Will this theme make my breakfast in the morning? 
I don’t think that TF reviewers will react as fast, if we submit it tomorrow, it will take 1 or 2 days to get approved so enjoy your breakfast

I saw you post this comment in a response to a recent poster: “thanks a lot for your message, single item page you mean company page correct ? this will be the best page of all we will release it in v2 it will look great (the current one is quite simple) the new one will includes very complete features structured into categories (I won’t say more )”
Is it safe to assume that we will be able to begin loading up items (companies) into the directory without fear of having to just re-do them all when v2 comes out? Or should v2 be able to keep the info entered in v1 and just add the extra features you have discussed?
VERY, VERY excited about this theme. It looks to solve some problems I was having with other directory themes.
Hi you won’t need to worry because we will be adding options not replacing them for example: v1: company name, description, social icons v2: company name, description, social icons, portfolio + we’ll have a bulk import on v2 which means that you can import as many companies as you want from a CSV file

Now, struggling to find a good freelance to completely re-design GeoTheme, I’m reading here that you’re going to release a Wordpress version of Glocal.
Could you honestly tell me if it’s better to go-ahead with the GT customisation or wait for your Glocal V1 and V2? I need local NGOs to be able to submit their non-profit projects and events, so front-end submission has to be 100% bullet proof.

i personally heard good thins about GT now the thing is we really want to make of Glocal a top selling directory, not only because it looks good but also by combining a proper balance between UI & UX
As mentionned earlier, we should be submitting v1 within Friday (the only thing missing right now is the payment gateway so hopefully it’s ready & tested before Friday inchallah) then between v1 and v2 you’ll need to wait more or less 250 hours (with 2 developers working on it that’s approximately 14 days)
So if you can wait then I would suggest you to wait, if not then you can purchase the HTML version of Glocal and ask someone to link the GT back-end to the Glocal Front-end

Will the wordpress theme have a click to locate feature? As in you click a button named something like “locate around me” and once clicked everything around you is visible which could also be adjusted by radius around your position

Hi, thanks for interest, to answer your questions. 1- featured listing will be on the right sidebar of the homepage 2- in version2 that will be release 250 hours after v1, portfolio & video will be offered to companies that they can edit directly on the front-end
we’re really working hard to get this v1 online, there are less than 90 hours left (should be submitted on Friday inchallah)
then we’ll have a sort of idea box so that buyers can propose ideas and we will prioritize them for v3, v4 etc.. it’s a continuous process we would like to have a very complete directory that could suit everyone’s needs

I’ve checked the work of developers yesterday and the current status is that we are 110 Hours away for the first release (there are currently 2 developers working on the project and they will be working this week-end) so we’re almost there.
Version 2 & 3 is about 250 hours of development and should cover all major features such as front-end editing, bulk import, WPML, SEO optimization, rating, advertising, advanced search by proximity and company portfolio

hi its really a very good template i like it very much i am interested in buying it but i have few questions before i buy.
1 how will the google maps work – till the user registration its fine but how do the registered users use the google maps.
2 if lot of users registers and uses their google maps then how will i use the map location in the first page for displaying all.
i think of using php mysql and storing the location details in mysql db but how to implement it thereafter.

Salam, from the UI the difference is pretty clear, now in terms of UX we received a whole list of comments with propositions that we took into consideration and will be implementing them in various steps1, it will include front-end registration, SEO optmized, advanced search… so basically we’ll be doing our best to gradually add more and more features & functionalities. it’s a matter of days then we’ll release all the details & roadmap within the Glocal WP item description Cheers UOU Apps

Thanks for your interest, There are many stats plugins on codecanyion that you can integrate within the Glocal theme. + some of them are connected to google analytics, I’ll share the idea with the developers maybe we buy a plugin with extended license and add it to the package. we’ll do it for v2, because we’re running out of time and we need to publish v1 asap (every one has been waiting now for a while)

Have you submitted wp version to TF? To say that I have been desperately waiting for wp would be an understatement.. I hope the theme doesn’t disappoint.. Also what would be great is if you can provide roadmap for next few months what all features will come as update and what all will be paid plugin.. I have couple of big projects lined up with tons of data and I could really use a license or two..
you won’t be dissapointed, our first challenge is to get it approved with v1, then i’ll share the list of features that will be implemented for v2, v3, it will be a continuous & ongoing process. i have 2 php developers working on it. we had troubles with flexicv wp that’s why we had delays.
And these V2 and V3 will be a new product of a free upgrade to wp owners?
free upgrade of course, we would like to offer the best CMS Directory online. evolution of the version will be in concordance with the volume of sales, based on all these feedbacks we’re quite confident about the sales so the updates should happen smoothly.
