Could not fix it by adding ” in the beginning…

Any help here?

You must have broken something because everything works by default.

Comment edited: I was looking for the Drupal version, I’ll continue there. :)

Hello Vasterad. I am having issues with the homepage breaking up in a mobile view. It worked fine previously, despite a good deal of customization I added to it. If you could take a look and respond, I would greatly appreciate it. www.volantic.com The homepage seems to be the only page effected. Thank you.

Hi Vasterad. First of all, thanks a lot for your template – great work! We are using the startpage quite similar as you do in the demo page with the big slider image and a grey box on it (‘slide-caption’). Unfortunately this box disappears through the responsive effect on small screens. But this caption is veray important for our page. Is there any possibility to show this caption everywhere? Thanks for your help and kind regards

Hi, yes. At the bottom of style.css there’re media queries. So go there and find class “caption”, it’s disabled by “display: none;”

Hi Vasterad, I’m using the about-us.html for presenting members of my company, but I still have problems aligning the pictures so they social icons won’t appear too close to the next column of 3 pictures.

I sent you an email with more detailed info about my problem including screenshots. I hope you can reply soonish.

Thanks

Hi, could you resend that message? I didn’t receive any. However the best would be link to your site.

Hi again, and sorry for the delayed reply! I was away for couple of days. My site is not up yet, don’t worry I’ll send you a link for when it’s ready for the last check :)

Anyhow, I’ve resent my older email to your info(at)vasterdad -box

Thanks

Hi, I would like to know how to add links to the images on the slideshow.

Thank you.

In LayerSlider or Flexslider?

Hm, which slider do you use?

Thank you for your reply. http://a-toniq.com/glenn/index.html Also I’d like to fix the images on top of each pages to fit in on mobile screen. Thank you so much.

You must add sizes in media queries for header.

thank you

Hello, Thank you for an amazing template! I have a question, I put background image on the header and the menu buttons don’t work property on mobile screen. Is there any solution to solve this problem please?

header {

min-height: 100px; background-image: url(../images/head_bg.png); width:1030px; height:123px; margin-top:-40px; margin-left:-35px; margin-right:-50px; margin-bottom:15px; }

Thank you.

Could you provide a link to your site?

Hi, I’m very interested in this awesome looking template as it has everything I need for my company. I have a question before my possible purchase: I’m not much a of a coder, still learning so I’m aiming for something that I can easily edit to serve my purpose and already have some good ideas for this template. The only thing that I’d like to change on this one is the content under the contact tab. I’d like to have exactly the same contact-template you can see in the Nevia template. What I mean is that I’d like the contact details and map to be shown as in Nevia. I dont know if this is possible and if so, will it be possible to get help on this after purchasing?

kind regards,

- D

Hi, I’m sure you won’t have any problems with customizations Centum and contact page however customizations are over the support and I couldn’t help you so much. Maybe you should take a look on WordPress version if you’re not really coder? :)

Hi, I bought this template 1 minute ago, but could not install the zip.folder. I get the message from the Plugin-WP installer – could not install, missing style.css Stylesheet Original in german: Das Paket konnte nicht installiert werden. Dem Theme fehlt das style.css Stylesheet.

Die Themeinstallation ist fehlgeschlagen.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Hi, it’s HTML template not WordPress theme. Here’s WordPress release available to buy http://themeforest.net/item/centum-responsive-wordpress-theme/3216603?ref=Vasterad

Vasterad,

I absolutely love this template! I noticed you’re being featured this week on the TF homepage so I’m sure you’re very busy with sales and comments/questions, sorry to take up some of your time! Your work is SO easy to use and customize, I’ve only gotten stuck on one small thing.

I’m familiar with grid systems like 960gs and others, but I need to have my logo centered on the template, rather than off to the left, and I can’t see to figure out how to make that happen. I want it centered exactly in the middle of the page / browser window, above the navigation menu. I’ve tried using a 16col div and putting three 1/3 column div’s inside of that one – leaving the first and last 1/3 div empty with a small snippet of hidden text content to keep them in place; and putting my logo in the middle one, that sort of worked; but then I realized the logo was still a little farther to the left than it should be.

Ideally, what I want for the header area above the navigation is to have nothing on the left side, the logo centered, and then the social media buttons off to the right. Am I doing something wrong? I’m sure this is an easy fix and there’s something I’m not seeing here… thank you!

