Hey loving the theme. It’s gonna work perfectly for this event we have next year. Just noticed though that it doesn’t seem to display in Safari 7.0 properly. Seems the Background sits on top of portfolio thumbs, the 234×234 images load then the Background (Feature image of that page) loads in over the top. I wanted to change the background. When trying to place/upload mine, nothing happens. Also in the littke preview screen in the backend it stays blanc. Where can I hardcode the background?

I just went into Queed Options>General tab and applied a background image. It’s working perfectly here so please make sure you have the theme updated and also try turning off all the plugins you may have just for a moment. Try adding this under Queed Options>General tab>Custom CSS:#wrap {background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0.5);}
You may need more CSS changes to make it look better on some parts of the theme.

I haven’t tested this CSS, but you can try and add this under Queed Options>General tab>Custom CSS:.navbar .sf-menu > li.sfHover a,
.navbar .sf-menu > li > a:hover {
background-color:transparent !important;
text-decoration:underline;
color:#000000;
}
You can change the color value to whatever you want.
The custom background opacity changes some elements and buttons. Try opening a blog page to view it in action.

Very cool theme, a couple of questions before I purchase.
1. Is it 3.61 compatible? 2. Is it IE8 compatible? 3. What would be involved in changing the width to 1170-1200px without breaking responsiveness?

My clients logo is 394px x 211px and of course they are insisting on keeping it this size on large displays. Will this be okay to center in the nav?

2 – Not completely. Some of the effects won’t display properly;
3 – You need to make some CSS changes;
About the client logo that will not be a problem (keep in mind that if the logo is too large in width the menu items must be less or smaller).

About IE8: it’s better that you test it, because I don’t have ways to test it now. As for the CSS tweaks I can’t help you with that, because it’s not just one or 2 lines of code. About Bootstrap: I know someone was able to implement it some time ago, but it was an older version.

I’m having a problem with what I assume is the responsiveness of the theme. On a blog page, if I have a sidebar enabled and it’s contents goes lower down the page than the article text itself, then it responsively moves any content from the sidebar into the main content below the comments.
So, for example, the archives widget is showing below the comments section on shorter posts. I’ve known this to happen before, so I assume it’s a bug on the responsive code?

Hello, Great theme and it has been a pleasure to work with.
One question though. After clicking on a blog post, when the blog post opens, the first image within the slide show covers the title of the post, although the second slide positions itself correctly.

Thanks for the great theme! I am wondering if there is a way to use two of the portfolio layouts rather than just one.
At the moment I have a ‘portfolio single’ layout used for multiple portfolio categories. I also wish to display another portfolio as ‘portfolio 4 cols’ with a different parent and multiple categories. Is this possible? Someone else has installed the theme for me and asked me to find another 4 column portfolio to plugin as they have been unable to find a way to use both…

This is possible by selecting the needed categories under the portfolio page content. And because you can assign different portfolio templates to different pages you can create unlimited portfolio pages.

I am using your theme and I am very pleased with it. I do have one problem: I am getting spammed big time through the contact form(at least 500 spam mails a month). Would it be possible to add a CAPTCHA to the contact form, and could you advise on a plugin you think could work with the theme?

I suggest you install a form plugins that has captcha included. Then you add that shortcode to the contact page and replace the theme original form.

2. Is it possible to disable the link and let visitors click the thumbnail and only a lightbox will popup? So it acts like a gallery?

The theme preview homepage portfolio does not show that lightbox button too. This is because it only links to those portfolio posts;
2 – It’s possible to do this on Portfolio Pages (not on the homepage). To make that change go to Queed Options>Portfolio tab;

Thanks, I knew that option, but the ‘normal’ link to the portfolio still exists. I wanted to link the whole thumbnail to a lightbox. To enable the lightbox, you really need to click the glass logo.

Hi! I’m trying to make some changes on the child stylesheet but it’s not affecting the site. However it does when i change the css on the custom css section under queed options. I find it easier to backup the overrides if i’m working on the child theme. Is there a way to do this? To make all the changes on the child theme and still be able to affect the site? Thank you.

Are you using the latest theme version? I’m asking this, because on recent versions the child theme loads the style.css file.
