How can I add Footer to Homepage?
Hi, there is no such option – the homepage is a full viewport template with no content or footer sections. Try setting the homepage to a static page in the Settings > Reading section if you want to have a footer on your homepage.
Hi the theme is awesome! just one question, how could I (and in case there’s no built in options, which file do I have to tweak to) make the social icons on the header smaller??

Hi, you can modify the theme style by using the Theme Options > Custom CSS field, but for this you’ll need some basic CSS knowledge. You should know support is offered only for theme issues, not customization tasks. If you use a builtin browser inspector like Chrome Inspector or Firebug you’ll be able to understand which style you needs to change in order to have the icons smaller: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp4rDDX_q5s

The theme includes a default.po file ready for the standard WP method of translation (in the languages folder).
Hi there, will this theme support woocommerce 2.6+ i would like to use it as a portfoilio stroke shop to sell photos and videos. ill await a reply before i decide wether to purchase.
Hi, the theme was not tested with the WooCommerce plugin – there is no support for it right now.
LOVE this theme. The way it lays out is perfect. The backend is to the point and easy to use.
Now I just need to get it working with woocommerce. There are certain things that need to be added in order for it to layout and work properly… from what I understand so far.
I have woocommerce installed. It works fine on the 2014 theme. When I switch back to modelish the backend is showing a bunch of blank products and the front end is throwing 404 errors and layout issues.
Can we please take a look at this?

Hey. Totally get that. Just thought it might be something you would want to add to the theme…supporting one of the biggest ecommerce plugins out there would be a good idea. I have been through that page as you see… got most of it working except for the products showing up.

Hi, I entered my themeforest username and the API key for automatic updates, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I want to update my theme without losing all of my information and having to re-enter logos, images, etc. What do I do?
Hi, everything should work out just fine (yesterday I updated a client’s Modelish theme via automatic update), but there are some hosting providers that restrict the wp_remote_request() function making updates difficult for theme’s not in the WordPress repository. I suggest you update via FTP or backup the theme options and re-upload the theme .zip file.
Ok, follow-up question: I updated my theme successfully and everything seems to work fine except for one thing. In the portfolio main page, the titles get cut off. See it here: d2photos.net/portfolio
You’ll see the red titles sometimes get cut off. I’ve tried it on two different computers and two browsers. Happens every time to various titles.

First, let me thank you for this great theme! But I have a problem with the header menu on the homepage. How do I make my images fit to screen? The white area (navigation) overlays my images from the top, which is poor if I’m using people images. The half of the face is overlayed. I’ve tried all fit-options i’ve found on the supersized documentation, but none works fine.
Hi, the supersized plugin scales the images properly and makes them cover the whole screen – this is preferable for landscape images, but not so much for portrait images. You can tweak the plugin settings to fit vertical images too, but that doesn’t look to good in my opinion. The best solution is to use the Detailed Homepage slider which accepts any size and orientation and displays the full image correctly.

Very disappointing theme… No shortcode generator, not easy to build pages as i wanted…. Have experience with other themes, always good or excellent, but never have so many troubles building a page. This theme is not designed for people that are not experts in html. Not what i expect for a Wordpress theme

Hi, no problem there are loads of plugin on CodeCanyon you can extend your project with (at a small price). To disable comments just quick edit all the pages (batch) and disable comments – this is the standard WordPress way. You can create portfolio items in the admin just like posts, create a special page with Portfolio Template selected and that’s it, the theme does the rest.

To be honest, this is the most disappointing themes I’ve bought last years. The homepage looks great, but the rest doesn’t work well at all.
On the demo pages, you see all possibilities. I expected clear shortcodes, or even a shortcode ‘generator’. But after buying it, you only have the brief documentation. And elements like the table showed on http://themes.liviucerchez.com/modelish/typography/ are a combination of html and shortcodes. For adding a row, they need to adjust the html. This is impossible for the end user to understand if they have no knowledge of html.
And to have examples, they need the demo pages, because the codes are not mentioned on the website and the documentation is to brief. Such a pity, because the basis looks nice.

I absolutely love this theme and the features it offers. It’s definitely something that is an asset to my clients and the developer has been nothing but generous with his time and is very attentive. I’m pretty sure he may have rolled his eyes at a lot of my requests, but he still answered in a timely manner (even when I didn’t) and with the utmost professionalism. Hi, the items in the portfolio are either sorted by date or by order (set when editing the item). You can modify the behaviour by editing the template-portfolio.php file.
Hey! Thnx again for the great theme. I have one question! The portfolio page, i don’t want the thumbs to be square but i want theme to be highter than they are wide. For instance 200px height and 100px width.
How can i do this without the image being streched, because the image is cropped down to a square one
Hi, you should know the layout is responsive and the images will not have a specific display size (will adapt to different screen sizes). Having said that, you can still modify the aspect ratio of the image (1:2 in your case) by editing the portfolio page directly (template-portfolio.php) or creating a child theme with the changes.

Use the Editor in the Appearance section on template-portfolio.php (line 58) – change the width and height of the generated thumbnail image.
Beautiful theme. I have a question regarding the single portfolio page. I’d like to use the portfolio section to display a specific kind of photoshoot that we do. Currently though, in the dashboard you can only add one “additional image” at a time. I would like to add more than 20 for each post and this gets very time consuming to insert one image into post at a time. I found a plugin called “faster image insert” which is supposed to allow you to check multiple images to insert, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with your theme. When adding a bunch of images into the regular content section in places them on the right sidebar. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

I have made several categories, and i’ve made portfolio items in them. I’ve also made multiple pages where i’ve assigned a category, but only the base category where all the portfolio items are showing items.
How can i show just see posts from one portfolio categorie on a page?

I received your email but for some reason I can’t reply (Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender). Anyway, I modified the slug of the Modellen page from modellen to modellen-schaukasten – please adjust it as you see fit. The issue was you already defined a modellen slug in the Theme Options and these unique names conflict.
Having issue making the homepage appear as either the “detailed page” or “supersized gallery”
What page and template does the static front page need to be set to, to enable the system?

What was the fix for the slides being different sizes? Square/ portrait/ landscape?

Hi, I just updated the theme and now I cant edit anything in the : Appearance – theme options section. I did the standard procedeure of deleting the old theme and then uploading the .zip file into Wordpress. Do you know why its not working? Cheers,

Hi, the SEO tab was indeed removed because an external plugin handles it much better – I recommand WordPress SEO by Yoast: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

I am trying to insert a GMAP embed code into the contact page but it seems to be ignoring the frame size I am specifying and making the map really big.
