Yes there are many great lightbox out there but.. We wanted simple, lightweight lightbox which adds valid HTML code, and there aren’t that many of them like that. Bunch of them adds heavy js/css files and add HTML attrribute ‘rel’, with custom value, on links which wrap images that need to be displayed in lightbox. That just simply isn’t valid HTML. One things is ThemeForest’s review, which requires that all pages pass HTML validation, and another is that we just didn’t want to generate invalid HTML (even if user is not aware of that). But you’re right, this lightbox is far from perfect, and it seems that we will have to make one from scratch to satisfy our needs.

1. There should be displayed latest, not random post, from category. WordPress shouldn’t display posts with status other then ‘published’ (which is default value for post_status parameter), but this will be fixed ASAP.

2. This was an issue for us, we shortened default excerpt length for medium boxes, from 55 to 18 words, but if content fits or not of course depends on how long words are. Length of a title is another issue, if it’s two or three lines long it will ‘push’ down the content, and there for we can’t set some ‘universal’ value (if excerpt is more shortened there would be couple ‘blank’ lines at the bottom if title is only one line long). That’s why we left to user to enter excerpt, which will be appropriate length. Adding one extra back end option for that is not a problem, we will add it in next update.

3. Are you logged in? If so WordPress adds it’s own menu bar which is 32px high, and that’s why it seems that menu is cut off. For non logged user that should be fine.

Gallery is Post with “Gallery Post Format”. It’s on the right side when you are inserting/editing post. Every picture that is linked with that post will be shown in featured area and you don’t have to insert gallery in a post.

In Post section of Documentation file (PDF) you should see this also.

1. Demo Web site is with infinite scroll, so site is faster loading first scroll content and then after visitor initiate it loads other content. If you disable infinite scroll, then it will load everything at the begging.

2. In the Right Sidebar you have 2 Widget Areas and you can choose if you want to show this sidebar on homepage, also.

3. Yes, if you have basic CSS knowledge, via Theme Settings you can change font with drop down menu and etc.. If you need help for this please write us private message

4. Yes, you can use YouTube, also

5. Yes you can increase the width via Theme Settings, you just need to choose Full Page Width (without Right Sidebar)
