Hey neibohood, you can disable the ajax cart inside of the WooCommerce Options tab in your theme options panel which will remove the only cart addition Salient offers. The rest would need to be configured inside of WooCommerce itself.

1. Yes, you can rename the file from page-contact.php to anything else like blah-blah.php and it won’t automatically get applied anymore

2. When you download the theme again from ThemeForest you will have the latest copy available which is 1.8

If you’ve changed your wp-content folder name that is the issue. Please rename it back to wp-content or modify the salient shortcode files to point to your newly named folder. Honestly the security by obscurity you’re getting from that one change isn’t that important and I would say you’re safe to change it back.

Using position: fixed (the persistence on top of the screen) is buggy on mobile devices which is why I opted out of using it. I might investigate if there is a better way to handle it on mobile and implement it in the future. But for now, there is no option to do that.

adamp29, it depends on how tall the window you’re viewing the site from is. This is because the images used in the parallax effect must cover the entire height of the screen so it is all revealed when scrolling down. If you have a window height taller than the height of the image you’ve uploaded then it will have to zoom in making it bigger to fit thus clipping the edges on your image. Try resizing your window height and you’ll see what I mean.

Currently it only displays the optional description text. I’ll see if I can’t work the thumbnail in as well though in a future update

Hey, sorry for the delay – I was swamped with the v1.9 update and this accidentally got put on the backburner. I just checked out your site now and can see your thumbnail being slightly blurry but only what you would expect when letting the browser resize a larger image – especially one with small thin text. If you want to counter this, simply use a custom thumbnail image located the project configuration and upload a smaller sized one so you can control the quality better. I don’t see any distortion of the larger image on your single project page though. The image is responsive, so keep in mind if you’re looking on any screen size smaller than the large desktop view, it will also get sized in the browser and quality will reduce very very slightly. This is no something specific to Salient, but rather having a responsive sized image.

This is a small bug caused by WP 3.6 that I missed. Here’s the fix: open up your entry-link.php file inside of the include/post-templates folder and search for the content-inner div. Replace that entire div with this:

1. To accomplish that all you would need to do is open the responsive.css stylesheet (located in the css folder) and remove this section at the top:
