These items would require custom development as of now. I’ll still entertain the idea of them for future updates of course, there’s just no way to add that functionality now easily unless you look for a plugin or take on some work.

2.0 is awesome! thx for all the wonderful additions and fixes. im having a little trouble with one of my nectar sliders. i created a tabbed section and inserted a slider gallery for two of them. the first shows up fine, but the other one doesn’t show up unless i resize my window and even then it just shows the loading screen without bringing up the pics. what could it be?? thank you!
I’ve not tested placing sliders inside of tabbed elements – i’ll need to replicate that setup on my end and see if I can fix it for 2.1

shoot…that will take some time i guess…there’s nothing i can do then? ill have to go back to my slideshow plugin, i was so excited to use the nectar slider!! =( it does look like its a tab issue since only the first slider in the first tab works, not the following tabs. but its weird bc it does work inside that first tab… oh well, if there’s anything you think i can look for please advise. if not i guess ill have to wait!! thank you lots

It’s all server / wordpress optimization you must do.
1. Contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable gzip compression.
2. Use a plugin like W3 total caching and that will minify your css,js & html and cache your pages.
3. The “Reduce server response time” warning can only be fixed by moving to a better host i’m afraid – I used to have that problem on my old server and no matter how much I explained to them that the response time was pretty bad, they wouldn’t help – You get what you pay for!
Anyway, do all that I’ve suggested and you should get your score in the 80’s no problem

In the same link - How to deal with “Eliminate render-blocking Javascript and CSS in above the fold content” which shows up as a critical issue and displays the suggestion as follows
“Your page has 22 blocking script resources and 6 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.”
You’re welcome! If you want to address that one, you would need to combine a lot of the scripts and stylesheets into one before minfying to reduce the number of requests needed to complete before loading.

That’s a bug – if you set the parallax to true (even though it won’t parallax on boxed) it will fix the gap

I just don’t understand why u integrate so many fancy video shortcode slider etc into this theme but missing the most basic thing contact form. I never use these fancy things, but my site have to load these script too and slow down my site. These thing is belong to the plugin. What normal ppl need is a basic contact form, and you ask us to install plugin.
The theme is getting bulky day by day. In google pagespeed your theme score 45-55, my other themes score 50-65 average. It is test under the same condition. I truly appreciate the frequent update that let me update to the latest wordpress worry free, but i don’t want a super slow bulky theme. A slider is more important than a contact form ???

1. Both the home slider and the new nectar scripts only get loaded when a slider is used on a page. If you actually opened your functions.php file and looked you would see that they are not enqueued by default and will only load when appropriate. Please at least do the basic research into the subject you’re bashing before you make a false public statement.
2. The theme supports contact form 7 in its entirety and there is no way I could make a contact form inside of the theme that would be superior to that plugin. However, I can in my eyes produce a slider that is unique and more appealing than some of the competition, so yes I will put my priority on what sets me apart from others. I don’t see why you would rather have a built in contact form that wouldn’t even come close to the functionality you can get with contact form 7. Since you’re on the topic of what truly belongs in a plugin, I believe the vast majority of developers would agree that contact forms should never be coded into themes directly for the simple reason that better options exist and is unnecessary bloat. If you don’t care for my “fancy shortcode slider” great, don’t use it and it won’t effect your site
Thank you for the explanation, i saw the bottom source code that’s why i tot it load all the scripts. What i want is a simple contact form, not an advanced contact form. I believe this is what most ppl want. More plugin mean slower and more conflict.
You’re welcome sai2, I form my updates based on popular demand – I have a ton of buyers seeking greater functionality than what I delivered with my first slider, but I believe you have been the only buyer to request a built in contact form. Contact form 7 can create a form a simple as you need it and also will not bring security issues, conflicts, or bloat – in fact their slogan is “If you value simplicity and flexibility, Contact Form 7 is a great choice.”

One more question. Does it work with self hosted files (video, audio) or do I have to host video on vimeo/youtube and audio somewhere else as well?
The video backgrounds have to all be self hosted actually, if you want to video link from youtube or vimeo you can do that in a button link which will open the video in a lightbox
I see one can place a host of different icons in circles and stuff and you use a font for this. How about if I have my own icons? Is there a way to use them as well? I wouldn’t mind modifiyng some code if it’s not too complicated.
Hey scratsmacker! If you want to use your own icons you would have to make the icon font at http://icomoon.io/ then link that font into the theme just as I have for my own so you can pretty much see exactly how it’s done then you will be able to all your icon class in html just like

You can purchase from pond5.com and the color overlay was added in after effects, but such a basic effect could be added in nearly any video editing software.

You can place audio players where ever you like on pages, but not in a lightbox.
Okay, thanks! That gives me some ideas. Is that something you would consider putting in the future? I am a musician that creates instrumentals and I’d love to be able to showcase audio files in lightbox similar to my videos… however, I don’t now if this is a plugin feature added to the theme.

How many fonts do you offer and does it include google fonts?

First of all I have to thank you for the greatest update ever. It is so awesome that I’m redoing my whole website now to add all the new features and effects
So glad that you added header images to portfolio items as well.
I have kinda a big problem now. I’m trying to replace some of your font awesome icons (eg search icon or the icons on the portfolio page) with my own png’s but just can’t get it to work. I’ve been sitting here for hours now and nothing worked so far. Could you please give me a hand how to replace only some of the icons but keep the rest? I think it might also be useful to some other users since I read that they had similiar issues.

Most of the images that were used as icons have been replaced by real icon files now so that they load faster and are truly retina ready. If you want to use .pngs you’ll need to open the files where you want to change the icon – for example if you want to change the search icon open the header.php file and replace this:
<span class="icon-salient-search" aria-hidden="true" />with an image or a div with an image background.

Wow! I am in love with this theme and very interested in purchasing. Only thing I noticed the demo doesn’t load properly on mobile devices (both internet explorer and chrome) in particular android. Is there a fix for that?
Hey iamkatperez! I was unaware of any android issues actually – I have an S4 & iphone5 and there are no loading issues on any of the browsers on them, so I will have to get my hands on older versions to do testing.

I am using a samsung stellar with the latest update.
Yeah, when you access the demo through the ThemeForest iframe all the logic that is in place for checking if the viewer is on a mobile device fails because the iframe messes that up and thus the site doesn’t function correctly. I’ll make a note about either exiting the iframe or accessing the direct url going forward so people know!
by the way, the qcode listed on the theme description page bypasses the iframe as well
