I tried adding a code from my Google AdSense ad into sidebar.html It shows a blank space. No ads from Google AdSense are working anywhere with this theme :/

AdSense is just piece of html-code. If it’s inserted correctly, it must appear in any place you paste it. Please recheck the code.
I checked. Pasted the same code on a static html page and it works. It’s just with this theme.
But the theme doesn’t have any scripts that can cause this issue. It’s build on the default phpbb3 theme and has quite a little code modification.
You are the first who says it has issues with AdSense.
I know, I have been trying to figure out a reason for the same since morning. No luck :/
OK, I’ll try to find out how to fix the issue. I’ll let you know if I find anything helpful.

This may solve the problem.
Just tested it on the demo forum. If I place the ad code into the ‘sidebar.html’ or ‘overall_header.html’ templates, the ads don’t show. But if I place the code into ‘index_body.html’, everything goes OK.
oh. but why is that? i even tried in viewtopic_body.html doesn’t show

Is the file really located there? Did you check?
no idea – I am not a script-heroe 
first installed phpbb – then the social network, then after .. xxxx times it worked with the normal subsilver theme .. then I used FTP and sent your bw theme over it, installed and activated it in the admin panel, deactivated and deinstalled the subsilver and reloaded – peng, this message … so I went back and deactivated yours deinstalled yours, reinstalled subsilver – cleaned cache per c-cleaner, started new browser – but still same message … any idea what I messed up ?
installation guide of social network tells something about—you must copy all files from subsilver theme to your new theme .. but I hardly can copy the subsilver css.style to your theme because the styles would overwrite yours …

The point is that vBulletin is a commercial CMS and you have to buy a license to use it and phpbb is a completely free software. But vBulletin has lots of features that phpbb doesn’t have and if you want to add a feature like that into your phpbb3 forum, you have to manually edit lots of files sometimes. As for the rest they don’t differ much – they are modern community software.

phpbb3 doesn’t have a theme option page. So the colors can only be changed through editing the css template files. These are the files to edit -
colours.css common.css content.css cp.css responsive.css

Hello, Your theme is beautiful! I have one question right now. On the link entitled “The Team,” somehow it is listing moderators that have been deactivated or are no longer in the moderator user group. It’s like it is pulling historical results too.
Is there a simple way to only display current moderators/admins or barring that just remove “the team” link from all pages? As a side note to that, I have thought about making little bio posts for each of my team members. Would there be a way on “the team” page to include additional information other than just the list and rank?

If you just want to delete the link, find the ‘overall_footer.html’ template of the theme, then just delete the following line -

But I think there should be a way to delete unnecessary info without it. Did you try to purge the cache? It may be the reason.

As a matter of fact phpbb has a huge number of addons for almost any case. And most of the can be found here – https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/modifications-1/

I have one quick question, not sure if anyone else has asked this yet but, is there a way to get the tabs from the top to be added else where on the site. Like for an example I’ve added a portal page for my front page and I wanted to add the to the body of this portal page.
I don’t quite understand. The tabs appear on all forum, CMS and blogs pages. You want to use them on other cms-software?
I want to add the tabs in the area of like the body of the pages, not at the top. In the body itself of the pages is where I want to add them. Or in the area of the side block. Is any of that possible?

I realize that the “Members” icon is missing if you are not logged in, so that’s fine.
The website still has issues in Internet Explorer and Chrome. Chrome the site log doesn’t scale properly and Internet Explorer is trying to display the smaller forum menu icons when it shouldn’t.

Which version of IE you’re using?
Yes, sorry about that. I’m talking about the site logo.
I think I might have been on an older version of IE and Chrome at work. IE ver. 10.0.92 and Chrome ver. 27.0.14 works for me.
Firefox 21.0 still has the resizing issues with the logo though and overlaps the block tabs for “FAQ”.

abbcode.html is not a core phpbb3 template. It looks like a template from a third-party plugin. The main template is bbcode.html.
I love your theme – but i am having serious problems trying to get my Main Logo to work.
I’d like to replace the Main Logo bar and the FAQ Members buttons and have a banner that goes across the top of the entire page. I will then have to figure out how to add FAQ and Members to a Navigation Bar.
I am also going to have to change all of the Metro_Red colour elements, because it is not really red – more like a maroon colour. (My Forum is for a sports team that is red…) Is this easy to do?
It’s a really clean theme and i like the responsive design. It would be nice if there was a menu bar or navigation bar included that was easy to customize in the ACP.

Well, you need quite a serious customization. You should be familiar with html- and css-coding or find somebody to do it.

All the icons and graphic elements can be found in the PSD-folder. Then you can just edit theme and get the color you need.

Unfortunately, phpbb3 doesn’t have such functionality. And all these are achieved by editing the templates.

Go to AdminCP – Styles & Templates – Style Manager – YOUR_THEME – Style Variable Editor. Here you should check ‘Show Only Customized StyleVars’ checkbox and change some of the color variables too.

FAQ.php (FAQ content ) link on navigation works just need to edit content not sure where to find it?
By default it’s stored in a file -
