1.Breaknews?How can i change its categories? 2.Will be thumbs view of video posts next updates? Thx..
Hi Tairqozkan,
1- You can easily set specific category/s to show in the breaking news by using the “Breaking News Filter” option the theme options. It lists all your existing categories and you can tick the checkbox of the ones you want to use.
2- Please forgive me but I don’t quite understand what you mean by this, could you please share a URL/screenshot to understand it better?
Thanks,
Cubell
Very nice theme ! just questions before buy, please.
1- possible put rating widget only for readers ?
2- have views counter. possible?
3- possible to adjust the size of the video window?
4- have shortcodes divider, tooltip and more…
Thanks !
Hi Youyou78,
Thanks very much for your kind words and interest
1- Do you mean for the “Valenti Top Reviews” widget to have the option to show the top reviews using the user scores? If so that is a great idea, and I will certainly add the option to the widget in a future update (I am about to release v1.2, so I add this feature in the next one).
2- Do you mean in the bylines? This isn’t difficult to do, but I will have to see if it will fit nicely with the design and not make it look overloaded. I will add this to my maybe list.
3- Do you mean on the video post like in http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/videogames/post-with-background-slideshow-video-review/ ? If so, the video size is automatically calculated depending on the screen size, and it will be as big as the frame allows it to be, and for this to work, it can’t be overrided by users.
4- The theme does come with divider shortcode, it’s the first one shown in http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/shortcodes/ and tooltip is already used in the theme, no shortcode was created for tooltip, but you can easily use it anyway by adding 2 words of code when editing a post.
I hope this helps

Thank you for your answers
No problem youyou78
If there is anything else you need to ask, just let me know.
Hi, I just bought the theme. It’s very nice, but I have a few questions about the rating box:
1. What is this area in the rating box for? And how do I get rid of it? (highlighted in the red circle) http://i.imgur.com/tYPIpvF.png
2. Here is the rating box from my old theme: http://i.imgur.com/bfhRI9l.png
You can see that it’s probably half the size of Valenti’s box, but it has the same amount of information. Even without any summary, or pros and cons, the box in Valenti is still big. Is it possible to make the rating box in Valenti more compact, like in the screenshot?
Thanks for the great theme. I look forward to your response.
And a couple more questions: Is it possible to get stars to show up, instead of a number? http://i.imgur.com/rv3xvuo.png
Can you make the slider go from 0 to 5, instead of 0 to 100 when using star ratings? And can we have a text box to type in the number, in the next update? http://i.imgur.com/NaRaBfy.png
Cheers.
Hi 06,
Thanks for your purchase
1- That looks very strange, can you please open up a ticket at http://cubell.ticksy.com and include the url of that review to take a look at the code. As there must be something (a plugin?) doing something strange.
2- Valenti is meant to be big, bold and modern, but there is a review location option called “top half-width” which is a compact version of the standard review box design.
3- Not without customizing the code. I will add it on my maybe list however.
4- A slider provides a much better user experience than inputting numbers manually, but more importantly ensure there are no invalid values passed through to the system.
For any further questions, could you please ensure to use the support system at http://cubell.ticksy.com as it is much easier to keep track of and attach images/code.
Best,
Cubell
I’m interested in buying this theme for an upcoming relaunch of a popular video game news, reviews and features website. We’re very particular about the sorts of features we want from our potential theme, and Valenti intrigues us. One question I do have is regarding the review scores. Can we set our own review score without sub-criteria? From what I can tell, Valenti calculates its review scores by averaging out the sub-criteria scores and we don’t want that!
Regards,
SuperJoe
Hi SuperJoe,
Thanks very much for the interest in Valenti.
You do not need criterias for the final score. By default the final score is calculated from the average criteria scores, however, there is an override input where you can set any score you want. Also, currently there are 3 review positions (Top/Bottom/Top half-style), but I am planning to add a fourth which will be a very basic output (just the review score and nothing else), so you will be able to just enter a score in the override score and that is it. I hope this helps.
All the best,
Cubell
I have bought this great theme and I have a (first
) question about it.
Is it possible to have the review system in pages too? My site will be a website with information about breeds en their characters and so on. I cannot make this posts it has to be pages. But I really need the review option in my pages to show all sorts of specific breed info (height/guarding capability/ exercise and so on)
Hope to hear from you!
Hi MoniqueRo,
Thanks very much for your kind words and purchase
Unfortunately, pages do not have the option for review because they are not meant to be for this type of content. Your website sounds very interesting and I’d love to check it out when finished, but you should definitely be using posts for an article that includes a review, is there a particular reason you are wanting to use pages? If it is because of the “by X on x/x/2013 in category X” line, you can remove that in the theme options. Can you open up a ticket at http://cubell.ticksy.com with further information about this and I will do my best to help you. See you there
Loving the theme so far! Was wondering if there was a way when setting up a homepage using the homepage builder to start articles at a specific article. For instance when I have the grid up top that is running the latest articles and then have a module underneath doing the same we get allot of repeated articles.
Hi Sogo,
Thanks very much for your purchase
The best way to use the modules are to set them to display the posts from certain categories, and for the main feature (the first/top grid) you can actually set specific posts (from any category) to be featured there. Simply edit/add a post and turn on the “Valenti Homepage Feature” option. If you require any further support, please open up a ticket at http://cubell.ticksy.com and I can help you further. Thanks again!
No I get that. I get the concept of category specific posts for each module. First and foremost we are a blog and our readers would like to see the latest posts first as I am assuming most blogs would. I was just wondering if there was a way or maybe a future update that would allow a module to start from a certain post instead of that post again. Allot of our post hit multiple categories and infact double up in sections.
Thanks for your reply I will send a ticket.
Ah I see, I’ll check your ticket out in a little while
Is there any easy way to just add Google Analytic tracking ID number from the back end of the theme ?
Hi Fspatan,
Yes, there is. In the theme options you will see a “Custom Code” tab, inside there you will see a box called “Custom <Head> Code”, simply paste you Analytics’s code in that box and save options. There is also a box for code to be inserted into the footer section of the site, however, Google recommends to add the Analytic code in the Head, so make sure to put it there. I hope this helps!

