Hello,
Small bug with the contact form. When it sends the email it seems to clip off the last character of the senders name and since it seems to also copy the person filling out the form this seems unprofessional.

It’s strange the cropping thing, because I don’t have it on my install. About sending a copy it’s supposed to be like that so that the person who sents it knows that the message was actually sent. If you don’t like this send me a private message and I’ll help you.
If you prefer install the Contact Form 7 plugin and manage the fields that you want to use. Because I optimized Samba for this plugin, the theme will show this form just like the theme original form.

I don’t mind the CC to the person that filled out the form. However the clipping of the name is a bit weird. Try it on out install, your name will be clipped in the CC you get.

Hi Pirenko, I have another question. I have created a portfolio. From there people can visit the specific posts of this portfolio. I was thinking if it is possible to have in the right sidebar all the items of this specific portfolio be displayed, like a widget of Recent Posts -t his then would be a widget of this specific portfolio. I thought when people maybe visit the Rose Gallery they then can see in the sidebar the other images of this portfolio with titles and need only to click there on the item for the Flower Paintings or Portraits etc. Doing it this way they wouldn’t need to go back to the mainsite of the portfolio or to use the arrows. Is this possible and how? D.

The theme has the option to show related post on the single portfolio pages and they are displayed under the content (the theme preview has this option on). If you want to activate it go to Samba Options>Portfolio tab.
This said, single posts don’t have a sidebar, but you can add one using the Visual Composer Widgetised Area element. You can add it to your post content and then add the Latest Posts element to the Widgetised area.

Hi Pirenko, we are 5 person’s in our team (vc: team-member: show_all ; columns-number=4). When i go on my single-member-page, than it’s possible to go from there to person B+C,....but then it end’s. From person D it’s only possible to go to person E. In “team-mebers” are all in the same team and the rest is also the same. Can you help?

If you have any active plugins turn them off for a moment. Also, if those members were created with the one click install feature try creating others from scratch. If none of these fix that issue please send me a private message with your WP login details if possible.

Yes, you can turn the Ajax page loading off. It’s one of the theme options. You can also simply hide the loader. Let me know if you decide to buy the theme and need help with this.

Hi Pirenko, just a suggestion: even when the left menu is collapsed by default it would be nice for it to be expanded on the home page … just thinking that some visitors may not find out that there’s a menu hidden there ! Rds

You need to make your parent link be a Custom Link and not a page (or a link to a page). Make sure that you set the Custom Link URL to #
All of this is done under Appearance>Menus.

If you change the body size it will affect all sizes across the theme. This is because font sizes are responsive too (on small devices they get smaller). To change the body size add this under Samba Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS:body{font-size:15px}
If you want to change only a specific font size you can use this custom CSS field too. Let me know if you still need help with this.

For some reason im not getting any of your emails (I sent you details of second account this morn) so ive resorted to this.
I cant get the blog working at all. I create a page as a blog (either classic or grid) and set up each post with a featured image and content. I have two dummy posts. After ive setup the menu and then tied the posts in settings/reading to my ‘blog’ page I then try it out live. It goes to my blog page but when I click on a post it just sits spinning. Ive tried deleting my blogs, blog page and emptying my cache. Ive tried it in explorer, chrome and safari on both Mac and PC and it still hangs. Ive also tried it from my office PC and I cant fix it… Oh and ive followed your video just to be sure im not missing something.
Nope… I have noticed that after the blog page is created it doesnt matter if I try to change it to Grid or Classic layout it doesnt appear to change.
Most frustrating about your emails too as ive now ground to a halt!

Ive put it to a default POST NAME and it seems to work. Still doesnt sort my Revolution issues though

Hi Pirenko, I hope this is mostly the last question. The website develops so beautifully and I can’t stop working on it. The Question: I want to display a fullscreen image on my entry page, but it doesn’t work. I chose Page: Classic Layout. Maybe this is wrong. When I chose Fullscreen slider, then the slider activates. Any idea how I can display only a fullscreen image? and which size does the image need to be then? Hope you can help me once again. Doris
oh, i figured it out by myself. Activated the slide but uploaded only one image to a new group. It works. I think I have done this correct? Just a tiny yes from you would be great.

Is it possible to change the fonts with a plugin? (Otherwise all of the sites using this theme will look almost identical.)
Also, as an earlier commenter mentioned, it would be great to have the masonry portfolio style with titles if possible.

The masonry gallery example you linked to shows a lightbox gallery. Can it also link to a single project page? (I’d like both options.) It also reminds me: I’ll be adding photos and artwork with irregular dimensions, often within the same portfolio. How does the theme handle vertical images?
BTW, I don’t think I was forthcoming enough with the praise. I never thought that I’d want my navigation on the left till I saw this theme. Every element works perfectly with every other element (something I’ve never seen before).

The masonry page can already link to single pages (it’s an option for each portfolio page).
Single pages with vertical images will be displayed like the other (fill a certain width). This will make them not show entirely on some screens. I prefer it like this, but I already have a small change on one of the theme files if you want to make them be always totally visible (I can send you the changed file if you need it).

Thank you, that would be perfect! I appreciate that it looks really good for every image to have the same width but it bothers me personally when I can’t see an entire image on first viewing (scrolling after enlarging to have a closer look is totally fine though).

It seems that when ajax is active and using woocommerce the shopping cart widget in the sidebar will not show when navigating back and forth between pages. You have to do a page refresh to see the cart widget. I have disabled ajax and all is well for now. So this is mostly for anyone else experiencing this issue and maybe there’s a fix for it.

Ajax calls are great so that the menu and all the necessary files to the theme don’t always reload. This speeds up everything and creates a smoother website navigation. The problem is that some widgets and plugins work only when the header and footer of Wordpress is loaded so, in this case, we need a full page reload.

Honestly it’s not the easiest thing to change. You’ll need to add some custom CSS to the theme options (or edit the main.css directly) and also edit the main.js file located on the js folder.

hi you should add this file to the theme it will help improve the performance of the jquery animation, http://cortys.de/cssAnimate/ it replaces the jquery animation with css3 animation and falls back to jquery if browser does not support. the best thing is all you have to do is replace .animate() with .cssAnimate() and the script handles the rest i added the file to my site by modifying main.js and just did search and replace of .animate() , i managed to get on average 60fps =).

You have added some custom CSS to the theme options and the titles are shifted down… Anyway, I’ll study this possibility on the next update, but it’s kind of tricky because of the texts having eventually big sizes.

You should go to Samba Options>General tab>Minimum content width before collapsing menu ans set it to a higher value (try 10000).

Why do you say it’s not compatible? I have it running with the theme preview. If you website is loading slower than the preview it should be related with the images that you are using.
