Hi, that’s basically the reason why I usually don’t like to share links developers are working on their own server and update it when a feature is finalized, i just shared the link to show that the back-end is almost ready, listing is working + you can add multiple listing per company/member…. i’ll get an update in about 2 hours and will let you know, based on my discussion yesterday it will take less than a week. i’ll confirm it in a couple of hours. cheers

So much anticipation for this theme! I have to just raise a concern though which I would appreciate your honest answer on…
Just from reading all comments from the community along with your answers I have come to the conclusion that to effectively make good use of this theme at least V2 or even V3 will be required.
This leads onto my concern. You have stated that V2 will be 250 hours or 14 days until release after V1. You have also stated that V1 will be released now for over 1 month and yet there is still no product to purchase. How realistic is your opinion that V2 will be 14 days afterwards or are we all likely to end up waiting 6 months or more?
I appreciate you want to get everything right from the release, and I applaud you for this (nothing worse than bug fixing and everyone complaining), however, I could really do with knowing that when you say 14 days you mean 14 days!

I perfectly understand your concern and I would think exactely the same way if I would be a buyer.
let me reassure you that v2 will be ready within a couple of weeks after v1’s release, the delays for v1 were due to developer’s lack of familiarity with WP (the guys are native PHP developers and it took them some time become familiar with certain features & functionalities of WP + due to the rejections we got with FlexiCV it affected the roadmap.
The 250 hours of work are based on a concrete estimation of the work, we have created a sheet with number of hours per feature
The good news is that we staffed a senior WP developer yesterday so everything should be moving smoothly. beginning are always difficult and even though I’m not the developer I assume of course the responsibility for all delays and really apologize for it.

It seems the “other directory creator” have released another directory version of their previous one, what can you tell us compared to yours?
Hi, they facelifted the front-end while the back-end remained the same, anyone who would have been interested in linking directory back-end to Glocal Front-end could have done it for instance.
I am not a fan of discrediting others’ work so all I can say for the moment is that we’ll have very rich company content page which will include various tabs with corresponding data & extras (events, portfolio, products & services, jobs…) that’s already a competitive advantage from a UX point of view because at the end of the day the business model of a directory turns around the content of the company listing (that’s how you create packages)
from a UI, i think i’ll ask the developers to create different headers, even though Glocal looks nice & professional, I think there’s still some room for improvement especially when it comes to optimizing the space (some people might prefer to reduce the height of the page by removing the ad banner and replacing the menu in it so that it could look a bit more like Funder Template) others might prefer to have a tool bar and a thin menu bar under it etc…) so we’ll be offering more choices for the header, perhaps also the homepage more varieties.
All I want right now is to get this V1 online so that we can focus 200% on enhancements. I’m really irritated with the delay and at a certain point things need to start.

LOL and for OVERLANDER, I am in the same position as you, They did that to have people purchase again what they have already purchased to make more money, they are in for the $$$ not for the service, IMHO that’s how I see it.

if you want to use Glocal HTML site to convert it into a Native PHP portal then you cannot use the Wordpress version so regardless from which version will be updated it will not be compatible with native PHP portal.
v2, v3 will be updates not new themes so if you purchase Glocal V1 you can update for free the upcoming versions,
I might have misunderstood you so don’t hesitate dropping us a PM with further explanation,

Hi, I don’t want to keep promissing you guys that the theme will be updated tomorrow so let’s keep things on the safe side, worst case scenario is that the theme will be published before the end of next week. FYI back-end is 90% ready (a company/user can create multiple listings) we’re only having some issues with payment gateway and subscription + the advanced search options are being repaired. i’ll keep you posted with the evolution. I’m very sorry it’s really not in my hands it’s in the hands of developers I’m inspecting the work multiple times a day I just can’t do anything more to accelerate it. if I do it will affect the quality. thanks for your patience & my apologies for the delay. Hello, i’m waiting too for you wp version, but a question : is it possible to have two section “listing” and “event” same as this theme http://demos.appthemes.com/?theme=vantage ?? so clients can be have communication for commercial and for some events. Nice theme , i’m waiting for it.
Salut Jerome, yes don’t worry there will be multiple sections not only events, and the results page will be in concordance with the searched item + the company page will have a solid & flexible structure to be split into multiple content within the same window. you guys will enjoy the user-experience, we just need to get this v1 online so that we can accelerate the enhacements, it was really not an easy theme to create. will keep you posted, we should be submitting it tonight/tomorrow. look it’s simple all you need to do is go to the corresponding HTML page you’ll find a ”#” you need to replace # with the html page of the yellow page company or whatever company page you want to show.
