This theme is so beautiful it makes me drool!
I just have a few pre-purchase questions. I hope you don’t mind.
1) Is it just me or does the theme have some issues rendering for Safari? I’ve checked it on Firefox and Chrome and it looks fab, but on Safari when you click on a call to action button, the text jumps to the left a little. Also when you hover over the View Larger or More Details buttons on the portfolio shortcode, it causes the portfolio item title and the meta details to flicker.
2) I noticed that the update change log for version 1.6 says to can use multiple accent colours. Does this mean that there can be a different accent colour for each page? Is there a limit to the number of accent colours used throughout the site?
3) Can you specify the categories and the number of posts that show in the recent posts shortcode? Could I therefore show only posts in the category “Latest News” on the homepage?
4) Can portfolio tumbnails link to custom URLs rather than a set portfolio page?
5) Can I add custom background images and custom background colours to the full width sections?
Phew, I think that’s more than enough! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

1. I do see the flicker on Safari you speak of. It’s only happening in the masonry zone (not in the recent work shortcde). Safari is known for text rendering issues like this, but I will take a look into it and see if I can’t solve it!
2. There’s 4 accent colors you can assign and they will simply be used when you select one for select shortcode elements like the icons, buttons, progress bars etc. You can also create full width sections using as many colors, patterns or images are you want – so you’re not limited there 
3. This is a feature being worked on at the moment and should be included in the next update.
4. This would require some custom development.

I was really hoping this would be possible. Would it be a big job or do you think the average users could get to grips with those custom developments. Another alternative (which I’ve used before) is to use the Justified Image Grid plugin for portfolio thumbnails and link the images to custom URLs that way. Alternatively, can I build the portfolio pages using full width sections and without the sticky sidebar?

1. It’s not necessarily the font, but just the javascript plugin creating the layout. As I said, I’ll investigate more
4. Right now there’s only the option to use the sidebar, but the future might hold some extended functionality with this section.
It wouldn’t be that hard, but you would need to be comfortable with WordPress/php coding. Essentially you would need to create a new input box in which you would save your desired external URL for each project and then use that value on the front for the more details link.

Sounds a bit complicated for my limited know-how! Those custom URLs for portfolios are a bit of a must for the project I have in mind so I’ll put some thought to it for a workaround.

anyway, i have a few questions:- what is the default font for the demo?
- any option to hide author “Posted By” in blog section?
- how to set home slider button to diff color? notice my button in home_slider_3 in bitcoindonesia.com is so faint (however, the button has diff color when i view it from my iphone).
- how to set footer from 4 column to 3 ??
- when we click “Read More” in blog, it takes you to the half way of the article? how to disable this? i want when we click ReadMore, itll bring you to the article like href did.

2. You’d have to open up the template files inside of includes/post-templates-pre-3-6/ and manually delete the line that creates that.

Hi, There are a few things I need to know about this theme:
1) I wanted to know if there is any height limit for the parallax banner. I needed the banner to be full screen (responsive for different resolutions). Is this possible with the theme?
2) Also I need to implement a tooltip plugin for some of the images – do you have something of the sort already included in this theme – or will I have to purchase and implement it myself.
3) Each page for the site will need to have a different content area colour (full width). Are there any options for this?

1. You can set the height to whatever you need, but there’s no full screen option where it would change depending on screen size – that would have to be a custom modification.
2. There’s no built in tooltip, but I doubt you’d have to purchase one as there’s probably a ton of free ones that work good
3. You can indeed create a fullwidth content area with any color or image of your choosing by using our shortcodes.

Hello, Hi, I’ve just updated you theme and find out that shortcodes generator doesn’t work anymore. yes, this was an accidental small bug included with the new version. It’s a quick fix though and you can take care of it yourself now so you don’t have to wait for the next update.
Open up your shortcode-processing.php file located inside of nectar/tinymce. Once in there, run a search for “audio” to end up at the relevant section (it’s basically at the bottom of the file). Take the line
return $audio_markup;and move it inside of the curly bracket so it looks like this:
return $audio_markup;
}

I found out what the problem was. I was still using the old version of the audio-shortcode: ([audio mp3_url=”url..” oga_url=”url..”]) instead of the new version ([audio mp3=”url..” ogg=”url..”])! just noticed they were different.. Take care!

Hello, In the footer when I use the widget “recent project”, I don’t have thumbnails for video project. I have a black square. (In my page portgolio I have my thumbnails working.

As long as you’ve assigned a featured image, the widget should display it. Are you using a custom thumbnail for your video project instead? Also what version of the theme are you on?

make sure you’re uploading an image in the project configuration box for “Custom Thumbnail Image” As well as the preview image for the video, as they are two different things. It’s the Custom Thumbnail Image that will be populating the widget for recent work – if it’s still not working please open a private ticket on the support forum with your credentials so I can login and take a look for you

All of the parameters for the shortcodes can be assigned through the generator, so essentially if you can’t do it there there are no extra things to add. However, in the next update I will be extending the functionality of that shortcode a little but to offer categories selection
Cool. Awesome theme, let me ask my question in a different way, is there any way to change the recent_projects section to list more than 3 thumbnails in carousel format? Say… 8 thumbnails, 4 across in non-carousel format? Just curious.
You would have to modify the recent work shortcode processing function to accomplish that.

One more thing… If I look at my homepage from a mobile device and then click on the menu symbol I see my menu as it should be. But if I click on a submenu (arrow down symbol), the whole menu is closing and just when I open the menu again, it shows the menu with the submenu I clicked before. Same thing happens when I want to close a submenu. Is this how it should work? I think this is a bit inconvenient.
