the theme is translation ready, it is just it has not support by now for WPML, but we are implementing this feature soon.
About the shop options, I must to say that Flamingo does not support WooCommerce or similar. By now it is not in our plans to integrate it, I´m sorry. Anyway, if something new about this we will publish it here and our newsletters.

you could modify the rhombus shapes with a circle one with a single css rule. You can use the custom styles option within the option panel to implement it:

Well, a quick css modification would be as follow:

the theme is really easy to translate with the .po files included. You just need to use poEdit in this sense.

we have reviewed this and I can´t grant it will work as you expect. Notice that the theme was not designed to work in this way. You would need to tweak the theme´s javascript to achieve this. It is not hard, but we can´t implement it by now or help on it, I´m sorry.
Maybe it could be a new feature for next coming updates. It is very possible, we need to study it better and value it well.

el theme puede cargar videos desde youtube o vimeo dentro del contenido. En lo que estamos trabajando y actualizaremos muy pronto es en la posibilidad de poner videos desde estas dos plataformas como fondos (backgrounds). Como podría ser cualquiera de los estáticos o slider que ahora puedes ver en cualquier sección de la demo.
Estos vídeos solo necesitarán de un ID desde Youtube o Vimeo.

sí, pensamos en añadir soporte para WPML
En cuanto a la integración de WooCommerce debo decir que no lo hemos planteado. De momento no tiene soporte, en cualquier caso publicaríamos una actualización más adelante, pero en principio no es una característica que esté en nuestra lista de añadidos.

the theme includes a plugin installer/manager that requires to activate some required/recommended plugins. We have include a plugin to manage retina graphics. Also, all the icons used are part of font-awesome library, being all of them HDPi ready.

Very brave concept, I like it very very much, congrats! Though, I have a pre-purchase question about the menu section; is it possible to change the “sand yellow” color on the menu background? And can you place an image as a background, or is it just colors?
Hi Zenith,
you can manage the background color directly from the option panel. Just check the background color and the color for the options/nav in order to create the color scheme you prefer.
The option panel does not include an option to add background images here, but you could manage this feature in a easy way via CSS.

we provide within the documentation all the dummy content needed.. With Flamingo it is very easy creating content layouts with the page builder. So in this sense and using the documentation you can have a starter site like any of the demos with all the main pages in a couple of minutes. Please, check the online documentation in order to know more. Maybe it will help to understand better how the theme works.

The only thing missing for me it’s “normal” navigation without clicking on the button (maybe fixed while scrolling).
In my experience simple icon is more distracting for typical users than typical few text links.

the reason attends to the fact of creating something different in order to avoid plain menus or trends in this sense. We know it is a bit risky, but the essence of a good portfolio or any site at the end is catching the visits eye and attention. It is for these reasons the design search these kind of solutions trying to achieve a different user experience.
Anyway, we will study the possibility to add a fixed navigation as a new option.

Yeah I know what you mean. For me as an user it’s not a problem and I like it, but I can imagine there are plenty of companies/recruiters that won’t even see that icon

vamos a incluir una nueva opción para usar vídeos como background basada en Yotube/Vimeo. Podrás incluir cualquier video desde estas dos plataformas simplemente pasando su ID. Esta opción estará lista en breve.

looks great!! is it possible not to have this animated navigation? to have just a normal one on the top?

we have created 3 different navigations, but the three are designed and implemented in the way you can watch on the demo. Only in the case the “minimal layout” is enabled the navigations remains always visible.
Notice the design in each cases, they are not traditional menus in any case. But the third kind of navigation could have a fixed version in next updates. We need to know if it would be a interesting feature for other users and we can study to implement this as a new option. So we will have into account this!
