what a nice theme!
How about the Front Page Manager, what options are there? Is it possible to add your own content/widgets or just the latest blog posts? Dou you have a screenshot?

There are 2 ways to manage Homepage. You can show latest posts or manage it by Front Page Manager.
Via Front Page Manager you can publish posts, pages, category widgets or custom content (on our demo you can see example with Facebook Widget as custom content). Also when you are inserting posts you can just check if you want to publish it on homepage and optional you can choose size of a box (you can also setup default size) and content from posts, or even insert secondary image (if you want to show other image in Box), excerpt text (different text for homepage) and etc.
You can pin posts in order to have them always on same position, even if you insert new content.

Great theme. I purchased. The mobile version of the theme h1 tags are huge. Consider making them a bit smaller so words greater than 8 letters don’t get chopped into multiple lines.
Also have you made any edits since the first version? Let me know if i should re-upload the theme as I was one of your first customers.

Yes, we published 2 updates (latest version is Ubergrid 1.1.1), so please update it because we fixed minor bugs and introduced new features: Page Builder in Posts, Full Page Width, Right Sidebar on Homepage…
You can insert this code via Custom CSS field (Theme Settings) and you’ll have a bit smaller fonts (you can change size als)

hey guys, love the theme, perfect what I’m after.
I’m using the latest licensed flowplayer on a revamp of my site http://www.stevenemerson.co.uk/Problem I’m having is when I scroll and new content is loaded the freshly loaded videos are static jpgs and when clicked do nothing.
Fairly code (CSS, php) savvy, so shoot from the hip 
haha

If you disable infinite scroll (Theme Settings) it will load all your content, so there shouldn’t be problem. Thing is you should maybe make different setting for player (to initialize every time new content is loaded in infinite scroll)

Theme is compatible with WPML, and for CodeStyling we checked this issue and it seems that it’s plugin issue, because there are lot of people with same problem http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/codestyling-localizationSo, our suggestion is to use Ubergrid Theme with WMPL plugin.

I really love your theme. just starting to implement it into my new blog.
BUT: there are no social media buttons on my posts. only a “tweet” text link. I enabled them through the social section in theme settings. also, I did create a facebook app and inserted the ID number in the dedicated field.
Question Nr. 2: how do I make a nice looking gallery post, like the one in your demo? somehow this doesn’t work for me… but this could also be me being an idiot and overseeing something ^^
I have a pinit button now, that is next to my tweet text link, without any space between… but still no facebook, linked in, proper twitter….

Hi Daniel,
you should choose Gallery Post Format. It’s on the right side when you are inserting/editing post. Then you’ll have gallery post like the one on preview. Every picture that is linked with that post will be shown in featured area and you don’t have to insert gallery in a post.
Check Documentation file (PDF), because you have screen shots there also.

Is there a way to use the grid display that you have on the home page on category pages? I had a look at the code for the home template:

if you disable Right Sidebar on Homepage (Theme Settings), then it will look like demo (full width), because all boxes will fit.
Now, for some resolution you don’t have dead space and for others (high res) you probably have a little bit.

Hey there, loving the theme! I had the same issue as Paletteproject and thanks to your reply I fixed it However now, I’m trying to delete pages so they disappear from left sidebar, but no joy. I’m guessing I need to delete them from the place holder page (front page), but don’t know how. Can you help me please?

I’m trying to implement a licensed webfont. I didn’t want to mess with header in the theme so I have a plug-in that inserts the php that calls the required CSS file. HOwever, it’s only working on the front page. No other page sees the code in the header it seems, but it does try and render the new font resulting in the browser default.

What a cool theme! I have one dilemma. None of my posts are showing up on the front page. I have “Use Front Page Manager” UNchecked and about 25 current blog posts but it only shows “HOME” and “LEAVE A COMMENT.”

Is it possible to load all the posts on the front page at once? I am having issues without how the theme looks on Android tablets namely the Google nexus 7. Theme isn’t changing the Image sizes when viewed in portrait orientation on Android tablets. You should also add the option to use a graphic logo instead of a txt logo on mobile devices as well as support for the Disqus comment system with your theme. The Disqus plugin doesn’t look right when installed, it has a transparent background that’s very hard to view instead of the white one like the regular comment system

when you insert Max Number of Boxes and you disable Infinite Scroll, then posts should be load at once.
This with Disqus comments is doable with small CSS changes, but this is something will do in our next update.
Also we are thinking about solution for logo and etc.. but we already send you customization for logo?

also jetpack interferes with the size of the logo in the upper left corner of the theme

regarding the customization, you could make child theme and copy only changed file, then it would be safe for you to upgrade the theme without losing changes. We got this kind of feedback only from you, but if you say there are more users with the same issue we’ll put it in our next update 
As for the jetpack plugin issue, it interefers exactly how? Your logo is 200×112 (400×225 for retina displays) and it looks like it’s displayed correctly.. or not?

lol…sometimes it displays correctly and other time it appears to be stretched vertically. If you click the logo and wait for the site to reload then it displays correctly. I think it has something to do with jetpack because it only happens when I have that plugin enabled. Thank you for the help !
also for the font title effect, which browsers are compatible with that ? I have anaglyph enabled and I am not seeing any difference
Excellent theme! By the way, I have a question about “Media URL” which could be put in each post. It seems that it doesn’t work if I’d like to put a long URL such as SoundCloud. Maybe this is because of the default characteristics of wp_oembed_get function, but please let me know if there is a way to increase the limit of URL lengths.

I have a couple more questions. If I can write my blog in amongst the boxes on the home page then 1) can I write an excerpt that links to the blog?
Also,
2) can I put photos in the boxes that link to other websites?
3) is there a minimum number of boxes required for the homepage and, if so, what is it?

Hi,
if you are writing blog as regular (posts) then you can publish your blog on Home Page and use Excerpt text which will be shown on Home Page. You can also make Custom Box, but then you are inserting HTML code (basic knowledge) and you can show picture, text, links or whatever you want.
There isn’t minimum number of Boxes, and you can choose max number of Boxes or infinite scroll.

Hi, I love your theme, but I’m a complete newbie so this might be a really dumb question: I love the landing page layout that you have. However, I’m wondering if I can create a box that would allow me to put a daily blog in there of about 300 words or so. My hope is to have a lively home page (just as you have there), but with one large section where I write my blog right on the home page. Is that possible? Also, I’ll eventually want to add a “chat” plugin, would that be possible too? Thank you!

with new upgrade it’s possible to make custom Box Sizes on Home page. You can choose size of Medium Box, and sizes of Big and Small Boxes will be calculated automatically.
Also you can add Custom Box with HTML code, so you can insert Facebook Widget or etc (Chat Widget…)

You need to create a page, which will be used as a ‘placeholder’ for home page. Just create a page as usual, title it Home page, set page template to ‘Home page’ (http://d.pr/i/rTdN) and save it.
Then from the wordpress admin menu select: Settings -> Reading and set newly created page as your ‘Front page’ (http://d.pr/i/FHis).
Of course, you’ll need to add posts, you wish to display on the front page, using ‘Front page manager’

Small box: 225×140px (450×280px for retina displays) Medium box: 225×290px (450×580px for retina displays) Big box: 490×290px (980×580px for retina displays)
