I downloaded Enfold but I do not see any updates. The files are identical to the previous version. Even style.css shows version 2.4.2

Hi, I was thinking of buying this theme. I am a photographer and need to showcase my pictures in full W x H pixels. I need to know if the slideshow option that is being showcased in this theme supports images as and would not crop them. For example my images could vary lets say 5760×3870 and another one 2250×1500. I need to be able to use them as is and just display full screen on a page template using the “slideshow” option you are providing. Can I be doing this without any issues? Please let me know. That would help me determine whether to buy or not. thank you
Hey! You can use the slideshow with the default image ratio activated and upload those images and they will display uncropped and the slider will also adapt to the size of the images. However there is no option to force the slider to display as fullscreen in that case. It will stretch across the full browser width and the height will be determined by the image size

Hey! Yes, the theme also comes with a large-width option which uses approx. 1200px width by default

Hey! Not sure which kind of payment page you need. The theme supports woocommerce out of the box, which you can download for free and test if it has the features you need
The license fee is a one time fee

Yes you can add any number of different elements instead of the 3 boxes
Only limitation for a page like this is that the last element is the blog element, otherwise the sidebar would not display beside the blog entries but beside whatever element is the last one
To change the layout of the blog entries you would need to shift the html output in the loop-index.php file. we can assist with that, but its actually quite easy
I want to end with the blog and footer…so thanks. The blog will have pagination, right?

Blog can or cannot have pagination in that case, you can change it however you like

I really enjoyed the theme but i need a LOGIN feature at the top of the theme (similar to the one as SISTINA theme – http://themeforest.net/item/sistina-flat-multipurpose-shop-theme/5220602?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=Sara_p). Do you know if there is an option to include this feature or if i could install a plugin or something to get the same result?

Hey! Unfortunately this would currently only work with a customization or maybe a plugin that adds a popup item to the main menu (not sure if there is one available)
It will get easier in the future to use plugins and shortcodes in the header but I can’t tell when this will be ready now…

I was thinking of purchasing this theme, but first I would like to know if it would be possible to change the link of the the logo in the header. I do not want the logo to link to the homepage, but rather I would like it to link to the parent companies website.

There is no theme option for this but we provide a simple wordpress hook to change the link with a php function.
If you want we can provide that function which you would then either need to add to your functions.php file or to your child themes function.php file

Hey! Switch to the advanced layout editor, add a fullwidth masonry element from the “content elements” tab and then select the portfolio post type as a category

Yes thats possible. Since you would create a different page for another language you can also attach a different layerslider to the page with different elements for another language

it happens when i installed the BuddyPress plugin. Can i use BuddyPress with the Enfold theme?
Hey! The problem you are encountering is due to the fact that you are running on a server that does not use a lot of memory for your php files. Unfortunately both enfold, as well as buddypress got so many backend options that especially in the admin panel they need that memory.
There are 2 ways you can use to increase memory:
Either you try to increase the memory yourself: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHPor you simply ask your service provider to increase it in the server settings if the above method doesnt work

Add this to your custom.css stylesheet in folder /css/ or to the quick-css panel located in your wordpress backend at Enfold->Styling:

I have posted a ticket regarding comments in the tab. I need to add a comments tab in the portfolio pages. But according to your team, unfortunately that is not possible 
All I can do to modify, is just adding the comments in portfolio, but not in it’s tab.
I would rate this themes with 5 stars only when this feature become available (at the moment 4 stars is for you)

Sorry but the team is unfortunately correct, that would require a customization job that is out of the scope of usual support here on themeforest.
Just purchased this theme… installed and it was easy, but isn’t the dummy data incomplete?
It looks partially as the current demo site, but it doesn’t have several menu items and their pages.
I was interested in the Masonry Blog and Portfolio.

Hey! I am planning to add some major new features to the theme with the next update. Once that is done I will add some new demo pages to the dummy content file but it might take a little while until that is ready.
Masonry Blog and Portfolio are actually very simple to set up. You just need to add the fullwidth masonry element to a page and select the post type

Hello, I have two questions. Can I do fullscreen background images with this one. Would it be possible to have sound snippets in the portfolio. I would not need the singlePortfolio Pages, but the sound should be playable in the portfolio overview. (Like it is with videos in the angular theme) I know it will not work out of the box, but would it be possible.

fullscreen background images do work, yes
As for the sound: how would you like to embed it, simply by mp3? Soundcloud? a video servide? Its of course somehow possible with customization, question is how hard that would be,a nd that depend on how you would like it to work ;D
Probably the easiest way would be to link to a vimeo or youtube video that contains the song, so the video can open in a lightbox. that would require no customization
Thanks for your answer. The Website would be for a recording studio and they have lots of speakers (for commercials, telephone services, etc) who they want to showcase. They do not really need a portfolio site but there are sound snippets of their voices. They would be embedded with mp3 Files either with the built in player or with a plugin. No soundcloud! So I would use the portfolio filters for the categories (male, female, kids,...) and the entries for the sound snippets. There it would be perfect if the player could be embedded in the portfolio overview page so that there is no need for a site for each speaker. There are about 150 speakers.
Ok if you would enable the embeding the sound snippet via a plugin and the plugin provides a shortcode this might actually work. you could then add the shortcode to the portfolio items excerpt text which can optionally be displayed for each item
