exactly sure what you intend to change it, please give us more details.

For the menu I would like to move the logo from the left to the middle and not have it in a box but have it arranged so it is behind the top and bottom menus, is this possible?

Hi, after you purchase this theme you will get email notifications whenever an update is ready.
The menu can not be positioned in the middle without recoding the css but every color can be edited from the Control Panel. More people have been requesting the middle logo option so we’re working on this feature too,but it’ll be included in v.1.7, early next month.

1. The Categories on the top doesn’t look like your theme and nor does it display’s the 3rd level categories
2. The Categories column in the inner pages doesn’t work like the one you have in the demo. The subcategories don’t slide down.

Hi, thanks a lot! You didn’t do anything wrong, you just run an older theme version and those features weren’t available. You run 1.3.4 and the current version is 1.5.3. However, before you download the current version I suggest you wait until tomorrow (latest wednesday, depending on the upload queue) for the very latest update 1.6 which brings even more new features. Once that’s up on Themeforest just download it again from your downloads page and install it over the existing one. I recently purchased it, and I cannot pass the point of copying your three directories to my site, because now it says “Journal modules are not enabled!” on a blank page. I already submitted a support ticket. Hope you can help me with what I´m sure is a silly problem.

Hi! Purchaised theme some time ago and fully satisfied with it. One question – does it compatible with VQMOD? I am trying to install VQMOD now and gerrting error:
” Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@oreola.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Checked all permissions – everything looks correct. Any ideas?
Hi, Journal is fully compatible with vQmod and this doesn’t seem to be related to the actual theme. Here’s some info on installing vqmod https://code.google.com/p/vqmod/wiki/Install_OpenCart