Hi there,
He visto que hablas español!
tras instalar el tema, a parece el siguiente error…
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/vhost/nexo101.com/home/html/wp-content/themes/valenti/functions.php on line 216
No se qué hacer a continuación…
Hola Spoweck,
Si, hablo español también
Eso suena bastante raro, puedes crear un ticket en http://cubell.ticksy.com y crear una cuenta admin para mi para poder ver que esta sucediendo. Nos vemos allí
Quick question, which font did you use for your logo?
Hi Wellsb,
Thanks for purchasing Valenti
The font used in the logo is Lato.
Cubell
Thank you.
No problem, I hope you enjoy using Valenti
Nice theme. I don’t see any email subscription box as a widget. It would be nice to have a custom Mailchimp subscribe box for email subscribers. Can you create one?
Hi Pgsimas,
Thanks for the interest in Valenti. I didn’t create an email subscription widget mainly because there are already so many great ones around (free and paid) for almost every mailing service, particularly mailchimp. I recommend you go to codecanyon.net and type in “mailchimp” you will find great plugins at very affordable prices. I hope this helps!

Absolutely incredible theme. Absolutely incredible support. Buy with confidence, Cubell is one of a kind.
Wow thanks so much, I’m really glad you’ve enjoyed Valenti
Hi, you can fully translate to Spanish as the theme Ciola, thanks.
Hi Joseperdigones,
Thanks for the interest in Valenti
Yes the theme is already fully-translated into Spanish.
Muchísimas gracias, buen trabajo, me encantan tus themes.
Saludos.

Can I use WooCommerce with Valenti? Do you plan to integrate in the future? Otherwise what alternative would you recommend for listing up to 10 items for sale? Thanks, Rob
Hi Rob,
Thanks very much for the interest in Valenti. Currently WooCommerce isn’t officially supported, but a lot of users have already made it work with some tweaks. I need to do research on a couple of things before I add full-support to WooCommerce and I am going to make it over the coming days, so please check back and I will have a final answer.

