About the scroll to top feature, you have available an option within the panel to enable this helper. We tried to make the option panel as easy to use as possible, so playing with the options will be very easy

perfect! thank you! .... the white slanted bar that houses them majority of text. I realize we can either put a background image or make that an individual color but i was wondering about the white. Which I’m assuming you can.

Pues podrías poner la página de portfolio a modo de home, pero el theme no ofrece herramientas para crear un estilo “one-page”, lo siento. Me refiero al típico comportamiento al hacer click en una opción del menú y anclarlo con el scroll a la sección de referencia.

No estoy seguro de si Flamingo se ajustaría a tus necesidades, la verdad. Pero en cualquier caso, si tienes alguna otra duda, házmelo saber y trataré de explicarte con más detalle.

I´m not sure how would you like to add different fonts, I mean. Do you want to add new fonts from Google Font directory or add your own based on font-face?

Both cases are possible and easy to implement. In case of google fonts, the theme offers more than 200 options, and adding new fonts to the panel will take you less than a minute

In case you need help with it, I recommend you opening a support ticket and we will help with it.

Thanks for the fast reply. I actually want to add more google fonts to the theme, as our headings font is Roboto, but its not available in the current directory. I will make a ticket as I also have a few more important questions.

- Can you update the theme directly through the admin panel (eg. for client, without going through ThemeForest download)?

- Is it possible to use a video for the homepage header/slider? (or is it just for blog posts)

- With your .move-top-50 etc. class, is it hard to implement move-left/right? Is it possible to have part of an image under the text on the left side (on homepage left column of text)?

- Can you change the main content (white background) color/texture/use an image? With the included PSD’s, can you edit the main content background?

Hi Kal,

the theme includes the Envato Wordpress Toolkit plugin that allows you to update the theme within your Wordpress dashboard, you can take a look here to this feature.

About adding video within the slider (I understand you refer to this), this is not possible. The main slider only allows images. But you can add videos from Vimeo and Youtube as background in a very easy way using the option for this.

The helper classes for moving content blocks to top or bottom could be complemented with left/right in a very easy way. Currently they are not available, but you could add it as custom styles and then add these new classes in the same way. The process would be the same.

About the content background color, you could change it in a very easy way. Only the image would be more problematic because this element could be very hight and your images could not fit well.

yes, you can assign a slider or a single image instead. This will disable any slider behavior, the arrows too. By default, any page has not assigned a slider.

About make the titles as slides is not a native slider option. And when it is enabled, any default background is removed, becuause if this would be possible you could assign a default background static image and then assign transparent images to the slides. This would be the trick, but this is not possible without editing the core javascript for this.

And yes, the icons are font awesome based, and adding a dribbble icon would be so easy as you can see here.

en respuesta a tu primera consulta, te recomendaría que eches un vistazo a esta parte de la documentación. Ahí verás un “important notice” donde se explica con detalle cómo funciona esta opción.

En cuanto al tema del color para la descripción del área de portfolio. Esta funciona igual que en el resto de páginas. Abre la página que tienes asignada como portfolio y busca este campo y allí podrás asignar el color que prefieras de una manera muy sencilla.

I your case, if you are not using the Envato Toolkit plugin, I recommend you not to install it in order to avoid this issue.

In case you want to use it, you will need to contact to your hosting provider in order to turn off the safe mode for php. This is a server issue.

About the Visual Composer upgrade, just update the theme and the plugin will be updated too. You don´t need to purchase nothing else with Flamingo, all the assets are included.

If you want to update the theme, the easiest way is via FTP, creating a new folder within themes folder named somthing like flamingo-v1-32 and copying all the theme files insider, after this, open your WP dashboard > Themes and activate the new copy you have installed. If something is wrong, you always can reactivate the old one. Notice that if you made modifications in some core file, you will need to support these changes.

you can enable more than a one portfolio as you suggest, but you will need to disable the option/button to back to main portfolio in order to maintain some logics integrity of the theme due to some technical issues.

Also, I cannot change the color for the header titles and button for the blog page. It’s standard white. Hope you can help out?

Edit: Ahhh that is set standard in the general settings. Solved for now, but a standard option for header texts and color per page would be very handy.

I´m sorry to say that this kind of gallery is not available but you could add a image or link in your page that will fire the fullscreen gallery as the main option does. But the gallery inside a div within the block content is not an available option.

I recommend you to update the theme. This issue was caused due to past update and it was fixed quickly in a new update. So if you upgrade to the last version you will fix this issue.

Also, I have noticed that your menu is displaying weird, are you activating the menu correctly from the menu area within the Wordpress dashboard?
