Is the testimonials feature a third party plugin or something custom made? We need our clients to be able to post their own testimonials which we then approve – happy to use a third party testimonials plugin but not sure if it would work and integrate with the theme properly?

It is integrated within the theme as a shortcode. You can build your own solution based on the shortcode styling.
Ours is bul-tin and just uses the flexslider for the animation. You would need to sue a plugin if you want clients to be able to post their own. Not sure about which plugin as we have not used one like that.
Or you can just have them send the testimonial in t you via the contact form. Then you insert them on the site.

I am looking to purchase your Them, but I am not sure if it can create the slide I want.
I am to create a home page slide with 4-5 big Thumbs (with text and images) either vertical next to the showing slide or vertical under the showing slide, so visitors can click on any Thump box to show it as the main slide. how can I do it with your Them, I tried all your slide at the demo page but couldn’t find this one.

You can use the layer or rev slider and the thumbanils will go below the slider portion, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/thumbnail-nav-large/. You can put any text or images on each slider, and the thumbs below control the slider navigation

There is also a small thumb slider for both layer and rev. you can control the size of thumbnails in slider settings.
If this is not what you are referring to, please provide an example for me to see.

You can control the thumbnail size and the slider size. But it will not look like that sample with the text and image as thumbnail. The thumbnail is whatever image you upload.

ok,, so I can create the image with the borders and any design … then load it as a one image and change the size .. and also I can add text on top of it .. right?
The text you add needs to be added to the image, it has to be one image you upload as a thumbnail, and that thumbnail has to be the exact size you specify. Changing the size of the thumbnail after the fact with text on it will distort it.
To be honest though, the thumbnail sliders are not meant for text on thumbnails, its meant for just images. Text would have to be added on the image BEFORE you make the slider in Wordrpess. Just wanted to make sure you know that,

All our pages are built using shortcodes, its very easy to do and you can build any type of custom page with them. We are adding a page builder but not until sometime in the further.
Editing text/images is easy and done the same way in WP no matter what the theme.

I’ve been having problems with the them not responding to the changes i make on the back end. It seems to not updated right away, sometimes even if i’m signed in.
Hmmm, do you have a cache plugin installed? If so you need to clear the cache or its best to turn that off while making changes.

If you go to the website http://www.vitaliz.ca you will see that i had a slider set as 1024px wide.
However, i would like to get rid of the white on the right and left side, so that the background image shows.
Can you help out with this issue… i tried just about everything i can think of.

Built in custom styles for the free Contact Form 7 plugin doesn’t work for me? The buttons are “non-styled”
Add “button default small” classes to the button. Those are 3 classes.
Contact Form 7 looks like this: <p>[submit “Submit Form”]</p> where do i put the classes?

how to use avada button with contact form: (need to use: [submit class:button class:large class:default class: “send”] to use classes and button size and color for it.
First class = button
Second class = size, can be large medium or small
Third class = button color from the buttons shortcode or just use “default” which will pick color from theme options.
When creating a button with CF7, there is an option to input classes.

Please signup and post this on our forum, they should be able to give you some direction. This is not a theme option we offer. You are able to disable any and all meta info via theme options, but it does it for all posts.

Hey Yes we are in the process of updating it so that si why the message is there. It should be done soon.
But those colors are just the highlight color, for example, wherever you see “green’ will change to “blue” if you select blue. THe slider content, like text, etc is controlled in slider settings. BUt any element you see can be changed to any color you wish, those options in the style selector are just a few pre-defined colors.

I am about to buy this theme but have a couple of questions beforehand
1) I want to set my homepage to home portfolio style (as in demo), it should show featured posts (not portfolios) the thumbnails for psosts should be slightly smaller and on hover show excerpt as well

We have implemented this theme and it is working very good.
Due to some reason we are migrating our website from Apache to Nginx but in Nginx there are having problem with some features of Avada theme like tab, revoluition slider ect.
Can you please reflect your views on this. Its very important.

Most likely is the tabs or slider is not working, then its another plugin issue possible. Have you disabled the extra plugins?
If the issue persists, please post this up on our support forum, we have a server expertthere who can hep you out. Ask for “jteague” to be assigned the thread.
Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your FTP and WP username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.

- Revolution Slider is no longer automatically activated into the theme. It needs to be activated upon install and you will get a big notice about it on wp-admin page. You will not lose any sliders OR slider page settings and revolution slider is and always will be included with the theme. Upon upgrading to v3.1.1 the integrated Revolution Slider plugin will be disabled, and you will see a notification message in the WP admin telling you that the theme requires the installation of the Revolution Slider. Choose to install it, and then activate it. All the other slider plugins (Layer Slider, Elastic Slider, Themefusion Slider, Flexslider) are still automatically activated. ONLY Revolution Slider is not automatically activated.

Yep, all you need to do is activate the rev slider plugin you will see notices.
I installed the new update, 3.1.1 but I had to revert to an old version… i.e the revolution slider is not working anymore in the front office (and it is not present in the back-end). When inspecting the package, some folder (at least Revolution slider, is compressed… is it normal ?

First of all thanks so much for such a nice piece of work. Avada is purely amazing.. thanks… I will have some question to (still) push the possibilities… so perhaps it’s all ready doable, so please never mind and just indicate me the docs… if it is not yet present, would it be feasable easly to add it ?
- the possibility to choice slug for blog templates, that way it will allow us to create different theming blog section
- placing the image used for sliders in a specific folder , itself nesting all the slider on respectiv folder
- in the help doc, getting all the
shortcodeslisted (I’m planning to create an extension for DW to edit the code outside WP) Whatever, thanks again for this nice work

Search widget is available as a theme option in header v4, sidebar and can also be added to page title bar.

Avada 3.1.1 isn’t uploading through WordPress but the child theme uploaded successfully, but can’t be used because the parent theme (Avada) isn’t uploaded. Never had any issues before. Am I missing something?
I foolishly erased the old Avada folder assuming things would work so I’m sort of stuck with a messy site for now. Lesson learned.