Hi Again, New rebuild almost finished and once again I’ve got to say your wordpress backend is absolutely brilliant!!
Just one small point, is there any way of beefing up – changing the styling of the post share on buttons as compared to the style of your clean hard hitting theme, they just look a little weedy – weak.. Would like to be able to change these to something bigger – bolder..
thanks
Hi again
Great to hear, I’m excited to see your final site!
Depending on what you imagine, you can easily adjust the look of the sharing block with some basic CSS, open up a ticket at the support system with and I can tell you how to target it.
Cubell
First of all, I love this theme! Thank you for investing so much into it. I have never been so happy with a purchase on ThemeForest.
One suggestion for improvement. May you please add an option to “hide tags” on posts. I think they take up a lot of prime space. Or even better, may you instruct me on how to hide them via css?
Thanks!!
Hi Zackthemack,
Thanks very much for your purchase and kind words, the theme was a LOT of hard work over a lot of months, so comments like this make it all worthwhile
You can easily hide the tags, open up a ticket at http://cubell.ticksy.com and I can help you further. However, if you have them turned off/not visible, why do use tags in the first place? They are meant to be used for allowing users to find similar posts + spread the internal SEO juice throughout the site, if they are not visible/on (but you still use them in posts) I can’t think of any reason to have them, is there a special reason you use them? I hope this makes sense.
Cubell
Thank you for response,
You made some valid points. I agree with you and no longer want to hide my tags. I gotta keep my SEO prime.
I still think the tag boxes are bit too large though.
Thank you once again for the informative response.
Take care, Zack
No problem Zack, if you need anything, just open up a ticket and I’ll do my best to help you!
All the best,
Cubell
hi guys, already downloaded the theme for my web magazine, i just wanted to know if there’s an option to see the gallery in post with more than one pic, as a slideshow, and also if i can hide the small thumbs of the gallery in the article page, under the featured img.
thx
Hi Effecava,
Thanks very much for purchasing Valenti. Could you please open up a ticket at http://cubell.ticksy.com and if possible, include a URL/screenshots with examples of what you mean, as I am not entirely sure what you are trying to achieve, thanks again and see you there
Hello Cubell
How’s it going?
I have an addition on the mobile menu, especially on an iPhone. It’s great, but there’s way to much movement on it. but thought I should let you know as well as it’s not only obeyadvertising facing this. I have the same issue, I scroll down, the menu pops out or the whole page moves.
I know there’s the ‘hamburger’ button option, I have set that, but when I look at my site, I don’t see it and there’s no menu option at all. What am I doing wrong?
Also on your ticket support, I can’t log in on my phone either, no menu or options apart from welcome.
Other than that, lovin’ the theme!
JBecks
Hi JBecks,
It’s going well, working hard on these updates
I hope your website is going well too!
Yes, as I mentioned to obeyadvertising, after running some tests, I agree that some specific mobiles are much more sensitive than others, so I will be looking at ways to decrease the sensitivity in an update.
Regarding the support system, yes unfortunately you can’t use it on a mobile device, and there isn’t anything I can do about that, as I pay ticksy.com to have the support system, and they control the way it works. I will be asking about this though! It does work without problems on any other device though, so if you have problems, feel free to open up a ticket there

Bought it- has some great features.
Can you adjust the height or size of the collage? I find it too big and would prefer something along the size of the verge.
Hi Ajaffarali,
Thanks very much for your purchase, I’m glad you’re liking the features
You could customize the heights with some basic custom CSS, open up a ticket in http://cubell.ticksy.com if you have trouble doing it and I can give you a hand.

I am also waiting for the bb and buddypress integration. Is there any time table for the update? I’m a bit on time constraints and am thinking of using the puzzles theme if I cannot wait. Also there was one main thing about the puzzle theme I preferred over valenti and that is the ability to show user reviews and also admin reviews. Valenti seems to only have user reviews. Did I miss it or is there some way to add a separate showing of the website administrators review? If not and it is something you may add in the future is there a time table for that update? Sorry to sound rushy and rude its just I have to get this website up pretty quickly. Thank you.
Hi Rukia, thanks for the interest!
bbPress integration is complete, I am working on fixing some bugs reported and I will then package it up and submit the update.
BuddyPress integration will start as soon as I upload v1.2. The reason I am doing it this way is because adding theme compatibility to bbPress/BuddyPress is very easy and can be done in just a few hours, I am actually integrating/improving/redesigning the plugins, as even though they work great, they don’t look great in my opinion and I want them to match the rest of the theme. For example, apart from a complete redesign, the login with ajax is integrated with bbPress so users don’t ever need to go into the backend, I have added two improved widgets and the theme options will allow you to set it to have a left sidebar/right sidebar/no sidebar (full-width forums), etc. Thanks again
Cubell
Thank you for swift reply. About the administrator review to go along with the user reviews, will that also be part of the update?
Hi Rukia, oops I completely missed that question! I’m a bit confused as to what you mean though, because in Valenti, the entire score box is created by the post editor (the admin), the only thing that readers/users can do is set their score in the “Readers rating” bar which is optional (the admin can turn that on/off). Does this answer your question?
Cubell
Oh ok I misunderstood how the rating system works. So the admin sets the score and readers vote on the reader rating. Ok then last question, is there a way to give readers the same criteria as the admin? So if the admin is voting on 4 different criteria the readers can have their own vote on those same 4? Kinda makes the readers feel like their opinion is inferior if the admin can vote on multiple criteria but the readers only get one rating. Could this be possible in the future?
Hi Rukia,
Yes, that is how the rating system works in Valenti. However, no, readers can not set their own ratings to each individual criteria, they can only vote on a single global reader rating, and unfortunately, I don’t have any plans to expand the whole review system to readers in the future, sorry about that!
Cubell
Thank you I will probably purchase sometime on the weekend.
Hi again Rukia, that’s great to hear, I’ll be happy to welcome you aboard
Can’t wait for BuddyPress integration so I can buy this theme!! Love this theme!! Exactly what I was looking for! And the support is fantastic! I’m so impatient. LOL
That’s great to hear
It shouldn’t be long for that to happen! Thanks once more for the interest!