Vasterad, thanks for your replies! I switched my code to what you mentioned above as far as the CSS positioning. This works and get its perfectly center, but, it did make the navigation menu collide with the centered logo. I couldn’t seem to fix so I just gave the 16 column div that encases the navigation menu a margin-top of 40px or so and it looks great. I was also able to add the social media buttons to the upper-right corner, above the logo, just as it is in the online preview. The really odd thing is that, when I re-positioned the logo using the CSS you provided, it made the social media buttons stop working. They no longer show their colors when you roll-over them, and when I hover on them – they display the title text that I’ve assigned to my LOGO, and I can’t click on the links to go to the various facebook, twitter sites etc. What did I do wrong? :-)

Vasterad, I’m not sure if this helps you to understand, but, I just know its got something to do with the positioning used for centering the logo. If I do either of these things, the social buttons work fine again:

- remove the -36px margin-top from the div id=”logo” - OR, remove this: left: 0; right: 0; from the CSS on the div id=”logo”

(Obviously, removing that CSS makes the logo no longer centered), but it fixes the other stuff for some reason. Hmmm..I’m confused. :-P

With all respect but… much text without link to your site isn’t helpful to me. :D

Hey Vasterad,

i like your template. It’s great! ;-)

But I can’t use ags like <b> <i> ...</i></b>. Dou you know why? <strong /> works …

Thanks for help and greetings from germany!

Hi, these tags are not styled. Add this to base.css
b { font-weight: bold; }
i { font-style: italic; }

When viewing the homepage on a smaller screen or phone, the captions in the slider don’t appear. Is there a workaround for this?

Yes, go to the media queries at the bottom of style.css and remove caption classes from “display: block” however they’re not really readable on small screen.

Can you tell me why the first two bullet points under ‘Strategies’ & ‘Management’ on this page http://www.zaynab.ae/services.html are misaligned?

I have tried to find the solution but no luck so far

TIA.

Hm, maybe try to add inline CSS to:

1. Icon style="margin-bottom:0;"

2. Ul list style="margin-top: 30px;"

Must works. :P

I’m looking in the Style CSS but I have been unable to find: 1. Icon style

2. Ul list style

I really would like to try and fix this. And of course my thanks for your quick replies. I would say that I have spent a lot of time looking so as to not waste your time but unfortunately I have not found this in the any of the CSS files

But fix works for me using firebug, so… :P

Hi there

How is the search box supposed to work?

There is no call to action to submit a query

Please advise

No offend, but please check other templates. I can’t include mySQL to HTML template to “Site Templates” category.

Vasterad, I am not saying you should include mySQL into an HTML template, I understand there are limitations.

But I am however saying if your Search Box does not work, for whatever reason, it should not be there.

But many people implement HTML templates to any CMS and use features that doesn’t work by default in HTML template because needs PHP and database. What’s more, most of HTML templates are prepared for WordPress. That’s why. :)

Hi,

I would like to know what responsive framework you used? Or did you setup the media queries yourself and define the grid structure? Thanks!

Thank you so much, I’ve seen skeleton before, and I really like the way this template reacts to breakpoints! Great Job!

Thanks. :)

Hi there! Hope you’re well.

Question re making links a different color from CSS throughout site in the Lower Left area where it says Efficacy Claims – we want the text links to be green to match the one in the footer. http://www.azomite.com/domestic_test.html

I remember we made the .links-list li:last-child a { color: #8cbd2a !important; }

but don’t know what name the lower left block has been assigned.

THANK YOU! :)

Hi, sorry but it’s not really possible in this case because it’s not list or something what you can hook CSS. :P

Updating from version 1.0 to 2.0 and using Notepad++ compare plugin to check all my changes between the versions so I don’t lose my changes. Noticed in your older version of flexslider.js that it had the flowing code at the tail. Question: is it still needed as the newer version doesn’t contain it?

Here the old code: $(window).load(function() { $('.flexslider').flexslider(); });

Great update – thank you – FYI_ noticed there isn’t any help link to the new layerslider.js. No big deal – got it at http://kreaturamedia.com/layerslider-responsive-jquery-slider-plugin/

Since 2.0 FlexSlider builder is in custom.js

Hi! Just downloaded the template. Two questions. All of the images are gray. Are these Just placeholders, or is something missing? The image names in the example doesn’t match what was in the download. Also, having an issue in IE 7,8,9 and 10(doesn’t matter which doc mode). The styling on the pages are really messed up. Looks like the navigation is getting included in the slider because it is disappearing? Missing a closing tag or something? the content is all pushed to the left side. I’ve used many templates but never had to troubleshoot an html issue out of the box before? I did download twice thinking it was a download issue maybe. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks.

Hi, could you write from account where did you buy my template? I just cannot see your buyer badge.

Thanks so much for your constant support and quick replies!

One last question… Can I add a background to the media slider that will hold its place as the images load? like a loading GIF or something like that? right now the bottom of my page appears then the slider loads and then everything snaps into place.

Same as before, Flexlider doesn’t have a such option. I’d recommend to use LayerSlider with simple transitions. ;)

is there a way I can update to Centum 2.0? I just purchased like 10 days ago

Sure, just download it again from your downloads page. Updates are totally free. :)
