how do i add an index of all blog posts to the menu?
Please read the documentation that comes with the theme, any common questions can be answered within the documentation.
on your demo site, there is a menu item called ‘categories’, under which there are indexes of portfolios sorted by category. how do i accomplish this on my site?
Hi, add your categories to your menu.
Hi,
I would like to use the “Light Paper Fiber” Style on the blog and Galleries, how to do that?
Thanks!
Hi, to install custom styles for your site navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Style and add styles from the “styles” folder to “Custom CSS” block. You can upload a background for your sidebar/site from the theme options panel. You can find all the backgrounds here http://subtlepatterns.com/
Thanks!
Very nice theme, thanks! Is there a way to change the dimensions of the images displayed in the WordPress galleries (not a gallery post type)?
Hi, sorry, what you have described isn’t available with the theme.
I can’t figure out how to change the style to black? I looked in documentation as well, please help.
Thanks!

Hi
Installed the theme and the custom CSS does not seem to be working.
I noticed in the header there is a themes/skylab/css/switcher.php?default=default.css but I don’t seem to see a CSS folder in the package.
Hi, please re-download and re-install the theme.
Hello, MegaTheme,
Pre-order question: Is that possible to use portfolios view (like on demo version) for blog posts? (explaining: on main page showing grid with photos, and if you clicking on photo-you moving to blogs post). Couse I need these theme for personal photo blog, without portfolio) Thanks!

@natwald @MegaTheme Thanks, for the life of me I couldn’t find this documentation file. Didn’t know there’s a drop down menu. I think I downloaded the install file like eight times! Thanks
Hi
Thanks for a great theme!
Two things:
1: I have tried for a long time to make my contact form look like that on your sample page (http://demo.megathe.me/skylab/contact/) with “Name/Surname”, “E-mail address” etc. to the left of the form and not above it. How is that done?
2: How do you change the default size of the contact form boxes?
Bo
Hi, thank you for the purchasing!
- Please use our contact form code which you can find in the documentation.
- Sorry, what do you mean by “default size”?
Hi MegaTheme! How can I config Portfolio Gallery to display many images in each silde (often are 3 images likes on your demo Website) on Portfolio Gallery Screen. My Portfolio Gallery just display one image in each slide. Thanks for reply!
Hi, select “iosSlider” slider type from “Portfolio Settings” meta box.
@faemow Click on Downloads on this site, then Main File(s)
@marienoisette Re: Chrome. I’m not getting any squares anywhere. OS 10.7.5
Thanks @marienoisette that worked. Although the second column jumps down to one column all to easily. Why don’t they just compress?
@MegaTheme Please update your skylab-documentation.html
Hi, what exactly should I update? Column shortcodes work just fine for us. If you wish we can set up them for you.
It’s not the fact that it works or not. It’s the way the documentation is written. It needs to explain exactly what you need to do. You write ‘You must end each set of columns with a last=”true” option such as one_half last=”true”.’
Where? For instance, you could write ‘You must edit each set of shortcodes from[one_half_last]Insert your content here.[/one_half_last] to [one_half last="true"]Insert your content here.[/one_half]'
If that’s true because it doesn’t work in another case.
Please tell the right way of doing this. Thanks
Hi, your code is fine.
Hi MegaTheme,
Important / 19.06.2013
I don’t know if I’m the only one in this case, but on my computer (mac) there are some problems on Google Chrome (Last version 27.0.1453.116). I mean not only with my site, but even with your demo. Little squares everywhere… (menu, submenus, google map). Have a look please. Thanks !
Marie
Hi Marie!
Everything looks fine for us.
Well, good news
May be something wrong on my side… (OS 10.8.4 for info).
Still, I’m sending you asap a few screenshots by mail so that you can see what’s happening on my screen.
Also the Contact Formular doesn’t have the same size on Safari, Chrome & Firefox… But may be this is just me again…
About Formular, I prefer how it shows on Firefox (label & input on the same line ? on 2 lines on Safari & Chrome). Thanks for your help !
Sorry didn’t quite understand your question.
I’ve used your formular on my site (contact page). It looks perfect on Firefox, but on Safari & Google Chrome it doesn’t -> for example Name is on one line, and the “input white box” is under it, on another line… Same for Mail, Subject etc. How is it possible ? And how can I change that ? I’d like this contact page to look the same way on every browser ! Like on Firefox for instance. You already have my site link in your mail box if you want to check. Thanks !
and where do I find the xml file? Cannot find it in the .zip folder
You will need to download not Installable WordPress file but Main File(s) where you can find the XML file.
n00b question, but where can I find this “extensive documentation” to follow step by step instructions? I downloaded OptionTree, but I’m still quite lost. I want to have a similar look as the Skylab portfolio list demo page. Is there a “masonry” button I haven’t turned on yet?
Hi, you will need to download not Installable WordPress file but Main File(s) where you can find the documentation.
@ natwald Sorry for previous post… another try
[one_third]Text column1.[/one_third] [two_third last="true"] [contact-form-7 id="12" title="Contact Form"] [/two_third]
@natwald if it can help…
Regarding column shortcodes -> Had the same problem… Here is the code I got from MegaTheme. It worked for me.
text column 1.[/one_third]
two_third last=”true” [/two_third]
hello MegaTheme, Many thanks for the great theme. Question: Is there a way to update the theme without using FTP, directly from the Wordpress panel? I tried to install the new update but it says the folder already exists. Since I’m not the administrator of the host, I don’t have access to it. Thanks
Hi, to upload directly on WordPress select the Appearance panel, then Themes. Next activate default Twenty Twelve theme and delete current version of Skylab theme. Select Install Themes. Use the Upload link in the top sub-menu to upload a zipped copy of a Theme that you have previously downloaded to your machine.
Oh dear http://redfieldmedia.co.uk/work/contact.png I want the fields to be wider and the send button to align right, the gaps between the fields to be less and the ’* mandatory fields’ note like in your demo. I had to use Firebug to look up the code. Why isn’t in the drop down Format button?
Also, I assume you use [one_half_last] for the right column? Why does the code appear? What does ‘You must end each set of columns with a last=”true”’ mean? I tried [/one_half_last=”true”] ?
Thanks
The form code is:<p class="input-block">Your Name<span class="required">*</span>
[text* Name 40/ class:input-block]</p>
<p class="input-block">Your Email <span class="required">*</span>
[email* YourEmail 40/ class:input-block]</p>
<p class="input-block">How did you hear about us
[text Howdidyouhearaboutus 40/ class:input-block]</p>
<p class="textarea-block">Your Message<span class="required">*</span>
[textarea* your-message 40x4]
[submit "Send Message"]</p>
