Regarding logo, yes, you can fit any logo since you can set height of header by yourself.

Regarding WP, we didn’t updated it yet, but as far as we know, there should not be problems.

Regarding banners, you could put banners in sidebar and show them on pages.

I wanted the top banner image, i guess it possible with visual composer also, if i set an image, at the top of the page…?? Sidebar option is quite tricky, as I may not want it in every page.

Are u sure it would work effectively with Wordpress 3.7 or 3.7.1?? Then I shall Buy the theme.

Can I have search showing at homepage,instead of that contact details at the top?

unfortunately you can’t embed .flv videos. You can only add videos from Youtube and Vimeo.

Thank you for your reply. Bummer, though, about .flv videos … I think it’s the dealbreaker for me on this theme. Do you know if a plugin might work toward embedding .flv videos in your theme? or maybe recommend one?

Well this would require a changing of templates, since video is rendered on predefined place. Content of post itself is rendered bellow “About” title, so maybe there you could import flv videos via some plugin.

A number of themes have shortcodes or portfolio templating for self-hosted videos like .flv files. Is there any chance you might put out a revision that would include that capability? It’s a huge selling point for me!

Just a note that indeed I’m interested in your theme should it get updated to accommodate for .flv files in the portfolio and elsewhere (shortcode, etc.).

No problem; FLV files are one type of self-hosted video I use on my site. Which is the more general request… Any chance to make this theme workable with videos NOT on YouTube or Vimeo? i.e., Can you update your theme to work with self-hosted videos? Other themes have the capability and it’s a huge determiner on whether I can buy a theme. Yours is still tops for me but without self-hosted video options (MOV files, etc), I just can’t buy.

Why don’t you just add your own html code in order to add any type of video you want. I understand that this is requirement for you, but I want to be honest and not give false promises. Currently, we are very busy and also Christmas and New Year are coming and most of our team will not work those days, which will make us behind the schedule. We just can’t work on any new requests at this moment. Sorry for that.

Thank you for the recommendation. Not knowing how videos are inserted into portfolios or as featured items in posts in the backend of your theme, I’m unsure that’s something I’m capable of doing. For now, I’ll just wait and see. Congrats on the new Elision theme!

I continue to take an enthusiastic interest in your theme, but how videos are handled are keeping me from purchasing.

Perhaps you could help me understand how Vimeo and YouTube videos are inserted into posts and portfolio entries in your theme.

Are they inserted merely by my adding the html embed code (iframe, etc.) into field or box on the Add Post or Add Portfolio page in the Dashboard? Or does the theme require the video’s unique identifier and display the video? Or does the theme require the URL of the video and display the video?

I ask because if it’s merely a matter of my adding an html embed code into a field or box, it seems easy enough for me to have the theme display almost any video (flv included) - and I may be able to make a purchase. However, if the theme only can take the URL of the video (or its unique identifier), I’m guessing there is “magic” in the theme that then translates that information to display the video - and it would be above my abilities to tweak to make work for other video like flv files.

Hopefully you can fill me in how videos are added to posts or portfolio entries in your theme. Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Hi,

Could you be more specific about “make the top bar menu the full width of the parallax”. This theme doesn’t have full width template.

Regarding social icons, you probably checked in widget to render P tags, and that’s why your content is little low (because of P margins). You could either uncheck automatic renderig of P tag or add custom css to disable this margin, like:

header .right p{
    margin: 0px;
}

the custom css didn’t work however i have changed the pixel height of the bar.

for the menu bar the last item (our offices & linked in icon) I want it to be aligned with the right edge of the parallax image. Not indented. Is this possible?
