Hi, in version 2.2 I modified the single_portfolio_page.php to rename the /portfolio_page/ slug in portfolio URLs, but after updating version 2.2.1 it doesn’t work anymore. That is because you overrun your change with our new files. You have to do it again if you want to change slug “porfolio_page” in functions.php on line 388.

Everything is coming along nicely but I need help with the following: (working locally with MAMP)
1. My Single Blog posts are built with two columns shortcodes, but for some reason I don’t get any of the characters/text in the Blog List Page which is the Blog List Style1 with sidebar. I have the title, the featured image and “READ MORE” but no text, just empty space. How can I solve this issue?
2. How do I change on the blog posts the text “READ MORE” from all uppercase to “read more” lowercase?
3. How do I hide the date, “posted by” and “no comments” on single and list posts on the blog? Comments are turned off and are hidden, but all posts show “no comments” text.
4. When would you be able to add a Back to Top arrow?

1. You have to fill in “Exerpt” field on the post page, since that is shown on blog list.
2. You could change translation in po/mo files or you could ad some custom css in custom css filed:
.posts_holder article a.more{
text-transform: lowercase;
}
3. You could add some custom css also:
.posts_holder article .info,
.posts_holder2.post_single article .info{
display: none;
}
4. We will consider it, we could not promise a due date.

OK, based on your advice, I managed to solve #1 and #2.
Tried the custom css for #3 but did not work.
Please help me to take out, at least the “author” and the “no comments” from the list posts on the blog.

By “author” I mean “Posted by admin name”
Hi,
you can override blog templates in your child theme and search for the text that you want to remove or edit. That is the safest solution.

Hello Qode, Great theme, I got it some time ago.. but decided to install only now.
The theme installation is completed – via FTP (because it showed other errors, when I did it via and the theme install upload inside WB). Nonetheless, once I try and activate, I get the following error:

1. How can I get rid of the seperator under the Nav bar
2. Is it somehow possible (can also be template changes) to change the “About” title of a seperate project into the Project title?
3. Is it somehow possible (can also be template changes) to change the hover of the small portfolio/blog slider. I would like to have change transparency and get rid of the sliding effect.
4. Get rid of the hover box in the Nav bar
5. Is it possible to change the height of the nav bar (without changing the height of the logo),
6. Is it possible to get rid of the arrows on the left and right side of the big slider?
7. How can I get rid of the seperators in the portfolio 2 column layout?
Sorry for the large amount of questions. I do really like the theme and all of its functionality, I just want to make it even more minimal!

Two questions:
1. I would like to have the same look for the social icons (at the right bottom of the page) as the one you showcase in your demo but haven’t been able to do so. See www.thefrancogerman.com
2. When accessing the website through a mobile device, the pages don’t display and all I get is a big smiley. Why is that?

Ok, so I managed to solve the two above mentionned problems by myself, but one thing is still not working properly. For some reason, the facebook social icon is displayed although I don’t have the related order in my text widget. Any idea why that is? Some kind of bug?

Regarding facebook icon, check if you didn’t left some comma sign at the end of the shortcode, and also if you insert right all of social icons (“name, link, name, link”).

I have a question, before I purchase this theme.
Is there an easy way to change the look of the top menubar? I would like to make it even more minimalist. I don’t want the hover box sliding over the menu items and change the look of the drop down menu.
If it’s just a bit of tinkering with the CSS this would be fine. Please let me know.

Did you set up featured image for those portfolios? Since this featured image is showing up on portfolio list. After that you only need to put portfolio list shortcode in page content, for ex.:
[portfolio_list columns=”4” filter=”yes”]
