We are having some issues with the ninja-modal forms plugin and the Satellite 7 theme. I believe we have traced the issue down to how the navigation links are handled.
For example:
1. I go to the home landing page of my website. 2. I click one of the navigation links at the top. This click event is handled by the ‘loadResource’ method in ajax.min.js. It appears as though it uses JQuery to make an AJAX request for the page, then inserts the body of the page into the current DOM.
This method suppresses the document onLoad functionality. This also prevents any custom JavaScript on the target navigation page from working correctly.

We are trying to show latests posts on homepage, with shortcode [latest_post post_number=’2’ order_by=’menu_order’ order=’ASC’ category=’Noticias,Curiosidades’ text_length=’300’/]
But it only show, past posts, and always same. Its like the page has cache information, and doesnt show recent published posts.
We dont have supercache or similar plugins.
What it could be?

I have been trying to configure my website but somehow I am not able to put different social media icons on the top header. When I add they all come in twitter icon. And at the footer somehow I am not able to get colors on the icon. Just the theme colors would do. Your help would be appreciated.

for top header social icons shortcode you should choose black style attribute and they will display as on our demo. For footer social icons shortcode you should leave empty background color parameter.

I added the above mentioned commands and they seem to be working fine now.
But I am still facing two issues.
1. I added the code for social icons on the side menu, but unable to get them. Below is the code.

Thank you for being our customer. We will definitely do updates of the theme, but when talking about new features some newer themes have, it’s hard to put them in previous themes without page builder, as we had to change our framework a lot in order to implement it. Sorry for that.

Hi, Is there a way to add a new social icon other than twitter, facebook, pinterest and dribble. I want to add instagram. How do i go about doing that?
Also, how do i fix homepage parallax responsiveness. It does not change sizes.

Hi,
you can add another social icon by adding image that you want to all theme’s social icons sprites. Icons sprites that you need to edit are social_icons_sprite.png, social_icons_sprite@1_5x.png, social_icons_sprite@2x.png. After you do that you should edit qode_shortcodes_social_icon.php file that is located in satellite/includes folder. In that file you need to add another option for pinterest in icons dropdown. The last step is to add css that handles background image position. You can take a look how we did it for existing icons.
Our parallax isn’t responsive because if you make image responsive then height of image would also get lower and the content that parallax has will fall out of it.

So if i use parallax, there is no way to make it look better in mobile devices? Either use parallax (for monitors) and lose it for mobile devices or just don’t use parallax at all?
Parallax doesn’t need to be responsive, i just want the image to shrink like your demo page does on mobile devices. I don’t need to have parallax effect of mobile devices.. only monitor is good enough. How do i do that?

you can turn off parallax effect on touch devices. Just go to Qode -> Parallax and set Parallax on Touch Devices to no.

It is checked as NO but still the pictures does not shrink to mobile size.

Hi Qode, Still having two fundamental issues with this theme.
1. When I remove the title image on posts it cuts off the title of single blog posts (Ticket #139962, Ticket #142537)
2. When I create a video formatted post, it won’t display video (Ticket #143106)
One of the tickets was opened 2 weeks ago and still hasn’t been solved.
